The Sarah Palin Evaluation: The Factors Behind Why She Must Leave the Spotlight NOW!!!

Who’s going to tell Sarah Palin to shut up and go away? It’s clear that independent voters can’t stand her. A majority of Republicans don’t support her. Giving her every benefit of the doubt since she burst on the scene at the 2008 Republican convention, she has shown ZERO growth as a possible leader. She has regressed to a position of pure ridicule.

Sarah Palin has had two years to do her homework, to absorb what’s important in international affairs, to see how things work in the lower 48 states, to roll up her sleeves and make meaningful contributions to some worthy enterprise, and to show the United States she is working hard to earn the nation’s respect.

She has done none of that. One other important requirement was that she finished her term as governor of Alaska showing herself to be a competent and in-charge leader accomplishing the important tasks at hand. Instead, she resigned from her office without being able to present any coherent explanation that exceeds personal self-pity and selfish motivation. She needed to demonstrate she was using her position as an executive to demonstrate her growth toward higher ambitions, but she failed completely. Perhaps the glare of the spotlights down south was just too much of an opiate to avoid.

She has spent her time engaged in constant self promotion appearing coast to coast promoting her notion of a conservative agenda as if all the important issues of our time can be reduced to simple slogans and that all issues can be defined in terms of good guys and bad guys defined in very black and white terms.

Sure, she has taken some horrible abuse by the media, but the gaffes she made during the 2008 election campaign and more recently are her responsibility. Knowing ahead of time the mainstream (which she sarcastically keeps calling “lamestream”) media would be tough on her, she needed to be prepared for how to handle tough questions while maintaining her poise. She continues to this day to belittle Katy Couric as if her question about what she reads was unfair. While perhaps Couric could have framed the question a bit more artfully, having listened to an interviewee presenting a lot of opinion, making broad accusations, and being rather lacking on specifics, asking her where she got her information and what helped her understand the issues was a perfectly legitimate question. She blew it.

Sarah Palin has put tremendous focus on blasting the media but to what aim? Has she provided clearer focus on how the media is biased and motivated the public to act upon that concern?

Again, Palin strikes out miserably. She continues to lambast the media as if out of some great sense of vengeance all the while not accepting that any greater ambitions beyond her incomplete term as governor of Alaska requires the media to present her to the public and she is doing nothing to engender good will from the press when she constantly antagonizes them more through insults than cataloging specific grievances. Her hubris suggests she can get her message out going around the media with lots of staged events and speaking appearances having one network in her pocket. That strategy is not helping her with anyone but her most dedicated faithful.

Her cozy relationship with Fox News and how that network gives her an open microphone where she can stand on her soapbox demagoguing her issues to death making sweeping accusations and trumpeting her own brilliance acting as an advocate of constitutional government and understanding American history. Clearly, the Fox News Network has an agenda to give her carte blanche to speak on issues as she sees fit. In interview situations, she is thrown softball questions and when a more difficult question is addressed to her or she does not answer a question fully, no probing follow up questions are advanced. Her Sunday, June 5th appearance on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace gave the appearance of a scripted performance. Generally on Sunday Morning news programs the guests of honor are present in the studio. Palin was in Arizona from a remote studio in front of a green screen allowing for Fox News graphics to be displayed behind her while Wallace posed his questions from the set of the Washington studio. The program gave the appearance of an interview that could have been edited. It appeared too scripted, and Chris Wallace who is one of the most aggressive interviewers in the business was conspicuously lax on follow up questions treating Palin with the kind of reverence generally afforded a head of state or major religious figure, not an ambitious, opinionated, ambitious politician.

Whether Palin chooses to run for President remains to be seen, but in the meantime she is sucking the oxygen out of the room for her fellow party candidates whose message is being obscured by the constant exposure she gets at the expense of her possible rivals. That she was in New Hampshire as a stop on her nebulous bus tour of the Northeastern United States on the day Mitt Romney announced his candidacy in the Granite State that same day.

The cold hard facts for Palin cannot be ignored. The majority of America can’t stand her.

More significantly the gap between her favorable and unfavorable ratings has continuously widened since the 2008 elections. Regardless how much a hard core group of Republicans continue to support her, the majority of Americans are against her for many reasons.

Palin’s recent screw up on Paul Revere’s ride and how she handled facing up to her error was quite revealing of her dreadful lack of character and obvious hypocrisy. One can’t view the video of her being questioned and not see a person gasping for an answer but appearing to wing it as she answered. She attempted to wed Paul Revere’s roll to that of preserving the right to bear arms speaking of his ringing bells to alert the colonists. When confronted with her error, she attempted to justify her answer was correct and that asking her the question was an ambush attempting to make her look bad. See what happens when ANY media besides Fox News gets a microphone in front of her?

Meanwhile, when Michelle Bachman visited Concord, New Hampshire earlier in the year, she confused the significance of Concord New Hampshire with that of Concord, Massachusetts in the American Revolution. She responded by joking that she had borrowed Barack Obama’s teleprompter, but when she was probed further, she refused to blame anyone but herself.

Given how often Bachman is compared to Palin, Bachman is absolutely more mature, experienced and prepared.

Face it, Sarah Palin is not intelligent, but oh how cautiously Republicans dance around that issue almost forcing themselves to always mention, “she’s actually quite intelligent” when questioned about her roll in the party. Not a single one of them sounded convincing and the sense of patronizing was so painfully apparent.

Two politicians, one her political rival in Alaska, fellow Republican, Lisa Murkowski, who Palin has attacked repeatedly with vicious personal attacks and sarcastic insults and Jeb Bush, surely one of the most universally respected Republicans, both have stated clearly they doubt Sarah Palin’s “intellectual” curiosity.

If enthusiasm alone were the ticket to great things, Sarah Palin would be quite an impressive leader, but the cold hard truth is no matter how much her supports spin perceptions or how much Fox News Network carries her baggage, she is a horrible embarrassment to the American political process. If subjected to the real rigors of media scrutiny which she avoids entirely, it’s obvious Sarah Palin would fail miserably. Each encounter brings her down lower and lower.

We have to conclude it would be interesting to see how she would do if she were to appear on Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? Let’s propose some questions on American history and the U.S. Constitution on a 5th grade level and see how the Diva of Dullards would perform. How ironic it is that the two most notable interviews on Sunday, June 5 were of Sarah Palin in the friendly confines of Fox News and Lady Gaga on Sixty Minutes. Could anyone watch both interviews and not see Lady Gaga is not far broader minded, inquisitive, and intellectually superior to the Wasilla Wench?

Arizona Massacre: The New Reefer Madness



What is it with everyone’s obsession to try to find someone or something to blame for the Tucson shootout other than the evil nutcase himself, Jared Loughner?

Sure there are plenty of would have, could have, should have’s, but excuse the cliché, hindsight is always 20-20.

Now, in part due to Barack Obama’s wonderful address, the blame is sliding away from feeble attempts in the media to pin the murders on conservatives and talk radio. Now it’s time for the conservatives to play the blame game along with the believers in the “drug free America” crows to take their stab at it.

Marijuana caused Loughner to go nuts and kill. Common sense alone would tell a right minded person, this is preposterous. If Marijuana were capable of causing such an extreme degree of drug induced psychosis there would be many more episodes of pot smokers gone berzerko and blasting innocent citizens.

It’s probably not too surprising that folks who engage in dangerous anti-social behavior would smoke weed. The way they see the world laws have no meaning so if society admonishes against pot smoking, it must be pretty cool to puff.

Just as there is a rush to create new gun laws, now there’s some who want to create new drug/gun laws. Gun owners should have to take drug tests to own a firearm and if one is convicted of drug possession, that person would forfeit his right to own guns. Okay, we probably don’t want folks stoned out of their mind carrying guns – but ditto for those who had a bad day at the office, drank a few beers, or had a bad argument with the wife.

The issue is mental illness and our society is doing a terrible job dealing with such unfortunate people.

By the 21st century, it’s hard to believe that so many still seek to continue marijuana possession. There’s nothing Washington, DC or in statehouses around the country can do that will keep people from smoking pot. The consequences of illegal marijuana are obvious. The horrors along our southern border and below it have much to do with the value of the cash crop marijuana represents and the huge profits satisfying its high demand in US society.

Legalize marijuana, tax it, put the tax money toward bailing out the debt and perhaps also helping to finance medical reform. Doing so would dry up the black market. If the black market were eliminated, perhaps laws could be enacted that would make it illegal for the mentally ill with certain conditions to purchase marijuana – such could be recorded on their driver’s license or suitable ID required to buy marijuana and alcohol.

Marijuana reform requires a little bit of bold thinking out of the box and one hell of a lot of common sense. In the meantime, what went wrong with Jared Loughner will become clearer for all to see. The left will never let a good crisis go to waist. Everything that appears to threaten public safety becomes another excuse to enact more laws to micromanage everything, and we must always look for boogy men beside the real culprits.

The blame game is as insane.

2010 -- Ten Losers --- Ring 'em out with the old or ring their necks -- the less seen of them in 2011 would be a blessing!!!!

2010 Losers, Liars, Loafers, Loud-mouths…


2010 was a bumper crop year for idiots, lowlifes, liar, loud-mouths, losers, and generally maladjusted individuals to make their mark. While surely Barack Obama could top the list just has he has since his emergence in the public eye – what can we say about O-blunder that we haven’t said already. Whether it was publicly dressing down John McCain during a White House meeting on the economy, the countless sorties around the globe he and his Mrs. embarked upon, his failure to take seriously the day-to-day administrative roll of government demonstrating the incompetence borne of inexperience, his constant whining and finger pointing and lightly veiled efforts to push the republic ever closer to European style socialism, ol’ O-blunder deserves some kind of lifetime achievement award in the sphere of hateful politics.

Nancy Pelosi
Close behind Obama’s performance and surely one of the most despicable figures in recent American history would be Queen Nancy. Good old Nancy Pelosi, we needn’t list her many crimes here. We do allow ourselves a little schadenfreude that she will now be flying commercial stripped of the elegant military transport she demanded upon ascent to her Queen Bitch position. She best summed up the kind of arrogant idiot she is when addressing a supportive audience of special interest lackeys concerning Obama-care when she stated: “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy….”

Sarah Palin
As if the previous two years weren’t long enough for Sarah Palin to wear out her welcome, her self-serving publicity gag about Momma Grizzlies is enough to elicit vomiting. Attempting to seize the Tea Party movement as the “Elect Palin in 2012” mob, her involvement in the mid-term elections turned something very good into great possibilities squandered. Her personal vendetta against the Murkowski family in Alaska saw Joe Miller defeat Murkowski in the primaries then to lose to her in the general election through write-in ballots. Nevada was well on its way to ridding itself of Harry the horrible with a strong field of challengers. Palin supported Sharon Angle, a nice lady but someone so hopelessly confused, she just wasn’t cut out to be a senator, thus, Harry Reid remains. The Republicans even had a rare chance to gain a Senate seat in Delaware filling what had been Joe Biden’s seat. Their incumbent congressman was poised to slaughter the democratic opposition. Enter Christine O’Donnell, a world class dip shit who many would see as Sarah Palin’s version of mini-me. Another Senate seat remained with the Democrats. Palin has unprecedented media access with Fox News who finds a spot or more for her just about every evening. How nauseating it is to hear a grown-up crying about the naughty boy sitting next to her trying to poke her eye out Her name calling, blame-storming and whining far exceed anything she has going for her. She dare not articulate policies as what little she says about US History or the Constitution wouldn’t reach a middle school level of achievement.


Brett Favre
Brett Favre should have known the party was over when the Vikings lost to the Saints in the NFC championship. That he was staying at his Deep South digs while the rest of the NFL players reported to camp and had to be coaxed into joining the Vikings when a cadre of team mates flew to Mississippi to bring him up north clearly indicated it was time to hang it up. From the very beginning his performance on the field was a disaster then came the charges of hanky-panks with a female member of the New York Jets from two seasons earlier. Finally, his Iron Man streak was over. He was no longer the Huck Finn lovable eternal boy wonder. He was a tired old fart over the hill.

Glenn Beck
Outside a handful of HNN viewers and hardcore devotees to right wing radio, Glenn Beck was a mere nobody two years ago. Like a sickly pestilence, his presence has oozed its way into the conservative voice and if rational folk with traditional values don’t start ostracizing this charlatan the credibility of American conservatism could take a severe hit. The man is a fraud, a fear monger, and a raving demagogue. Beneath the showmanship and wild raves, there is little credible substance but plenty which we find distorted, overstated and misrepresented.

Nothing could demonstrate how dangerous Glenn Beck is than the huge rally he hosted in Washington DC on August 28, 2010 at the Lincoln Memorial, the anniversary of the Martin Luther King “I Have a Dream” speech held on that spot 47 years earlier. To stage a rally dedicated to the whitest of white people couldn’t be a symbolic slap in the face to all who were engaged, liberated, or supportive of the civil rights struggle of that time.

While Beck speaks of the value of learning history and the Constitution, he is a master of neither showing an uncanny ability to selectively take things out of context weaving a quasi-religion that is fundamentalist Christianity at heart but where the disciples and lesser deities are the American founding fathers whose lives were so pure, their wisdom so brilliant, today’s society should stand in awe-struck unquestioning reverence of their contributions. Those who align themselves with those values, “traditional American” values are the good guys. Beck attempts to demonstrate how the world and the United States in particular are speeding like an out of control train toward inevitable destruction lead by a monolithic progressive movement which has been in the driver’s seat in America since Teddy Roosevelt paved the way and Woodrow Wilson got it moving full speed ahead. There are the outwardly obvious “progressives” who are not so thinly veiled communists and socialists such as Barrack Obama and major media and government sources, but there are creepy people he believes the public doesn’t know about such as billionaire financier George Soros who he describes as the puppet master.

Beck screams, cries, and pleads that his followers make a decision – there are but two choices, the traditionalists versus the progressives. History is rapidly moving to an apocalyptic showdown where one side or another will reign supreme after our culture is ravaged by economic collapse, moral decay, and other bad things promoted by progressives.

In preparing for the judgment day, Beck even goes as far as suggesting that his followers horde food and invest every spare dime they have in gold (gold sellers sponsor his show) so they will emerge secure when the rest of the world collapses.

Beck’s gift for extreme overstatement, misrepresentation, and all out pure emotionalism make him a most dangerous fellow attracting the fearful and anti-intellectuals who feel at odds with today’s political picture.

Alan Grayson
Thankfully, Alan Grayson will have a hard time making the list for 2011 since the Florida voters in the Orlando area had enough of his foolishness and voted him out.

Grayson shocked the country with the extreme anger and malicious mischaracterizations of his opponents. First, he did a poster board talk on the floor of the house where successive posters accompanying his narration indicated the Republican health plan were as follows: Don’t get sick. If you get sick, the Republicans want you to die.

In his campaign against Republican Daniel Webster, he ran a campaign ad taking clippings from a completely unrelated Webster speech attempting to establish Webster’s devote Christian faith to being akin to the Taliban that created a message that was in complete opposition to what Webster’s original speech had been about using the phrase, “submit to me” to characterize Webster’s attitude toward women. If there were ever a more mean spirited political ad, it would be hard to imagine what that ad would look like.

Julian Assange
The principle of WikeLeaks appointed himself as a one man arbiter of world order seeking to attempt to undermine American influence by releasing a series of classified government and military documents with threats to do the same for major US corporations including the banking industry. Charged with raping two women in Sweden, this loathsome scumbag has used the Internet as a tool of espionage consistent with the sense of anarchism which infects the radical left and which surfaces in every locale where world leaders gather for G-8 conferences. Interestingly enough, there are at least some connections between Assange and George Soros.

Meanwhile, Assange has become a celebrity of the highest order to some figures in the radical left including Michael Moore. Likewise some extreme right wingers who represent a warped sense of distorted libertarianism embrace his revelations as well.

Hopefully the world justice system will lead him to the United States where he’ll spend the rest of his days in a high security federal prison though Gitmo might be a better setting that Obama would never consider.

PFC Bradley Manning
We’ll soon discover how strict the code of military justice is in the new millennium. Army PFC Bradley Manning assigned to a support battalion with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division then based in Iraq gained access to the government’s Secret Internet Protocol Router Network. He copied the data onto CD or DVD media which he had labeled as a Lady Gaga recording. Working through middlemen, the material was transferred to Assange resulting in massive disclosure.

Perhaps the military should have engaged in more due diligence before assigning Manning to any operation involving intelligence. His biographical details indicate a young man who was defiant, rebellious, confrontational, and willing to defy authority.

Like Assange, Manning is being elevated to celebrity and hero status by the radical left who are attempting to create a furor claiming Manning is being mistreated in custody even imploring the United Nations to investigate. Michael Moore and others are raising money for his defense. Manning is also openly homosexual and has participated in “Gay Pride” events in defiance of the military’s archaic “don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy. For some he is being cast as a victim of an anti-gay military which is of course nonsense given the nature of his crime and that he can hardly be cited as the victim of being framed given the extent to which he has acknowledged his misdoings.

Ultimately, his crimes as a United States soldier constitute treason of the highest order for which he could be executed. Regardless, anything short of full acquittal which is highly unlikely, for the radical left, he will be made into some kind of martyr while rational society will seem him for what he is a treacherous criminal hell bent on damaging national security.

Christine O’Donnell
Just when she was starting to become a fading bad memory, Christine O’Donnell was thrown back in the media spotlight amidst allegations she misused campaign funds in her run for Senator of Delaware.

We can say one thing of Christine O’Donnell. She was not the most unqualified and stupid person to run for Senate in 2010. That award goes to Alvin Greene who ran for the Democrats in South Carolina with zero chance of defeating incumbent, Jim DeMint.

The Republicans had a rare opportunity in Delaware generally a very predictable liberal state. Joe Biden’s long held seat was open. Congressman Michael Castle, well-known state wide having also served as governor, looked like a shoe-in to be Delaware’s next senator, a most important net gain for the Republicans marching toward majority status. Far-left Democrat, Chris Coons, with a reputation for lavish spending and raising taxes, would offer but token opposition. Enter Sarah Palin and her ability to arouse the Tea Party sympathies while perhaps many voters would have seen it plausible Castle could be defeated, and suddenly a person with no meaningful experience and a closet full of personal, financial, and legal issues ripe for revelation, Christine O’Donnell won the state’s Republican Party. Almost immediately, now Coons looked like the shoe-in and O’Donnell the long shot. Perhaps her greatest accomplishment was organizing a political group SALT, “The Savior’s Alliance for Lifting the Truth.” Among topics O’Donnell would select for public speeches were naïve and highly doctrinaire views on human sexuality including sex out of wedlock and masturbation. All the while, her ability to manage her personal responsibilities proved elusive even having been sued for foreclosure and other debts. The IRS initiated a lien on her fiancés to recover $11,000 in unpaid taxes. On top of all that, her stated college credentials were not accurate.

One biographical detail showed where she apparently engaged in some kind of witchcraft ceremony as she revealed on an appearance on Bill Maher’s television show. This provided the ultimate source for all kinds of fun at the hands of political comedians. This led to the ultimate concise statement why Christine O’Donnell simply lacked any kind of political credibility when she appeared in a black dress against a black background for a campaign ad where she stated, “I am not a witch. I’m you.” That line would become the butt of many jokes through the campaign. At her best, she seemed like a shoddy Sarah Palin recreation, little wonder then, that Palin would find her attractive.

That she was defeated having received 40% of the vote that one would have to wonder how many of those votes were for her or were protest votes against the Democratic agenda, it appeared she would disappear from the headlines. Lo and behold, it would only stand to reason someone as inept as she would be likely to screw up using her campaign finances properly and in the closing days of 2010, headlines surfaced she was facing Federal grand jury investigation. Naturally, she claimed she was being setup and that Joe Biden was the instigator. What she fails to realize is she is most likely far too small a flea to be worthy of such.

The one transcendent good O’Donnell offers is that every bit of attention she draws helps demonstrate how unsuited for any roll in national politics Sarah Palin is worthy of. She and her Alaskan mentor are two of a kind to be sure – loud mouthed, naïve, and intellectually vapid.


LeBron James
LeBron James had it all, as one of the NBA’s top talents, he reached supreme stardom for his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, more recently, James indicated Akron was his hometown, and folks from Akron aren’t big fans of the larger Cleveland thinking that Clevelanders look down their nose at the lowly folks from Akron.

After a standout showing as one of the nation’s top high school players, James signed directly into the pros with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. It took little time for James to rise up as one of the league’s top stars possibly rivaling players like Kobe Bryant as the game’s top talent. Just as quickly as his star rose in the media so did his ability to attract controversy. While worthy of praise for his giving to charity, his lack of cooperation with teammates and others plus blatant self promotion quickly cast him as the poster child of the excessively indulgent overpaid star athlete completely devoid of any humility whatsoever right down to having a huge tattoo reading “Chosen 1.”

At the end of the 2010 season, LeBron James became a free agent and quickly sought to burn all bridges with the Cavaliers string them out while evaluating his options. As the ultimate expression of blind hubris, James announced that ESPN would provide him his own announcement program where he would announce the team for which he would play. To add insult to injury, he did not inform Cleveland of his decision to play for the Miami Heat until just moments before the broadcast.

Working in tandem with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, the threesome negotiated contracts with the Miami Heat to form the power nucleus that was supposed to ensure championships heading to the land of South Beach for years to come. To further the made publicity campaign, James, Wade, and Bosh arranged a huge coming out celebration where they would introduce themselves in a highly choreographed to hip-hop tastelessness show with multiple theatric gimmicks before an adoring crowd of screaming Miami fans.

The reaction in Cleveland, not the most mature sports fans in the nation, was swift and vicious supported by a wrathful open letter from the team’s owner bashing James for his decision. In some media circles the Cleveland fans were portrayed as something more than shunned lovers but as racist bigots infuriated by a young black man setting himself free from the plantation even getting Jesse Jackson involved.

Snooki and the Jersey Shore Gang
If anyone needs evidence that MTV is a sickly cancer eroding the moral fabric of America, we provide Snooki (Nicole Polizzi) and the rest of the ensemble of misfits, social dropouts, and dysfunctional youth elevated to cult hero status by this MTV “reality” program. The program follows these eight cretins horrible misrepresentations in many cases of Americans with Italian pedigree as they engage in their hedonistic, decadent lifestyles including Snooki’s addiction to exposure to ultraviolet rays as if there were some secret agenda to discover just how fast one can develop skin cancer in pursuit of a nauseating overdone tan. While perhaps too young to have a resume of failure akin to Christine O’Donnell this Chilean born, Italian raised train wreck aspires to be a veterinary technician but her greatest accomplishment would appear to be her July 30 arrest for public intoxication.

If pornography is material with absolutely no social redeeming value, “Jersey Shore,” is smut of the highest order. Like so many other MTV phenomenon of the past, we can only hope the ratings plummet only to see what the purveyors of puke will come of with next.

These ten figures by no means represent the complete list of scoundrels. Several others are worthy of attention including Nevada Senator Harry Reid, Washington Redskins coaching father and son combo, Mike and Kyle Shanahan, the ever present dufus face of the Obama administration, Robert Gibbs. Surely, Maryland Governor, Martin O’Malley, with his crass and dishonest reelection campaign for reelection loaded with boldfaced lies about Robert Ehrlich deserves notice. We’d also include wussy deluxe disposed coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Wade Wilson, but his situation involves greater villains than his meager ineptness. We fear that if such a list is composed for 2011, we might have to report on some Republican members of the 111th Congress who might squander the rewards granted by the voters. We went light on the media because while folks like Joy Behar deserve inclusion, where would we stop chronicling a parade of losers?

Sarah Palin: Thin-skinned as ever.

Few American figures are more beloved than Barbara Bush. She’s known for her folksy way of expressing herself and shooting straight from the hip unfiltered and unapologetically. So is it any wonder that in a Larry King interview when asked about Sarah Palin, the former first lady opined bluntly, “I wish she’d stay in Alaska.”

Naturally, in the next interview situation involving Sarah Palin, generally a daily occasion on Fox News or on programs by people closely associated with Fox News, she would be asked to react to Mrs. Bush’s remark. Laura Ingraham’s radio program provided just that forum.

The former governor of Alaska who attempts to cultivate an image for her straight talk said the following of the esteemed Barbara Bush:

"I don't want to concede that we have to get used to this kind of thing, because I don't think the majority of Americans want to put up with the blue-bloods -- and I want to say it will all due respect because I love the Bushes -- the blue-bloods who want to pick and choose their winners instead of allowing competition.”

How about that?

How much evidence does the public need that Sarah Palin is a lightweight, a classless moron, and one who lacks any kind of tact, humility, or ability to deal with criticism.

There are so many ways the Wasilla Wench could have responded to Mrs. Bush’s tart remark. Here are some suggestions.

“Laura, I really don’t want to comment on that.”

“Well, I really like Barbara Bush. I’m sorry I haven’t won her over yet.”

“Ouch, that hurts. Still ol’ Mrs. Bush doesn’t mince her words does she?”

In any case, this was a situation a mature public figure would have immediately sought to defuse and not intensify.

This also reveals how transparent Sarah Palin’s hypocrisy is. Sarah Palin would never miss a chance to criticize the Obama forces for fermenting a sense of class warfare, but what is she doing when a highly respected figure from a dedicated Republican family ruffles her big hairdo?

She appeals to a sense of class warfare between a perceived Republican establishment she chose to identify as blue bloods and that they somehow thwart the public will in some sense. It’s interesting to note where Palin backed candidates were ones drawing significant reservations from the so-called “establishment,” the results were a disaster.
Consider that there were at least three choices in Nevada who were quite capable of being Harry Reid whose defeat would have been a huge victory for American conservatism. Sharon Angle committed one embarrassing gaff after another showing a person truly not ready for prime time. The Republicans had a rare opportunity to pick up Delaware, a very liberal state, but the Palin factor brought in a total embarrassment, Christine O’Donnell, a candidate whose supposed resume was littered with patterns of irresponsible behavior and living proof she was not intellectually capable for the job.

Meanwhile, how embarrassing can it be to the Palin faction that they could win the primary in Alaska ousting incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowsi in favor of Joe Miller? Seeing what was in play and that so much of Palin’s intervention in the Alaskan primary was her personal vendetta against the Murkowski family, Ms. Murkowski chose to run as a write in candidate and it appears it’s just a matter of time for the appeals process to run its course and she will return to Washington as Alaska’s Senator.

Naturally, none of this is the way Sarah Palin would address these situations. It’s all about her and those who persecute her. She cannot refute substantive issues directed against her because quite frankly she lacks the intellectual capability to do so. As such her attacks consist of insulting her opponents or using sweeping generalities supporting her ideology to attempt to brand them.

For someone who makes a living insulting and belittling others, isn’t it amusing how every little insult finds Palin popping off screaming fowl and just like that every remark against her becomes a national story at least on Fox News and supportive talk show programs.

It’s a shame Fox News doesn’t recognize how their organization has been duped into being a persistent shill for Sarah Palin. While they may see ratings and advertising dollars in pandering to an audience willing to support Palin, it seriously compromises their integrity as “fair and balanced.”

Here’s to the former first lady, Barbara Bush. We couldn’t agree with her feelings more.

False Accusations Concerning Funding & the Obama Creed: If the Truth Hurts, LIE!!!

Barack Obama is a shameless liar. The issue this time involve charges that campaign ads run by the US Chamber of Commerce for Republican Candidates are being funded by foreign interests. Such comments were pronounced by the President when campaigning for the mercurial gubernatorial candidate, Martin O’Malley, in Maryland.

The President told the crowd, “So groups that receive foreign money are spending huge sums to influence American elections, and they won't tell you where the money for their ads come from..” Political dirty pool, in American justice the burden of proof is on the accuser; however, in the hands of greedy dishonest politicians, the game is played just the opposite to attempt to muddy the public’s opinion of a candidate who seemingly has done something wrong and thus would be expected to clarify the issue with the proper statement. Case in point, examine the cynical stunt employed against California’s Republican candidate for governor, Meg Whitman, by agenda driven, media hog lawyer, Gloria Allred in support of Jerry Brown’s campaign regarding issues surrounding an illegal alien employed by the Whitman family employed through a legit employment agency who obtained employment through presenting false documentation. Whitman was setup and screwed by Allred, yet the stunt moved the polls at least five points in Brown’s favor.

The Bible for political action for Democrat campaigns is clearly Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals where the ends always justify the means and the personal destruction of opponents is but one tactic in pursuit of such ends. Alinsky’s work has been the backbone of Obama’s strategizing since his community organizing work in Chicago.

That Barack Obama is so adverse to the Chamber of Commerce continues to support just how radical he is. The Chamber is a pro-business group that promotes programs and policies beneficial to economic growth. They are not a partisan group, but generally support Republicans whose positions are more advantageous to free enterprise. That Obama has a long record of going right after the organization and demonizing them in his speeches reinforces just how hostile Obama is to the commercial interests of our country as if profits and commercial growth are wicked goals. In fact, they are the basis for a growing and expanding economy. Is it any wonder the economy is so weak right now and business is so reluctant to pump up their activity?

The cold hard truth is the Republican voters of Delaware selected an idiot who got lots of support from Sarah Palin. Christine O’Donnell is not qualified to be a United States Senator. She lacks the life’s work, the necessary experience, and personal responsibility to represent herself much less the population of her state. It’s bad enough the Republican Party has to deal with the Wasilla Wench. Now it has the Delaware Dullard.

The Democrats were offering up this race to Republicans on a silver platter with a self-acknowledged Marxist, Chris Coons, who has shown himself to be the most lethal kind of Democrat as County Executive for New Castle County. He has a record of big spending, far exceeding budgets, and raising taxes. No one is a better portrait of the enemy America must defeat convincingly in November. However, leave it to the yokel class of the Republican Party to elect a cheap knockoff of Sarah Palin who has yet to show any greater mastery of American government, current issues, or mastery of the English language than to be able to simply recite from memory a bunch of worn out bumper sticker slogans.

So responsible voters are forced with the unthinkable choosing between a total imbecile or a Communist. What kind of choice is that?

The hard reality is intelligent voters must swallow their pride and vote for the imbecile because her main responsibility is to vote the party line and count as one member toward a Republican majority in the Senate. If she’s smart enough to know what affirmative and negative mean, she can probably be an effective drone for the GOP.

However, how can any intelligent person keep a straight face arguing this shrill little nitwit should be elected?

Rest assured, the Democrats will find every abnormal, embarrassing, or improper activity this pathetic dimwit has ever been involved with.

She even provided a classic faux pas that makes for great material for the comics. Like her roll model, Sarah Palin, she likes to invent words accusing Karl Rove of being “unfactual.”

She committed to appear on Fox News Sunday and another Sunday news program, then backed out claiming exhaustion and that she had “church” obligations and a picnic to attend saying she needed to stay close to the people in Delaware. If she is already exhausted, just wait until the rigors of the campaign set in, fortunately for her, Delaware is only 100 miles long from north to south with most of the population in the northern third of the state with some population along the northern part of its Atlantic coast. Truth be told, if she were interviewed on such a program, she would have been slaughtered even if questioned in a gentle, straight-forward objective manner. She carries way too much baggage and is way too inarticulate to field such questions to come across as confident and informed.

As Republicans and patriotic Americans who realize where the Obama administration and Democratic House and Senate are taking America, Delaware voters must suck up their pride and vote for Christine O’Donnell and pray she does not bring too much bad press too their marvelous state. Her task is to take orders and vote for Republican issues and to void the Democrats.

Remember, it’s all a numbers game. The first number is 51, the second is 60. The Republicans must win 51 seats to have a majority in the Senate and 60 seats to become filibuster proof. Winning a majority should be in reach, but having unqualified candidates who are easily exploited by the media such as Christine O’Donnell does not help. Regardless, Republicans, Independents, and Democrats who have seen the light must hold their nose with the fingers on one hand while voting for the Delaware Dullard with the other.

The Dirty Road Ahead

Penny Lee, a former consultant for Majority Leader, Harry Reid, presents herself as a smirkish, lying bitch. Is this how low the Democratic Party will go in sending out its talking heads to engage the media?

Lee is a fashionable blonde who engages the camera with big bright blue eyes and a glaring, sarcastic grin. Surely, there must be some calculation that a woman some would see as attractive and sexy is going to be especially effective lying through her huge white teeth.

In an interview with Juan Williams, a respected liberal journalist, she argued that the Republican Party and the Tea Party have become one and the same. The Tea Party is an extremist group. The Republicans favor privatizing social security and eliminating Medicare. Despite Williams’ questions to nail down specifics or pointing out the contradictions, Ms. Lee would not diverge in the slightest from her talking points. The idea must be constant repetition of nonsense will stick in the viewer’s mind better than insightful questions that rip her contentions apart.

Once again, the Democrats assume the public is stupid and easily swayed. Miss Lee is all style and no substance exhibiting less ability to think on her feet than even Sarah Palin does. What core is left is pure dishonesty that the slightest investigation would quickly refute.

Having watched Howard Dean explicitly lie about the Sharrod case on Sunday, several days after the episode hit the news media continued to insist that Fox News was responsible for helping to break the distorted, edited video of Ms. Sharrod’s commentary on race. In fact, the first mention of the episode on Fox was not until the “O’Reilly Factor” after the Obama administration had already fired her. By that time, the story was in the media mainstream. Fox reporters and anchors were ordered by their news director not to rush this story to broadcast wanting to be sure all due diligence was exercised in what could be a touchy situation. Nevertheless, on Fox News Sunday, Dean not only angrily tried to assert the lie once again, but after looking totally dumbfounded after host, Chris Wallace, articulated what actually happened, Dean attempted to repeat the lie before his segment ended.

Between these two episodes, a major component of the Democratic Party’s strategy is revealed. Their goal is to first, discredit Fox News, since it is the only major news source that regularly provides the Republican candidates a chance to articulate their issues and respond to their critics. Their technique to discredit Fox is the same tactic used to destroy their Republican opponents. They will make assertions with no other intent in mind that to disrupt their opponents by forcing them on the defensive having to refute the Democrat’s outrageous claims and reassert their positions. That their accusations are bold faced lies are of no consequence as long as they serve their strategic purpose of disrupting the Republicans from forwarding their campaign issues. In the radical world, truth and honor have no transcendent value. They seek to maintain and grow their power base. Given this is their end, any means that accomplishes that end is justifiable. The ends justify the means for Sol Alinsky followers. While facts are irrelevant, what their claims must do is be emotionally inflammatory and frightening. Doing so supports the faithful members of their political base, often folks who see themselves as victims the Democrat’s programs, entitlements, and earmarks are designed to address.

Republicans, independents, and all those who believe the truth matters must not let these bold faced lies, personal attacks, and vicious accusations go unchallenged. Mature, honest people must unite to throw these scoundrels out of office. This is no time for complacency or indifference.

As if John McCain’s campaign for President wasn’t the 15 minutes of fame, Sarah Palin has come back again and again for another fifteen minute shot and another and another and another. Enough already. Her fifteen minutes must be biblical minutes or somebody’s helped her evade the rule. Sarah, honey, your fifteen minutes are up. We even gave you a nice going away present, GO AWAY!!!!

Message to Republicans, Independents, and T-Partiers, it’s time to refudiate Sarah Palin. You’re being sucked in. The press and the Democrats have a wicked fascination with her. They can’t get enough of her and like the bully in the schoolhouse who pulls the nerdy girl with big glasses’ pig tails; they can’t stop picking on her. Oh, they’re picking on poor little Sarah again. We’ve got to defend our girl.

Well is she our girl because she really amounts to something, or is it because we feel compelled to defend anyone who runs afoul of the Democrat far left big media machine? It’s almost like that Islamic thing – the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

If Ms. Palin is going to be (GULP) a national leader, can’t she please talk like a grown up and not the slut on the high school cheerleader’s squad? We can at least expect her to speak like someone who has gone to college – but jeez! Cool it with the “gonna’s,” the “you-betcha’s,” the “why-doncha’s,” and “gotcha’s.”

Now Sarah Palin has weighed in on plans to erect a mosque near “ground zero” in lower Manhattan, an Islamic statement of conquest within the shadow of where the twin towers once stood. The gal who hunts moose and blasts wolves and Bambi from a helicopter up in Alaska has come to New York’s defense (or is it offense since she’s so offensive), but she tweeted (is that using technology or is she just a bird brain – as Fox News would say, we report – you decide)…. "Ground Zero Mosque supporters: doesn't it stab you in the heart, as it does ours throughout the heartland? Peaceful Muslims, pls refudiate."

Okay you big ugly Muslims, she’s gotcha right? New York, don’t you feel safer now? Hold on, “refudiate” why does this word have the red underline from spellchecker? Ooops, it’s not in the dictionary either – at least not yet. Could she mean “repudiate?” Maybe she means “refute?” Maybe she’s such a lump she just doesn’t know one way or another. Sarah, sweetie, you got some ‘splainin’ to do.

The Sarah do-do bird tweets again. Wait aren’t do-do’s extinct? Wishful thinking for this subspecies, by golly. She twits or tweets again or is she just a tweet, but in her own words: (in place of the previous post), “""Refudiate," "misunderestimate," "wee-wee'd up." English is a living language. Shakespeare liked to coin new words too. Got to celebrate it!"

Sarah does it again. There’s now “#ShakesPalin” in Twitter’s trending topics and “@ShakesPalin,” a Twitter account.

This led us to think of Sarah Palin as a Shakespearean character. How about Lady Macbeth, Gertrude, my fair Kate, Ophelia, Desdemona, or even Cleopatra?? Cleopatra, she did some crazy things with snakes didn’t she? Hold on, Shakespeare’s characters are complex, multidimensional, and nuanced whether heroine of villainess. These ladies of lore are far too sophisticated for the Caribou Barbie. Maybe the nutty old nurse from Romeo and Juliet? She’s loud and shrill, a bit of a goof. Once again, we’d be shaming old Bill from Avon to make that association.

Shakespeare might come to the rescue after all, representing darkness (as in an Alaskan winter), chaos (what follows Ms. Palin everywhere she goes) and conflict (‘nuff said on that one), in Macbeth Act 1.1, we meet the witches or the three weird sisters. For some one as whacked out as Sarah Palin, we’d need a Shakespearean trio!!!

Well, “Bubble-bubble, toil and trouble, by gosh.” Does that now answer another question, why so many Americans have been duped into following this wonder from the northlands? They’re all under the spell of witchcraft.

Meanwhile, the theater department is having trouble with their first attempt to perform ShakesPalin – something about the leading lady and trying to put lipstick on a pig.

Barack Obama: How Race and Other Issues Reveal Why His Efforts Must Fail

July is usually a quiet time for national news but a week after the nation celebrated the 234th anniversary of its independence, at what time in our history has our nation been threatened and the promises of the Declaration of Independence put in such peril than under the corrupt, incompetent, and radically doctrinaire conduct of the Obama administration supported by the reckless and crassly self-serving political conduct of the Senate under Harry Reid’s leadership and the House led by speaker Nancy Pelosi?

The essential promises of limited government and self determination, the pursuit of certain inalienable rights, are systematically being corrupted, denied, destroyed and turned inside out by a President who is completely disconnected with what being American is all about spending much of his formative years overseas only to ally himself with the most radical elements of academia before plunging into the wicked and corrupt world of Chicago machine politics. Whether by upbringing, intent, or calculation, Barack Obama is an anti-American extremist set on destroying the people and institutions that maintain our unique and free standard of living.

Piece together the puzzle and it would be reasonable to conclude the Barack Obama and his administration, particularly Attorney General, Eric Holder, have an implicit anti-white particularly white male agenda where white men, and to a lesser extent white women, who do not belong to a labor union are either neglected or exploited for their ability to pay for his extravagant spending programs if their means can be sucked into some “tax the rich” or stick it to private enterprise scheme.

Here are the pieces to the puzzle we’ve seen recently. First, the extent to which the Administration has attempted to demonize and exploit Arizona’s efforts to deal with the upheaval illegal aliens have created throughout the state rendering parts of the state virtually uninhabitable. When Arizona first attempted to pass legislation to coordinate its efforts to deal with illegal aliens coordinated with Federal law, the administration was quick to scream, racism while on the Sunday morning news program schedule, it became clear the Obama officials had not read the legislation and truly had no idea what it contained. This week, the Obama administration filed an injunction to overturn the state’s law in Federal Court.

The administration chose not to prosecute members of the New Black Panther Party engaged in voter intimidation at polls in Philadelphia during the last Presidential election. Party members in uniform brandished weapons and shouted taunts at voters entering the polling place. Meanwhile, ACORN had been involved in registering numerous illegal voters who the Panthers essentially provided cover for through their tactics. J. Christian Adams, a former Justice Department prosecutor provided shocking testimony of how his office had the case wrapped up against the Panthers to where all was left for the judge to issue sanctions at which point the Obama administration pulled the plug. In the course of these revelations, the implication was clear – to the radical Obama regime, voter intimidation is defined as white against minority behavior. How convenient is it that the behavior of the black-supremacist New Black Panthers forwards the Obama agenda?

Written into the financial “reform” legislation the Administration and Capitol Hill leadership has rushed through includes policy receiving almost no press coverage creating diversity czars, an Office of Minority and Women Inclusion in all levels of Federal finance agencies including the Federal Reserve in an attempt to radically politicize these departments using the race card to forge their anti-white, anti-free enterprise agenda. This issue was largely revealed by a Wall Street Journal Editorial. In an arena where the absolute best, most competent, non-agenda driven, unbiased professionals are needed, once again, Obama’s forces are attempting to transform the status quo and reward their adherents.

In a queer sort of way, the announcement that making Islam feels good about itself for its historic role in math and science as the highest priority at NASA rather than any technological or mission-stated accomplishments plays right into the racial tactics of the administration as well. Is there any reason NASA needs specifically to reach out to the world of Islam to be successful. Surely, cancelling the mission designed to replace the Space Shuttle program which will end the United States’ ability to put manpower into low earth orbit after the next two Space Shuttle flights have concluded moves our nation from the leader in space exploration to largely that of a spectator.

Can it be any clearer in the second year of the radical Obama administration that the idealistic talk of movement toward a “post racial” society and that Obama himself was the embodiment of the end of racial division in our society was nothing more than an agenda driven smokescreen?

Strip away rhetoric to the contrary. Look at the behavior and the results, how could a President be any more divisive than what Barrack Obama’s efforts have proven to be? Whether it is his cynical, calculated efforts refusing to effectively enforce immigration law while demonizing Arizona a anti-Latino racists, the constant refrain attacking various professions and statuses which would appear to be the domain of successful white men, or supporting radical black factions or even going so far as appointing some such as Van Jones, a confessed Marxist, the true agenda is one that uses division as an exploitive means to attempt to get certain factions to lock in support in the game of identity politics.

It’s not like the American people didn’t have plenty of warning before voting for such a detestable and dangerous figure even with such fawning admiration and idolatry from the mainstream press who could not completely keep the lid on Obama’s association with figures like Jeremiah Wright whose profession has been feeding on exploiting racial division or William Ayers, a major figure in the radical movement of 1960’s committed to the destruction of the American system and capitalism as we know it.

When one thinks back to Rush Limbaugh’s admission he wanted Obama to fail, all right thinking Americans must surely unite behind a determined stance that Obama policies and attempts to re-engineer the architecture of our country must fail too. The American people must recognize that Barack Obama isn’t simply a poor leader; he’s a very dangerous President who must be rendered incapable of pushing his agenda on even a small scale. His dangerous policies have completely destroyed the financial stability of our country selling our future to the likes of the totalitarian interests of the Chinese and Saudi Arabians, radically extended the reach of the Federal government, shown gross favoritism to organized labor as so clearly demonstrated by how General Motors and Chrysler were nationalized giving favor a tremendous controlling stake in the results, destroyed the manned space program, and weakened America against its enemies. When leadership was required to deal with a national disaster, the administration proved itself incapable of establishing and executing effective action to control the BP oil well catastrophe. Where government action is required to resolve dangerous situations from the Arizona border to the gulf coast, Obama’s incompetence, lack of experience, and clouded vision blinded by ideological not pragmatic thinking result in dangerous situations becoming historic crises. Our nation will be in extreme danger until Obama is removed from the Presidency in the 2012 presidential elections. In the meantime, changing the power balance of congress, using the court system, non-violent revolution, media saturation, and outright defiance will be required to stop the most dangerous President in United States history whose promise of transforming America has shown alarming results so far – some by design and some by not being capable of dealing with situations where effective Presidential leadership is mandatory. Think of how the Gulf oil catastrophe will transform our future.

Threats Against Census Workers and Glenn Beck

Are you proud of yourself, Glenn Beck? In the two years Glenn Beck has had his 5:00 pm program on Fox News Network, he has been stirring up raw emotions about some kind of apocalyptic judgment day coming when the American people and the ever intrusive government will have a day of reckoning.

While Glenn Beck certainly has identified some of the worst scoundrels in the Obama administration and called them out for what they really are – radical leftists, and he also notes the extent to which the Obama administration and Democratic party dominated congress have taken tremendous strides toward making government more all-powerful and obtrusive, he has done so in such a way that transcends legitimate concerns about real issues and real people into a kind of paranoid manic mindset stoking the worst fears in his fans and viewers always cleverly manipulating a third element, the natural fear of the unknown.

While the census might be a minor, a very minor nuisance, it is important that all citizens complete the form and return it. Not to do so is self-defeating a lesson that is lost on pseudo-know-it-all’s like Glenn Beck. Congressional districts are apportioned based on the census enumeration. If a citizen wants his or her district adequately represented, then it would be incumbent on that person to make sure he or she is counted and that others in the community are as well. The census in nothing arbitrary or some ploy dreamed up by the infamous shadowy progressive conspirators whom Beck constantly stirs up as the boogey men behind all that is wrong today. The census is, in fact a product of those sacred founding fathers – the same guys Beck has reinvented to be like-minded practitioners of his notion of deity, morality, and paranoid politics. Glenn Beck encourages his viewers to study the Constitution. He should do the same and consider Article One, Section Two, paragraph 3.

If Beck is looking for a scapegoat for the inconvenience or intrusion of having to participate in the census, his fall guy should be James Madison not Woodrow Wilson. In light of his hostile ranting and ravings about the Census, his false accusations, and mischaracterizations only serve to stir up a hostile climate his true believers might subject legitimate census workers to have to deal with. Like it or not, they are simply people hired to do a job.

Surely, anyone who is familiar with the manner by which the Obama administration handles itself, the public should be very suspicious of how it uses census data to further its political aims. Likewise, the extent to which factions like Acorn or what Acorn has morphed into are involved in any aspects of the census particularly if it involves the accumulation and reportage of data should be carefully watched for signs of abuse and manipulation.

The bottom line is the public is well-served by a government having good, objective information about the public at large, and as long as the data is kept confidential and is gathered in a professional, impartial way, the citizens of the United States should participate in good faith as best they can.

Where there might be abuse in the process, if some administrators are not following proper procedures, inflating or deflating numbers, or engaged in anything that creates an inaccurate or misleading census, that is an issue worthy of much exploration.

Regardless, the Constitution has empowered Congress to make law to determine how the Census is conducted.

Absolutely nothing involved with the 2010 Census justifies that any citizen behave in a confrontational or uncivil manner toward anyone employed to assist with the census count. Should a census agent not act professionally or seem incapable of rendering the responsibilities demanded of the job, then such conduct should be reported to the appropriate authorities.

There are two big takeaways from today’s discussion. First, the Census is a necessary tool to the functioning of our free society. Second, here is yet another issue that demonstrates why Glenn Beck is a dangerous and seditious voice whose view of the issues and his attempts to influence public opinion are horribly misguided and potentially dangerous. His employer, Fox News must accept some responsibility for having some of its program content create a hostile environment harmful to census workers.

If Fox News seeks to be the nation’s preeminent news source, they cannot afford to have failed entertainers posing as knowledgeable pundits stirring up rancor over false issues for the sake of cheap ratings success. As long as figures like Glenn Beck and Geraldo Rivera are presented as veritable members of the Fox News cast, they are cheapening their product and integrity in the news business.

South Carolina Democrats' Senatorial Primary -- If You Don't Like the Results, CHANGE THEM!!!

Alvin Greene -- S.C. Democrat Candidate for Senate

In last week’s primary, South Carolina Democrats elected Alvin Greene as their Senatorial nominee to run against Republican Senator Jim DeMint. Greene has no political experience, is jobless, and has pornography charges standing against him. He lives in his father’s basement. The porn charges stand from showing dirty pictures to a girl in a college library.

Vic Rawl lost the election having campaigned lightly for the office. Rawl is a prominent member of the South Carolina legislature.

Now Senator James Clyburn is suggesting the election results should be tossed because he accuses that the computer voting system must have been hacked though offers no evidence whatsoever to support his contention.

Meanwhile, the South Carolina election committee found no grounds for any difficulties either with how the election was conducted or the soundness of the equipment used.

The Democrats seem to be advancing the proposition once again that if they don’t like their available candidate or election results, change the rules. How can America forget the prolonged agony our country went through because Al Gore would not accept the obvious electoral results in Florida in the 2000 Presidential election? Because they thought one locality’s ballot was not designed to their liking they were entitled to some special considerations that would have nullified the will of the voters. George W. Bush won plain and simple.

In New Jersey 2002, the incumbent Senator, Bob Torricelli won the June primary election to run for a second term as Senator. Torricelli was indicted on Federal corruption charges. Fearing this would cost the Democrats the election facing such charges all but assuring a Republican victory for Doug Forrester, the Democrats under the corrupt Corzine administration, changed the law allowing them to cite special circumstances allowing Frank Lautenberg to run for the seat. Given that the original election law provided for no method for handling such a situation, the law was upheld. Yes, New Jersey is famous for its corruption as their crony appointments to their court system clearly show.

We’ll now follow the South Carolina saga and see what kind of bizarre efforts and ridiculous attempts to reassign the blame for what was their voters (although almost certainly ignorant of the candidates) intent.

Democracy works fine for the Democrats as long as it provides the results they need. Rational minds must clearly see that any attempt to toss out the results of an election because one party or candidate does not like the results a dangerous threat to the democratic process.

In all three of these cases, the sympathetic news media did not report the entire scope of what was at stake in these elections instead making those on the losing end who were compatible with their political biases look deserving of special attention. When we see that Major League Baseball would not overturn a blown umpire call costing a pitcher a perfect game, baseball, fun and games compared to politics, understands messing around with established rules and results is risky business. The slimy opportunism, dishonestly, and total lack of guiding ethical principles demonstrated by the Democratic party reveals what their true character is all about. Once again they reveal that accomplishing their desired end, extending their grasp on power, justifies the means no matter how unsavory, corrupt, unethical, and possibly illegal their means could be.

We don't question Sarah Palin's stance on most issues. We question her judgment, her ability to reason, her intellectual ability, emotional maturity, and ability to deal with nuances and subtle distinctions inherent in complex issues.

She's been on a tear again this past week, first hitting the campaign trail in Arizona to help John McCain's senatorial re-election bid. Then it was off to Nevada, Harry Reid's home town to serve as keynote speaker for a tea party gathering.

Her shrill recitation of talk-show conservative bumper sticker lines might serve well to stir up a crowd of blood thirsty citizens fearful of the state of the United States economy, angry about the seizure of the American medical system and how the Democratic party thrust it upon the country, and the ever increasing roll of the nanny state. While she might be able to recite the headlines, she can't tell the story. She can't provide any analytic or creative perspective. Everything is in slogan ready headline form, easily shouted to a crowd, but where's the rest?

Where's the rest for a person who is supposed to be a leader who does not complete choosing for nebulous reasons to resign?

Where's the maturity and sophistication differentiating between truly sick abuse and just the routine abuse a figure of his stature would endure from the "lame stream" media?

A true leader must walk the walk, talk the talk, and show some mature judgment. Examine the photo that accompanies this article and decide for yourself if this is anyway for a person who seeks to be respected and seen as something more than a simplistic rube from the wilderness of Alaska. Would anyone from a school's PTA President to a Corporate Executive to a television commentator get away dressed like a biker chick or a dominatrix?

Hell no! It's all about showing mature judgment? For a person who some champion for her "common" touch what seems so lacking in her whole presentation since we first met her late in the summer of 2008 is common sense.

The sooner Sarah Palin gets out of the way the better. For Americans who believe in limited government, a constitutional democracy, and cannot accept the quasi-socialist attempt to transform American society thrust upon us by the Obama Administration and Pelosi led House of Representatives, strong leadership with a mature logical voice is desperately needed. That voice is not the shrill whining of the former governor of Alaska.

The last person in the world opponents for the health care debate need on their side is Sarah Palin. While if she were a responsible intelligent voice which clearly she is not, she could surely look at her situation as the mother of a “special needs” child as having specific concerns that President Obama’s Government takeover of health care could severely impact. However, being the irresponsible and intellectually challenged voice she is, her overstatement and demagoguery is exactly the kind of fodder forces on the left can use to mischaracterize responsible health care opponents and use her remarks to characterize opponents as a bunch of misinformed extremist yahoos.

Calling what would amount to the government rationing authorities as the “Obama death panel” might work as a good rallying cry for some health care opponents but it is such a blatant attempt at demagoguery and overstatement, her remarks take on a life of their own and take the focus off the real issues of the debate.

The momentum against the President’s socialized scheme is tremendous; however, responsible critics need to be careful not to give the sympathetic press any handles they can grab upon to bludgeon the movement. Sarah Palin’s shrill, obnoxious gift for appealing to raw emotion perhaps because she isn’t intellectually gifted enough to express it any other way, once again makes her the issue, and the last thing in the world the movement to preserve private sector health care needs is her to get embroiled on a meaningless side issue that gathers too much of the attention. What has been so impressive about the anti-government takeover forces is how truly nonpartisan the membership has become full of independents and even some Democrats who find Palin abhorrent for far different reasons than we have been discussing.

The left wing media rebuke of Palin has been swift and furious. So is ours. Sadly, every time Palin gets in trouble far too many Republican and Conservative voices who are more often than not right on message wind up defending her increasing the heat behind making her the issue.

There is no question Sarah Palin has been the subject of some of the most vicious and dishonest abuse of any public history in recent history. However, increasingly, those who might be inclined to support her need to examine the kind of character she presents and how she brings a lot of it on herself and that if she had the real material for leadership, she’d be able to find a way above the fray rather than constantly wallowing in the mud pit fighting it.

“Death panel” might be the kind of red meat rhetoric that function well for the most extreme right wing talk show hosts might use to inflame listeners and gather ratings, it is not the kind of talk that a person who aspires to be a major voice in American politics should resort to invoking.

Officially, Sarah Palin quit the platform, the official position that gave her credibility to speak on the issues having resigned as governor of Alaska. Having not even served one term and only having background in small posts like Mayor of Wasilla makes her little more qualified than a high school educated small market flame throwing talk show host who wouldn’t know a college level political science course if it bit him or her on the butt.

Palin’s timing couldn’t be worse. Her idiotic remarks overlapped the news cycle where President Obama conducted an absurd staged town hall meeting guaranteeing him a respectful, civil audience where his lies and outrageous assertions should be taking up the news space.

The sooner Sarah Palin becomes a fluke of the 2008 election and is but a small footnote in America’s political history the better. It’s time for conservatives to let their intellect not their emotions consider what her presence in the national debate means.
