Stuart Smiley's New Gig -- Say it Ain't So!!!!

Al Franken is the elected Senator of Minnesota by ruling of a three judge panel citing that the foul-mouth comic and failed left-wing talk show host won election by 312 votes and should be certified as winner. Regardless, the issue is not dead from challenger and former Senator, Norm Coleman, who indicated he will continue his appeal to the Minnesota Supreme Court. Beyond that, an appeal to the United States Supreme Court remains a possibility.

That a hateful demagogue and stone-faced liar like Franken could even be mentioned as a possibility as a United States Senator is terrifying. If name calling and sarcasm qualifies a person to hold elected office, this disgusting twerp is well-qualified.

Short of successful engagement from the legal system, Al Franken or Stuart Smiley if you prefer is now the junior senator from Minnesota and our country is the worse for it.

Any objective study of how the election was conducted and the clear custody of ballots was handled raises serious concerns about the integrity of the results. How standards for counting and recounting were altered after the election had taken place is further a matter of question.

If there’s any reassurance to be found in this horrible fiasco it is that if one believes a creep like Franken would have to cheat to be elected and couldn’t win a sane, fair election, that would still remain the correct assumption.

May Al Franken prove to be the embarrassment and shame for who he is the Democratic party deserves. He has added a new even more disturbing element to the party’s race to the far socialistic left.
