East: Tampa still leads Boston by three games. New York drops back two games to seven out.
Central: Minnesota remains 1/2 a game ahead. Detroit drops one game.
West: Angels extend lead to 14 games.
East: Philadelphia remains in first. Mets gain two games, take second place, one game out. Floria remains 2.5 back.
Central: Milwaukee gains one game on first place Chicago. St. Louis remains six games back.
West: Dodgers pick up 1/2 game on Diamondbacks, 1/2 game out.
Winners and Losers:
Winners: New York Mets gaining on Philadelphia moving into second place.
Losers: New York Yankees, Jaba Chamberlain appears lost for the season. Yanks drop 1 1/2 games in Wild Card chase.
All in all, a pretty quiet week with most of the action focused on the two New York teams. Midweek series have contenders batting contenders with the Yankees visiting Minnesota.
