Real Life Angels in the Outfield Story in California

Will Rudolph scores!!! No ordinary feat. (Mercury News)
With some of the worst in sports surfacing in the past week, two competitors suspended from their sports for substance abuse, a hockey player being injured from being sucker-punched by another player, and good old Mark Cuban being Mark Cuban again, it’s good to see that the spirit of competition can show a tremendous heart. We refer you to a story in Mercury News, from Silicon Valley, California. Meet Will Rudolph, a pinch runner for Carmel High School playing Gonzalez High. Rudolph is a young man afflicted with cerebellar ataxia, a mild form of cerebral palsy which causes motor skills, balance, and speech difficulties. We'll simply tell you that this tale had a happy ending. Read the rest of the story for a tale that will restore a little hope seeing that real human goodness is alive and well on this high school ball field in California.
