"To provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans and reduce
the growth in health care spending, and for other purposes."
Don't you love the part about other purposes? This mess is 1017 pages long. Over the next few days, we will examine some of the most significant provisions of the bill so there can be no mistaking, it's right in the text, these are no claims of lobbyists or "Republican extremists."
Of course, what do average Democrats know whether something is in the bill or are simply critics' claims when they won't read the bill.
Perhaps this measure could best be described as legislataive pornography for it is truly obscene.
