NFL 2009: Week 13 -- Random Thoughts

So much for long range forecasts. Winter snuck up out of nowhere this week with snow as far south as Houston this weekend. The dreaded white stuff can be seen from parts of Georgia to New England. It looked like the Ravens would escape the frozen tundra for Monday night's game in Green Bay. Temperatures should be in the 20's, a far cry from how bad it can be in Green Bay, Wisconsin in December, but there could be a snow shower!
The match ups aren't quite as intense this week; however, there are a couple that match up possible playoff teams as Minnesota travels to Arizona and the Dallas Cowboys attempt to prove they can win in December facing the New York Giants in East Rutherford. Atlanta plays Philadelphia, a game Atlanta must win to stay in the hunt.
Whatever was wrong with Pittsburgh, it's unlikely that would be apparent as they head up the road to Cleveland.
