More Political Correctness Gone Wild

Noted Italian explorer not welcome at Ivy League School.

Brown University will no longer honor Columbus Day. They will simply have a day off on the schedule called "Fall Weekend."

In radical left revisionist history, Christopher Columbus, the bold explorer who believed the world was round and set off to the east far beyond any known horizon, is a villain for his finding the New World instead of India, hence native-Americans being called "Indians" for hundreds of years.

Apparently two-thirds of the Brown student body voted to agree with the change citing Columbus's harsh treatment of Indians (oops) Native Americans is not consistent with Brown University values.
