Middle East Madness
Barack Obama has not only abandoned one of the United States most sacred allies but is also pursuing an absolutely dangerous agenda in demanding that Israel should return to its 1967 borders.
How is it that Israel expanded beyond those 1967 boundaries? Because they were attacked by surrounding Arab nations. They were plunged into a war they did not provoke and in the process clobbered their opponents in defense of their homeland. That their victory provided the opportunity to acquire more land to make their population more secure with more defensible boundaries only seems just.
The key prize in this dispute is Jerusalem, the great holy city and capital of the Israeli state. East Jerusalem, which under Obama’s concocted notion would be surrendered to Palestine. Including in this section of the city are the most sacred sites to both Jewish and Christian worshippers. Though Israel is a Jewish State, they respect the rights of other religions. Turn it over to Palestine and see what respect is shown Christians and Jews who seek to find their spirituality in their most sacred space.
That Hamas and Hezbollah, both terrorist groups, are the two main political factions within Palestine drives home what fateful dilemmas the nation of Israel deals with every day. Surrounded by factions that have pledged to their destruction, one of the most civilized, highly educated societies attempts to continue a sustainable quality of life for its citizens.
If Obama’s radical plans were forced upon them, Israel could be doomed. There is no bargaining with terrorists. What good do concessions to those who are pledged to Israel’s destruction do for the nation’s survival?
Terrorism is a day-to-day fact of life in Israel. Israel has made many concessions to Palestine while they continue to be attacked from Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza. How can the President of the United States, in good conscience continue demand Israel surrender more?

A Picture Worth a Thousand Words, but Not Showing it Might Speak Volumes About Who We Are
America debates whether death photos of Bin Laden should be punished while Sarah Palin shoots of mouth causing severe collateral damage once again.
We applaud the Obama administration for taking the high road and not releasing photographs of Osama Bin Laden’s corpse with his brains blown out. No matter how the administration handles any aspect of the very necessary act of ridding the planet of one of history’s great villains, some will let hatred, ideology, politics and their own stupidity stand in the way of mature responsible judgment. There is little to be gained gloating over photos of the Bin Laden extermination. The vermin is gone, and we rejoice the world is ridded such scum. We don’t marvel over photos of flies we’ve swatted, why does Bin Laden deserve any more accommodation than an insect?
Naturally, one of America’s great high profile political voices with little more than insectile intellect, Sarah Palin would be quick to leap on the issue being quick to use Twitter for her mindless knee jerk rants on issues she is motivated to pop off on writing: Show photo as warning to others seeking America’s destruction. No pussy-footing around, no politicking, no drama; it’s part of the mission.”
Sarah Palin has an uncanny knack for travelling the low road and rely on smirky, immature insults regardless of the situation at hand. The notion that Palin could ever take the high road seems about as probable as a school of fish holding a bicycle race.
Almost moments after the report of Bin Laden’s death, hate merchant – fear monger, Alex Jones, the infamous 9/11 “truther,” fanatic “birther,” a dope so ridiculous to even believe that fluoride used in drinking water is being used purposely by the Chinese for sinister intent, was quick to cast doubt whether the extermination had taken place. It would have been easy to write the script for what this scum-infested media fire-breather would opine on the subject based on his past rants and tirades. Can folks start to imagine how Donald Trump the alpha-demagogue bully will state his views on this historic event?
It’s not hard to imagine that Obama’s refusal to produce the pictures as supposed proof certain of Bin Laden’s death will not produce outcries similar to his reluctance to produce his birth certificate. The usual conservative talking heads all insist that the photos should be produced. Why should we show any sensitivity those in the Islamic world who hate us anyway and would want to destroy us regardless?
This citizen is satisfied that the Navy Seals carried out their mission and that they ridded the mortal world of a damnable villain. The counter logic of conspirators is the same old crap they always produce. Under any circumstances, there will be those who question the authenticity of whatever evidence we produce or the circumstance, time, date, place, and manner of destroying the wicked corruptor of Islam and genocidal madman.
We don’t reveal the pictures because we are decent people who don’t engage in vicarious visual necrophilic fantasies. That Sean Hannity would say something as sick as “We paid to have Bin Laden killed, we deserve to see the pictures.” Some suggest we need to see the pictures to bring closure. That we treat the vilest and filthy scum to have walked the earth with a sense of human decency reflects the very goodness we possess that Bin Laden was sworn to destroy.
This is no time to particularly praise Barack Obama. He did his job. If there is a sworn enemy of the United States who killed 3000 plus Americans on the loose, it is the President’s job to see that such a debase criminal is hunted down and destroyed. Finding Bin Laden was not an easy task and certainly if the circumstances were handled properly at Tora Bora in 2001, the deed would have been done sooner. It would be a lot easier for a President to screw up such an operation than to make it happen. The correct decision was to send a special ops force to do the job, the most difficult of all options, not wiping out the compound through bombing or a well-placed cruise missile.
Being honest means we recognize the President for fulfilling an essential part of his job description. There was nothing brilliant about his decision, nothing brave, just necessary. The Navy Seals, their sacrifice, the endurance, the practice, and hard work, deserve our most profound gratitude.
We also feel it necessary to take a powerful shot at those who are playing the self-righteous mumbo jumbo game with this event. Those who suggest that our celebrating the death of Bin Laden is unjustified or uncivilized simply don’t live in a real world where there is good and evil. Those who suggest the toss or taking of ANY human life is tragic simply don’t live on this mortal plain. Those who would argue we should have done more to capture Bin Laden – that if we could have captured him, we should have taken great effort to do so live in some Pollyanna world where they simply cannot come to terms with the pure evil of killing 3000 Americans. These people aren’t taking any philosophical high road nor do they possess higher moral standards than those of us who were cheering with excitement upon the hateful bastard’s death. They are naïve fools who could never run a nursery school much less set the moral tone for the most powerful nation on earth.
Bin Laden’s death is one step toward winning the war on Islamic terrorism. The best picture of all is one recognizing that the real living image of Osama Bin Laden will never be seen again. May the sharks and sea creatures feast on his corpse.
The world is a better place than it was on Saturday, no matter how boldly or minutely Bin Laden’s death changes things for the better.

Islam is a Religion of Mercy???
So Islam is a religion of mercy? BALONEY Just for fun, check how many times the word "punish" is used in their sacred text for which non-believers could be put to death for possessing, The glorious Koran.
Here's the tale of a protest in Afghanistan who the United States liberated from the rotten ultra-Muslim Taliban. Rumors concerning a Florida preacher who was going to stage a Koran burning protest in anniversary of 9/11 got distorted to Islam believers -- hence the sanction for extreme violence including the slaughter of eight foreigners, some U.N. workers in Mazar-i-Sharif, Aghanistan.
REFERENCE STORY: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/04/01/seven-killed-koran-burning-protest-headquarters-afghanistan/
The politically correct crowd and media say moderate Muslims don't condone such behavior. Let's hope so. However, why do we never hear strong Islamic voices condemning the long list of Muslim atrocities such as the event referenced here, terrorist attacks, "honor" killings, and other acts of lethal violence.
One need look no further than the founder of Islam, Mohammad. He's one of the real bastards of world history for sure. His roll should be defined more in line with Attila the Hun and Genghis Khan surely not Jesus and Buddha.

MEXICO -- Our Next War
The saga of the Southwest Border is out of control. Illegal immigrants flood in the America unchecked, areas along the Mexican border in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California are garbage strewn wastelands, the result of criminal intruders' passing through. Parts of our country are truly occupied territory by lawless intruders -- government land in Mexico with warnings for real citizens not to trespass. Brutal violence is a daily occurrence just feet over the line from America's border cities like El Paso and Laredo. Phoenix, Arizona leads the United States in kidnapping almost all of it Mexican gang related. Pure terrorism flourishes at our doorstep.
Meanwhile, over the border, a few hundred miles south of the United States, Ford Motor Company operates one of its most important assembly lines essentially deported from their home company by greedy labor unions that priced themselves and hence domestic manufacturing out of existence. Tourist attractions like Cancun and Cabo continue to haul in the tourists. Around the nation's capital, Mexico City, are palaces of great wealth and fortune. Those images stand in stark contrast to what exists along the nation's northern territory where lawless drug cartels rule and what facsimile there is of supposed law enforcement is instead little more than a corrupt shakedown operation often praying on naive American motorists. Mass murder, torture, and pure lawless is the law of the land. Weapons flow in like a steady river from north of the border as contraband drugs flow north.
No one is safe in the land of lawlessness. Recently, a young couple from Colorado was jet skiing along a border waterway, the husband was murdered by Mexican thugs. Now an American college professor visiting her elderly mother in the border town of Ciudad Juarez intersecting El Paso, Texas was kidnapped by a gang of armed thugs.
REFERENCE POST: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/03/12/professor-kidnapped-mexican-border-city/
How bad is it? At least 39 United States citizens were murdered in the thug infested city of 1.3 million residents. Torture, mutilation and decapitation are standard fare. Their brutality is absolutely as severe Islamic extremists except the Mexican thugs aren't about to kill themselves when they can kill others without consequence. In 2010, there were 3,075 homicides in Juarez, approximately 229 per 100,000 citizens. By contrast, Baltimore, Maryland, a city plagued with urban violence endured 223 murders for the entire year in a city half the size of the Mexico murder ward. In Mexico, the drug cartel rules twenty four/seven with the terrorists in control.
The cold hard truth is with one footstep across the border from the United States into Mexico, a person crosses into a chaotic land of pure lawlessness much more like the pure anarchy of Somalia than anything resembling an elected republic.
Worse, all the elements of terrorism, lawlessness and murder continue to get worse at an alarming rate with an ever accelerating degree of viciousness. The struggle to keep it contained in Mexico continues to be more and more difficult.
No matter what the national government of Mexico attempts to do, all efforts are futile in its north frontier. American border agents are overwhelmed in part to Washington indifference. The longer both governments fail to weed out and destroy the cartels, the more the inevitable becomes clear. At a time when border agents are charged with murder for acting in self-defence while politics and political correctness rule supreme, the enemy of the American and Mexican people are growing stronger, getting bolder, conquering more area as their home turf.
While immigration reform is important to take care of the US side of the border, only armed force along the entire southern frontier will keep the thugs from entering the United States, but what will it take to go right to the belly of the beast -- to eradicate the insurrection, to kill the vicious enemies of civilization hell bent on making all of northern Mexico one huge killing field?
The time for decisive action is long past due, the Obama administration and legislators from both parties seem lost in denial while states in the line of fire find all their actions increasingly futile without Federal support.
The march of death moves on. How many will be beaten, tortured, and murdered today? We're running out of tomorrows to fix the problem.

Gadhafi's Final Act Confirms -- A Genocidal Maniac of Historic Proportions
Moammar Gadhafi is butcherig his own people ordering his Air Force to kill Libyan civilians from their fighters. Two fighters have bolted to Malta rather than fire on their own people. Hundreds have been slaughtered. Not since Tiananmen Square has a government unleashed brutality on its own people on a scale this great though Iran sure has tried. The oil rich country, one of the earliest supporters of Arab terrorism and Locherbie airline explosion, could be facing all-out civil war as the Libyan military is increasingly splitting from its leadership leaving Gadhafi paid mercenaries to his dirty work. For a dictator who has been lying low for the last couple decades, having American cruise missiles aimed at him might have had something to do with that, the Libyan tyrrant is going all out to live up to the worst of his reputation vowing to die fighting. Clearly, the rebels would be happy to expedite his fate.
How disturbing it is that the White House has been all but mute on this massacre not calling the master of genocide out for his slaughter. Even Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton conspicuously avoided mention of this fiend in her remarks on the violence.
Where is American moral leadership in yet another episode in the Muslim world where the most fundemental of human rights are being oppressed with intense lethal force. The Obama administration can't play nice when geocide marches on. If the United States is to have any hope of ever establishing constructive relationships with a post-Gadhafi Libya, this is no way to do it.
We pray for the survivors of the Tripoli terror and hope justice will prevail.

MORE MOSQUE: Project Backers Will Not Rule Out Funds from Saudi Arabia and Iran
The mosque project gets uglier by the day. ABC News reports money from Iran and Saudi Arabia. The contradictions the possibility of this Mosque raises get trickier all the time. For the technical issue of Freedom of Religion if it applies to this situation, it is in defense of an organization that persecutes women and non-believers and openly works to deny religious freedom to Jews, Christians, Hindus and Bahai's.
ABC News Report: (click for ABC's report)
No good will come from the Mosque being built. We must unite to stop it. If Nancy Pelosi accusing people like us as being "conspirators" doesn't motivate us further, what will?

Another Terrorist Episode: Another Radical Islam Mission

With the arrest Faisal Shahzad, a 30 year old American citizen from Pakistan, for being the prime suspect in Saturday’s bombing attempt at Time Square, once again the ugly specter of Islamic terrorism is at hand. Shahzad had returned to America after several months in Pakistan, presumably learning bomb making. Evidence shows a likely Taliban connection. Is it also possible the proximately to Viacom Headquarters after the South Park episode ridiculed Mohammed might come into play?
We know enough to rule out other sources and know that some strain of the extreme violent strain of the Muslim religion is at it again. There is no value to those who believe other than their murderous creed. Human life has no value. All those who stand in their way are to be destroyed.
We are at war with radical Islam, like it or not. The Islamic world must choose sides, and they’d damned well better choose peace. There is no room for the culture of death the Taliban and Al Qaeda represent.

Good Luck When Most Needed
What's the difference between an amateur or dumb terrorist and one that isn't? Not much except for the successful terrorist, the bomb explodes.
x
Consider what happened in Time Square Saturday night, a theme no different than the crotch kaboomer on Christmas Day on a flight destined to Detroit. The terrorist arrived at his intended target, armed with explosives, preparing to ignite the bomb but in both cases, the bombs failed to explode.
x
While the terrorist ultimate mission of massive killings failed, they were positioned as intended poised to accomplish their evil purpose. No measure of our anti-terrorist efforts prevented the horrible from happening. Nothing happened in so far as anti terrorist efforts succeeded well enough to prevent what could have been the worst US horror since September 11, 2001.
While we can celebrate a suspect has been arrested and to no one's surprise, he has clear Islamic connections having come from Pakistan. No amount of bravado about how stupid or amateurish the potential killer was can chill the reality that an SUV loaded with explosive material made it to its target. Only by good luck alone was the tragedy avoided.
x
This must be a wakeup call to an administration that seems so reluctant to deal honestly with the enemy that seeks to destroy us not wanting to even use language that honestly depicts what is going on. We are at war with radical Islam, not because that's what we wanted. It's what they want and they're prepared to stick it to us every chance they have regardless of who is in power in Washington.

Terror in Time Square

While there is much applause as if to suggest we dodged a terror attack just as there were similar sentiments after the underwear bomber failed to down an airliner over Detroit, let's put things in proper perspective. Just as the Christmas Day experience, an explosive device intended to cause massive homicides were in place ready to explode and were it not for the incompetence of terrorist or faulty construction of the device. To the extent that terrorists were positioned poised to strike is a partly successful mission as these events have shown us just how vulnerable we are.
x
This is no time for smugness. Our nation is under attack. It remains to be seen who was behind the Times Square May Day attack and what his motivation and/or affiliation might be, but we know we have radical Islam sworn to kill us. There are other groups waiting their turn, and there's always the possibly of the "lone wolf" who has an agenda perhaps only he can understand.
x
Some day soon, we won't be so lucky. We must have firm resolve to do everything to keep that day from happening and that anyone involved in any way to plan or executive such an attack must find his status as a living breathing creature is subject to immediate permanent termination.
s
This is dead serious. We must see it as such and be prepared. Anything less is copping out.

April 19th, a Day for Outrage and Sorrow

April 19, a day on the calendar to most of us, but it is also a date sealed in infamy that is being exploited horribly.
For starters, April 19, 1993 was the date Federal agents under the direction of the Clinton administration ran out of patience and attacked the Branch Davidians, a group of religious extremists under the leadership of David Koresh. An armored tank was used to insert tear gas canisters into the compound. Moments later, the complex erupted in flame and the Davidians died. There is much controversy about the details, but the best accounts suggest that the Davidians poured flammable liquids about their complex causing the fire which incinerated them to death. Still, what provoked the sense of urgency, why the government agents couldn’t continue to hold them at bay and had to use force will be forever debated.
Two years later, the site was the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A yellow Ryder truck loaded with explosives was detonated ripping the front off the building killing 168 including 19 children under the age of six. 680 people were injured.
Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were found to be the conspirators who purchased fertilizer products, studied bomb making, and rented the truck used to pull off the horrific deed. These two figures were anti-American extremists steeped in what some consider extreme right wing thinking as the manifest reason to commit their horrible act against their own people. McVeigh was executed. Nichols will spend the rest of his life in jail.
That the Oklahoma City bombing was staged on April 19th, was supposed to be because Nichols and McVeigh were outraged at the government’s action at Waco. Part of their twisted reasoning was to avenge the Waco deaths.
Initially, the press and many others suspected the attack to be one of Islamic extremism cognizant of efforts to destroy the World Trade Center the first time in 1993. The whole picture changed once the pieces were put together.
While all American citizens with any morals or decency would decry this horrible event, what evolved soon thereafter, is the grounds for tremendous outrage. Given McVeigh’s military background and seeming connection with the conservative movement, increasingly the rhetoric blamed conservative talk radio and other critics to the right of the system for inciting idiots like McVeigh. They also connected the Branch Davidians with fundamentalist Christians too. They used and continue to use this kind of demagoguery to attempt to discredit anyone who they believe is too conservative for their limited level of tolerance.
Many leftists also use the Oklahoma City bombing as an attempt to relativise the dangers of radical Islam reminding that there was an episode of domestic bred terrorism and it was conducted by filthy right-wingers.
Perspective means everything on this subject. While there is no telling how many nutcases there might be out there poised to do us harm, there is no huge right wing extremist movement seeking to kill or harm fellow Americans. Suggestions that many popular talk show hosts and the Tea Party movement breed domestic terrorists is no more meaningful than most who opposed the Vietnam War and participated in antiwar activities gave rise to mad bombers like Barack Obama’s associate, Bill Ayers.
We must be diligent that threats to our security don’t come in one flavor to be sure, but if any of this distracts from the clear and present danger of Islamic Terrorism, cannot be tolerated. While short of 9/11, there has never been a more deadly episode than the Murrah Building bombing, we must not allow that there have been many other expressions of terrorism such as eco-terrorists who torched auto dealerships which sell SUV’s and burned down housing developments under construction because they disagreed with land being used for housing. Likening legitimate debate and protest to extremism is dangerous, hateful, un-American conduct none of us can tolerate.
We must be prepared for all forms of terrorism and deal with those responsible as harshly as possible.

Reflections on Our Darkest Day Eight Years Ago
How has your life changed because of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001?
People living in the New York City area, around the nation’s Capitol, and those connected with the four airline flights involved whose family, friends, and associates were killed or injured, their lives will never be the same hurt beyond repair in some ways. Those who’ve been called to arms to fight the war on terror continue to pay a tremendous price. Between those killed from the attacks and in our military, the death toll stands at over 7,000. Considering tens of thousands of people worked in the twin towers of the World Trade Center, how much bravery and little miracles kept the count from escalating higher.
One cannot travel by air and not be aware of greater restrictions to assure passenger safety from potential terrorists. We can also look at many public facilities see the barriers put in place to create a safety zone that could hopefully thwart truck bombers and other threats. We’ve also had to go through more security entering everything from office buildings, sports events, and rock concerts for fear that large assemblies make desirable targets.
However, perhaps what’s most alarming is how little we have been affected, how quickly life returned to normal, how little we have been interrupted in any way, and how easy the lessons of that horrible event are ignored.
How horrible it is that much of the energy generated against what happened to us is not being directed at the Islamic extremists behind this most wicked event but has been turned inward whether its those hateful sick bastards who perpetuate 9/11 conspiracy theories, the attempts to gloss over the events behind a wall of political correctness, or just simple complacency as if no one wants to be bothered distracted from their day-to-day affairs.
Perhaps it would be better if those horrible events resulted in us having to do something at least a little differently in some ways. Don’t we need some little reminders to reinforce our resolve to continue the fight?
Thankfully, despite massive intelligence gathering operations, we have not lost our freedom. The instant that would start to happen would be the first stages of surrender to our hated enemy.
As we have stated along with many others, we did not choose this war; this war chose us. We can withdraw from Iraq or Afghanistan. We can call the war on terror by nicer names. We can talk around that we have a bitter enemy in radical Islam. Those who attacked us will continue to press on. They think in terms we do not. We are “now” people looking at the present and instant results. They see this as a struggle for the ages and will continue to spread their religion and politics of death. Until every last person on this earth is under their murderous control, anyone and anything in their way could be destroyed. We treasure life. They see no greater glory than dying for their wicked beliefs and nothing is more heroic than killing nonbelievers and dying a martyr.
We must have faith that because we choose life and they choose death, we will ultimately win. However, we cannot let somebody else do it. We cannot depend of the rest of the world. We cannot even depend on our government. Our government is a sickly reflection of ourselves. Unless they are constantly reminded and supported that we as a people stand strong, the ship of state will stray off course.
In the meantime, our life goes on, and nothing more than witnessing the deaths of so many Americans can remind us more just how precious our lives are and beautiful the love we share for those in our hearts. We are also reminded when we see the sick application of Islam as the blueprint for destruction, that God is alive, in our hearts, in our nature, and providing us a pathway to deal with this most horrible reality. If there has ever been a clearer battle of good against evil, we have found it just as the great generation fought Nazi Germany and the death culture of the Axis powers so few decades ago.
We look to our grandparents and great grandparents whose time on this earth is rapidly passing for they knew what it took to unite, sacrifice and conquer a great evil. Their values and lessons of personal responsibility and shared sacrifice seem so alien to the “me” culture of baby boomers and Generation X. It’s time for baby boomers on the twilight of their golden years to grow up and for Generation X to step up. Future generations depend on our resolve.
Do not let this day pass without saying a prayer connecting with the goodness of God and let your heart guide its content. Express your love and appreciation to someone special in your life. No matter your hardships, count your blessings.
We must also be realistic. Those who hate us will strike again. Can we be prepared?

Remembering September 11 Terrorists Attacks Eight Years Later

On a clear, beautiful morning like this...
x
x
Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001, 8:46 am EDT, couldn’t have been a more beautiful morning in the north eastern United States. The sky was clear; the weather warm. A week after Labor Day and the end of summer, folks were settling into school and their jobs. It was business as usual as daybreak gave way approaching 9:00 am when the whole working world is buckling down. The NFL season had just started. The New York Yankees were atop their division heading for another World Series. What could be more normal and seemingly perfect?
In Baltimore, Maryland, an employee for the finance department of a rising corporation pulled into the parking lot at his office listening to the local news-talk station, just prior to 9:00 the morning host interrupted his discussion, a plane had hit the New York World Trade Center. That seemed so odd. How could that happen? Surely it was as clear and lovely a couple hours up the highway from Baltimore. These kind of weather systems usually covered most of the northeast. By the time he walked into his office, his immediate area was bedlam. Fellow staff members were frantically talking on the phone. Others were tuning in radio stations and scrambling on the Internet. Everyone wanted to know what happened in New York. Did some pilot go hopelessly astray?
A moment later just after 9:00 am an office mate slammed down her phone and screamed, “Holy shit, a plane just hit the other tower.” Almost on impulse, the fellow who had just come in from the parking lot impulsively screamed, “Fucking Arabs.”
Nobody wanted to believe what happened, but intuitively not only did we know we were under attack, but at least had a pretty good idea by whom. Nobody else could be so dastardly and suicidal. Televisions were turned on the next floor up. The wretched images of the twin towers were bellowing dark demonic looking smoke as the reports came across of people hand in hand leaping to their deaths. There were tens of thousands of people working in that complex. How many would make it out alive?
As the horrible reality sank in more gravely came another shocker, and huge explosion in Washington, DC. Just across the river, there had been a blast at the Pentagon and quickly all knew a plane had crashed into the headquarters of American defense. Our country was under attack while that sinking feeling set in, “What next?”
That same fellow in Baltimore shed a tear thinking the White House or Capitol could be under attack. He once taught school. A former student he dearly loved was working on the professional staff for the House of Representatives. Meanwhile, everyone at his office was starting to come to grips with the situation wondering what in Baltimore might be a likely target. A huge high rise hotel had just opened two blocks away. It stood out like a sore thumb on the Baltimore skyline, but Baltimore had its own World Trade Center, much smaller than the one in New York. Quickly, Baltimore was going into emergency status. The expressways leading in and out of the city were closed down in case they’d be needed to move emergency vehicles. Schools were preparing to shut down as most businesses in the area closed down. Every station on television it seems turned into a news channel, even ESPN and ESPN2 were broadcasting the feed from ABC news. All events were cancelled and planes grounded until further notice. Then came the word of another episode in western Pennsylvania. Early reports indicated passengers were able to wrestle control of Flight 93 away from its hijackers and were able to force the plane to the ground. A new class of citizen warriors had become the first killed combatants in the war on terrorism.
Baltimore was absolute gridlock as the working life blood of the city’s downtown business district attempted to ride home with major arteries clogged with traffic. Similar stories were repeated from the east coast to the west, but those stuck in traffic for hours were the lucky ones. The horrors in lower Manhattan and Arlington, Virginia were beyond comprehension. Then came even another terrible report. One of the WTC towers collapsed and soon after that, the second tower collapsed. The whole nation had images of thousands of Americans crushed or burned to death. In the rubble of the twin towers in New York was buried America’s innocence. We were at war but no one had a clew how this would play out.
The President was in Florida promoting education reading a story to school children. His chief of staff whispered in his ear. For a moment he appeared as dumbstruck as the rest of us as he has scurried off to an undisclosed location. Security advisors did not want him returning to Washington DC, there could be more attacks. The Vice President was scurried off to a secret location which turned out to be a bunker in the Vice President’s residence. As afternoon set in, there was a mournful silence from coast to coast. No more attacks, but everyone was thinking, what next?
As the afternoon progressed, families assembled together many glued to the television. Military officials, intelligence experts, and prominent leaders weighed in on the retched tragedy. There was even the image of congressmen on Capitol hill who had been locked into vicious partisan fighting a day earlier joined together singing “God Bless America.” Baseball games and virtually all other events were called off. Americans travelling across country were stranded unable to get air service elsewhere.
We were quickly putting the horrors of the day into perspective. Many said this was this generation’s Pearl Harbor, but when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was a distant American territory and they attacked a military target, a naval base. On this horrible day, ordinary people simply going to work to earn a living in the Nation’s largest city and its Capitol were murdered in the most savage of circumstances.
The President turned up at the White House and prepared to address the nation that evening. He spoke calmly but forcefully urging calm and resolve among the American people determined to avenge the horrors of that day. As night settled in, chaos continued in New York and Arlington while the rest of the nation attempted to get an uneasy rest.
When they’d awaken on the morning of September 12, they would arise in a new, darker world. The horrors of death and war chilled the otherwise beautiful air. The United States would never be the same.

Once Again: Obama Administration Withdraws from War on Terror

If we are not engaged in a “war on terror” or fighting “jihadists,” then what the hell is going on?
See this article from the Washington Times for the Obama administration’s latest withdrawal from reality:
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/aug/06/white-house-war-terrorism-over/?feat=home_headlines
Apparently, President Barack Obama and his brain trust think they know. How ironic it is that this story should surface in the Washington Times showing the administration playing kissy-kissy nice with those who are sworn to kill every single one of us just after they revealed their “flag” address so their loyal butt-kissers can rat out regular citizens like us who’d dare criticize their attempts to seize government control of our nation’s health care system.
It just doesn’t add up unless your notion of Democracy is that of Hugo Chavez, a garden variety communist, who used the legitimate election process to get into office and then do whatever he goddamned well pleased.
With each passing day, we get a better idea of what Barack Obama’s master vision is for how he intends to “transform” America, and the picture we see is nothing like the free enterprise system that has lead the world for over a century in almost every important endeavor including science, engineering, technology, medicine, product design, military power, and personal well being.
No task is more important for the national government than to provide for the national defense and to uphold a nation of law. We did not chose this war on terror. The terrorists chose us. Nothing but disaster awaits us if we deny this cold chilling reality. However, in Obama-Nation, on the macro level, he can’t accept what national defense truly involves and on the micro level he’d dare insult our local law enforcement officers everywhere when he opined the Cambridge police “acted stupidly.”
Who’s the fool, Barack Obama or the American citizens if we don’t see one of the most dangerous enemies to our freedom and way of life resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC?
Yes, Barack Obama is revealing himself what he really is, the traitor-in-chief.

North Korea: The Roach That Roars Like a Lion
What is more dangerous than having a mad man as a head of state? Surveying the world right now, it’s difficult to find any leaders particularly praise worthy, but some are serious like Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad; however, perhaps one alone exceeds their madness, Kim Jung Il.
The world became a more dangerous place in recent days as North Korea tested a second, more powerful nuclear bomb and began a series of missile tests. Soon, any nation within their rockets’ range will be in peril. Further, would keeping nuclear technology a secret be in Il’s value system? Hardly, his weapons displays seem to be marketing presentations for future buyers.
On this grand scale, the world has work to do to contain Il’s treachery, and it will take much more than just more nasty letters from the impotent United Nations. However, Il’s madness extends to smaller levels that reveal pure wickedness.
The world should unite in outrage for his taking two American journalists hostage, Laura Ling and Euna Lee, forcing them to stand before a North Korean magistrate on trumped up charges, and then sentencing them to twelve years in a forced labor camp.
The reporters were taken hostage by North Korean soldiers patrolling along the Chinese border. Though North Korea offers little on what their rationale is for holding these two Americans, they indicated the ladies were guilty of trespassing and committing a grave crime. The North Korean communist dictatorship held a five day “trial” in Pyongyang.
Make no mistake about it, this case cannot be taken in isolation. It is one of a series of provocative moves by the North Korean government which in addition to the weapons displays includes harassing boats in international waters and sending a trawler into South Korean territorial waters.
What the end game Kim Jung Il and his thugs have in mind is difficult to calculate. Is it a shakedown game to extract bounty from the west? Is it a slick move to attempt to see how far the oppressive dictatorship can press the civilized world without suffering tangible consequences? Is it flexing its muscles to attract interest of the other criminal regimes and outlaw factions in the world with anti-western agendas as possible customers for its weapons? The infamous Scud missiles Saddam Hussein launched during the first Gulf War, Desert Storm, were of North Korean origin. On going dialog between the highest levels of the North Korean government and Iran are ominous signs of what could lie ahead.
The world must deal with North Korea forcefully and concede nothing. Sadly, how much real clout does the west have short of all-out war which regardless of the eventual outcome could prove catastrophic for South Korea, whose capital city, Seoul is less than 50 miles from the demarcation line separating the two nations. The potential harm to the population of the south and even Japan such across the Sea of Japan, the North Koreans have the means to cause tremendous harm regardless of what the obvious outcome would be for their fate.
The answer rests in Beijing where the Communist Chinese hold all the cards. It is through their support providing food and fuel to the North Korean dictatorship that this atrocity is able to continue in the first place. The country is starving to death thanks to the insensitivity and isolation of its government whose wicked behavior has locked it out from the world at large.
The response by the Clinton and Bush administration lacked urgency and a sense of punch, now the Obama administration seems even more prepared to allow the United Nations to write nasty letters easily ignored to Kim Jung Il. Further, by running up the national debt with China one of the largest customers for U.S. debt, our country has lost any bargaining with the communist government being literally indebted to them to the tune of billions of dollars.
While the fate of these two enterprising American reporters is an intolerable atrocity no rational person can tolerate, the fate of just two Americans might be tiny compared to the horrors that lie ahead. The surest thing in the world is how dictatorships react to signs of weakness and waffling. We don’t think the Obama administration understands this basic truth of world politics based on its behavior so far.

North Korea Tests Nukes and Missile -- The Road to no Return

North Korean mad man, Kim Jung Il.
Shocked and surprised, phooey!!!
xx
Do you remember the Hilary Clinton campaign ad about the phone call at 3:00 am in the morning, something’s happening somewhere in the world and a phone rings in the White House? While America slept celebrating a holiday weekend supposed to honor those members of the armed services who gave their lives to protect our freedom, North Korea not only a nuclear bomb but also launched more missile tests. The ball is in President Obama’s court. The message Hilary Clinton, ironically now Obama’s Secretary of State, was chillingly clear. How might a President Obama with zero international experience steeped in so much radical influence handle a national security emergency?
His record so far says, horrifyingly poorly.
Consider just one issue, closing the terrorist detainment camp at Guantanamo Bay. President Obama issued an executive order within hours of taking office to close that facility within one year. He made this commitment without having compiled an implementation plan or having shown any notion of how he planned to accomplish that goal, but he still had a budget figure in mind which he expected Congress to fund. Even our spend-crazy legislators balked at this proposition – offer up Federal money without knowing what their authorization was for.
The Obama administration’s stance on North Korea has been vague and lacking any kick. Is this another example of where Barack Obama, in his extreme vanity, has convinced himself that all will be well once he has the chance to talk with the mad dictator? Surely KIM Jung Il got his feelings hurt by the previous administration. He has never been reasoned with the way a self-confident Barack Obama could show him the way. The administration’s smugness and lack of a sense of urgency in the face of constant threats from this renegade state should have every American or world citizen who could be the target of a North Korean, Iranian or any twisted nation capable of buying arms from Jung Il absolutely mortified of the possible consequences.
Now it’s time for the civilized war to respond…
North Korea is a pathetic mess. A nation of 23 ½ million people, the vast majority of its population lives in severe poverty starved by a corrupt, tyrannical dictator whose erratic mad behavior threatens the world’s safety. Few things tell the story of North Korea better than nocturnal satellite imagery which shows a lit up South Korea after dark with thriving active cities after dark while its orphaned sister nation languishes in virtual darkness. The other frequently showed images are from the center of its capital city, is of massive military expositions where thousands of stone faced robotic soldiers march in zombie like precision reflecting the total control and lack of individuality in this horrific terrorist state. To further drive home how isolated the North Korean culture is, only 1.18 telephones, all on a crude land line system, are in use.
Calling their dictator KIM Jung Il a mad man is a worn out understatement. The danger his behavior poses the rest of the world is as undeniable as it is unpredictable. What could be more terrifying than a nation detached from the world economy offering virtually no in demand commodities for the world economy shopping its military hardware to the highest bidder?
Enter the other country with an equally mad dictator, Iran, hell bent on massive armament seeking its own nuclear weapons and strategic missile program. That these two countries should be developing such a cozy relationship should stimulate pure terror in the rest of the world as no country within the range of their potential weapons delivery range can find itself safe.
The world community must respond NOW. There can be no wiggle room. A deranged dictator cannot spread his influence too far without outside enablers and clearly KIM Jung Il’s enabler is the totalitarian regime of Red China. What North Korea can’t provide for itself in food and energy is provided generously by the Beijing potentates. Clearly, if China saw Korea as a threat and sought to rectify troubles in the small country on its southeastern frontier, it could do so with the snap of a finger.
Clearly, the Chinese government feels it has something to gain propping up KIM Jung Il’s mad regime. While the rest of the world scrambles to respond to the North Korean threat, China consolidates its gains and counts its money. If the world is going to succeed in bring this bizarre dictator to his knees, they will have to do so through China, and so far China has acted like it could care less.
Just how much negotiations capital does the United States have to compel China to support the civilized world’s desire to eliminate the threat of a possible North Korean nuclear arms and long range missile market? Clearly the answer is very little since China is one of the largest investors in buying American debt. On one level, the Communist Chinese own us. They knew darned well they were buying our debt knowing they were also buying influence.
The North Korean menace must be met head on right NOW. It doesn’t matter how much the rest of the world waffles, it is gut check time where the United States, Japan, and South Korea must lead the world’s response to eliminate the North Korean threat. Not only is South Korea’s thriving industrial economy at stake with its capital city, Seoul just a shot away from the North Korean border, Japan sits across a short expanse of water increasing more in range of the madman’s power of destruction.
The civilized world under the leadership of the United States and Japan can take no option off the table and cannot rule out any kind of response including direct strikes to wipeout Korean weapon making capability.
Estimates indicate the bombs tested possessed the power of the ones used against Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II, bombs that could obliterate a modest sized city.
What Korea could do with this power is frightening enough, but today it’s North Korea, tomorrow it’s Iran, and in those hands with their stated intention to wipe Israel off the map, the world’s safety and stability is in the gun sight of an Islamic extremist who sees world events in such bizarre divine sanctioned terms.
What the Obama mindset refuses to understand is that our rhetoric, our brilliantly composed diplomatic and legal briefs are of no consequence to KIM Jung Il or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Anything short of guns trained on their foreheads are seen as laughable signs of weakness versus their wicked designs.
Anyone who thinks KIM Jung Il has any moral reservations against selling his weapons to Iran or even the Taliban or Al Qaeda is sorely mistaken?
While our liberal leaders are more upset about a known conspirator with the blood of 3000 Americans on his hands getting a little bit of water shot up his nose, that same mindset refuses to recognize that there is real evil in this world. These dictators are not misunderstood or simply reacting against what they perceive as unfair treatment by western exploitation. They are genuinely pure evil. They are a threat against all life within their range. They understand brute strength and little else. They must be ruthlessly destroyed before their capacity to deliver their amassing powers of mass destruction.
We have no confidence Barack Obama has the intellect or will to effectively deal with this undeniable threat. He cannot sweet talk or campaign his way out of this one. A loaded teleprompter is no substitute for a loaded cruise missile – destination North Korea.
The future is now. The time to act decisively is now. There is no wiggle room.

Reality Check on the So-Called Torture Debate

One on the loose, two others still at "Gitmo" all threats to American safety.
-
As the debate on interrogation degenerates into a highly partisan, mean-spirited witch hunt, the American people must consider the context from which this debate emerged and the issues at stake that required the most forceful interrogation possible. The more the public understands what was at stake, the more the current grandstanding, ranting and raving by members of the Democratic party will not only seem like a vicious attempt to mischaracterize the Bush administration, and by extension, the Republican party, but also attacks the entire intelligence gathering and defense operations undertaken in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorists attacks on the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
The procedure which is creating the most uproar is called waterboarding. A subject is restrained with his/her head inclined downward, then water is poured over the subject’s mouth and nasal passages creating the sensation of suffocation and drowning. Because the subject’s head is directed downward and water does not drain into the lungs itself, it causes no physical harm to the subject. The gagging reaction is reflexive almost impossible for the subject to control. The procedure causes no physical damage whatsoever, but it is, unquestionably, extremely horrifying triggering the body’s defenses as if it were on the verge of death.
While the procedure is difficult to endure, news reporters including a representative from Fox news voluntarily underwent the procedure to be able to explain their experience. Further, some of our nation’s most elite special forces undergo the procedure as part of their toughening preparation in their survival training.
The debate as to whether this constitutes torture is certainly legitimate. In the context of a “lasting harm” argument, there’s no way waterboarding could be considered torture. That is creates intense distress is likewise undeniable. Thus the debate first revolves around whether the procedure constitutes torture. The prevailing view among the Democratic party, the news media, and many Republicans considers that it is torture or at least cruel and extreme. The other part of the debate centers on given the terrorist figures on whom these methods were employed, given the intelligence they possessed, how timely it was, and the threat to all Americans they could possibly reveal, how far can our interrogators go to extract such intelligence knowing they might have inside knowledge of future terrorist attacks and their understanding of America’s weaknesses that terrorists can exploit.
Khalid Shaikh Mohammed was the highest level terrorist waterboarded. Mohammed was Osama Bin Ladin’s top strategic operative who was responsible for devising, preparing, staging, and directing the September 11, 2001 attacks. Additionally, he had knowledge of other operations under way which included destroying the Brooklyn Bridge in New York and staging a second phase of the 9/11 style attacks on Los Angeles.
The American people need to consider what was at stake. Of what value was that intelligence? How many more American citizens’ lives were threatened? If that is the case, possibly hundreds or thousands of lives, how much pressure is justified against a person responsible for such potential atrocities who already played a critical roll in over 3,000 deaths in the original attacks?
Terrorist captives Abu Zubayda and Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri were also reported to have been waterboarded. Abu Subayda served as a senior Bin Ladin official the United States had been following at least as early as 1999 during the Clinton administration. He played a key role in the east African embassy bombings and had plans in various states of development to attack U.S. and Israeli targets in Jordan. He is also implicated in a plot to blowup the international airport in Los Angeles. Zubayda was shown to be the ultimate Al Qaeda insider with knowledge and involvement of the full reach of the terrorist’s organizations schemes.
Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri is most noted for his role staging the attack on the USS Cole in the port of Yemen. He was involved in the planning and staging of numerous Al Qaeda plots.
As the so called “torture” debate explodes into a mad frenzy in Washington and across the news media specifically aimed at prosecuting the Bush administration for the actions it undertook and the means by which they determined such actions as legal and justified, what is lost in the discussion is any sense of context and urgency.
That the United States was caught unprepared and uniformed about the extent of Bin Ladin’s terrorist campaigns through Al Qaeda resulting in the September 11th attacks after the attack on the USS Cole and the African embassy bombings would be an obvious understatement. Given that such horrific attacks occurred within the United States itself provided the highest sense of urgency of any threat to the United States eclipsing the entire Cold War and only possibly being reviled by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, December, 1941, the President was charged with the awesome responsibility to use the full weight of American power to protect the safety of all Americans and their vital interests.
In this context having just been attacked and responsible for ensuring no future attacks, the President, his defense, legal, and intelligence experts had to act with the absolute highest sense of urgency to secure our country’s safety. The prevailing mindset of the administration was stop at nothing to get the job done. President Bush would dedicate his administration to quickly and forcefully getting the job done on all levels.
How can the integrity and judgment of President George W. Bush be so viciously assailed and even criminalized in the eyes of his critics in the media and Democratic party? Can anyone possibly argue that the President did not act in good faith and was not attempting to use his position to lead the nation’s efforts to protect every single one of us?
In hindsight, one can critic the effectiveness and validity of what the Bush administration accomplished; however, the attempts to vilify the President and his top officials for such agenda driven political considerations is simply contemptuous, unpatriotic, wicked, and blind.
Through the prism of hindsight always being 20/20, some aspects of the Bush administration’s response were off target; however, did anyone including some of the Democrats who are the most vocal critics of the President, have any reason to doubt, for instance, the intelligence about weapons of mass destruction that served as a major factor for going to war against Iraq? That intelligence was verified as valid from multiple sources from both American and international sources. The necessity of going to war in Iraq is certainly the most off target response the administration launched in the whole scenario, but make no mistake about it. The behavior of Saddam Hussein was extremely provocative and dangerous whether it was attacking US and British planes patrolling the “no fly” zone established by international treaties, the systematic torture and murder of Iraqi citizens, and the vicious brutalization and oppression of Kurdish and Shiite citizens in Iraq. Hussein’s overt and clandestine activities including specific materials procured were all consistent of following the steps toward building nuclear weapons. Hussein had already used chemical weapons against enemy factions within Iraq and against Iranians when the country was at war with Iran. Even if the weapons of mass destruction were not found as presumed, at what point does the world community intervene when a murderous dictator is committing so many vicious acts against humanity?
The interrogation of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and other murderous Al Qaeda thugs is very different matter. Can anyone possibly deny that the intelligence obtained might very well have saved thousands of American lives? To that end, where does the pursuit of intelligence end for other concerns? What actions are too severe to not be considered with our lives as American citizens in the balance?
As the conduct of the Bush administration is considered with all factors on the table, the “enhanced” interrogation methods were not taken lightly, were not applied in an arbitrary and capricious manner, and were only carried out with the highest level approval with all methods carefully prescribed, supervised, and monitored including having medical professionals at hand during the process.
Over time, more documentation will become more widely distributed of other methods used to taunt captured terrorists into surrendering their knowledge of their operation. Of what has been published so far, none of the methods rise above bullying and rough housing, most of them are what could best be described as annoying the subjects into submission but torture?
The leftist position of defining torture when applied by a Republican administration appears to be anything from raising one’s voice or greater. In other words, anything those under President Bush’s direction that exceeded, “Hello Mr. Mohammed, sir. Could you please tell us if there is anything we might be interested in knowing about that could involve terrorists’ attacks?” Some might consider even that would be going too far as he should be read his rights first and given the opportunity to “lawyer up.” This of course ignores that matters of domestic law enforcement and the application of the Constitution applies to American citizens living within the United States. War is a totally different scenario as is the urgency of obtaining the best knowledge possible on the situation at hand.
We accept the debate on whether waterboarding is torture is legitimate. We also must make perfectly clear the extent to which the Bush administration involved all appropriate officials including Democrats on Capitol Hill on what methods were under consideration. There was no outcry or open attempts to contest the decisions President Bush pursued in late 2001 and throughout 2002 as these issues were red hot. Even some of the Pentagon’s and intelligence service’s greatest critics accepted the gravity of the situation at hand.
While there are legitimate values consideration at stake, the attempts to vilify President Bush and his administration’s efforts that were successful in keeping the United States and American targets overseas free of attack for the entire duration of his administration after 9/11 must be seen as crass, vicious, dishonest, political opportunism especially when figures like Nancy Pelosi were directly in contact with the most intimate intelligence as the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee grandstand with after the fact of measures they consented to when the issue was red hot.
The news media is doing a horrible job of providing context for all issues involved in performing “enhanced interrogation” and establishing what various officials’ stance was then and now. Once again, the media is failing miserably to do its job and is acting in a biased, partisan manner in support of the most extreme and vocal advocates of the political agenda they seek to advance.
One question that has been posed again and again in the so-called torture debate, “If the officials had detained someone who had raped or murdered you’re a member of your family or had knowledge of plans to harm more members of your family, what would you considered justified?” President Bush had to consider the fate of 300 million Americans. What is the moral imperative when he is charged as the elected leader and commander-in-chief to provide for those citizens’ safety and security. President Bush and no one else had the luxury of time to debate all the philosophical and moral values involved in an immediate, urgent situation with lives in the balance. To that end we applaud President Bush and damn his critics in the most powerful terms available.
The conduct of Nancy Pelosi among others is inauthentic, dishonest, self-serving, and dangerous. It borders on treason. These adversaries to our nation’s safety must be held accountable and cannot go unchallenged.
The procedure which is creating the most uproar is called waterboarding. A subject is restrained with his/her head inclined downward, then water is poured over the subject’s mouth and nasal passages creating the sensation of suffocation and drowning. The "Torture" Debate and How the War on Terror has Gone Off Course

Pictured: the terrorists and the terrible.
The New York Times reported Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the confessed architect of the 9/11/01 attacks on the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon was waterboarded 183 times, and according to a 2005 Justice Department memo as part of the CIA’s overseas detention program Abu Zubaydah, the first major accomplice captured was subjected to the procedure 83 times.
It’s time somebody says this, thank you President Bush and to his men who worked so diligently to get to the bottom of how the 9/11 attacks happened. In such a complex operation planned largely overseas, they were able to identify the prime suspects, seize them, and get to the bottom of their plans in quick order. As such, our intelligence and defense operations got right to the heart of Bin Ladin’s wicked Al Qaeda operation to identify what they were doing and then were able to insulate the United States for the remainder of his administration against a single attack against private United States citizens, our military, or our interests either in the United States or overseas.
What’s really disgusting about this whole matter is not that the most worthless scum the world has to offer, is that our efforts to deal the most conspicuously evil, murderous thugs to walk the earth at least since Hitler’s Nazis exterminated millions of Jews is shown in any way as a bad thing not the heroic and justified action it truly was. There is no question that waterboarding is a miserable experience for someone to endure. However, it is a procedure some of our special ops men have been subjected to as part of their training and toughening. News reporters have voluntarily submitted to the procedure to report on just how effective a method it is.
Let’s be clear on two things. Waterboarding causes no lasting physical damage whatsoever to its subjects. The procedure was used under careful supervision and with layers of permission on only the most dangerous high value detainees in the war on terror. Most importantly, it worked. The United States got the key intelligence it needed to break the back of Al Qaeda rendering them, at least up to now, incapable of further attacks on our republic.
Those responsible, whose confidentiality can be revealed, should be applauded as heroes. The American people owe them a debt of gratitude for their persistence and determination to accomplish goal number one, securing our safety against the worst single day attack on domestic United States targets where close to 3000 of our fellow citizens were killed for no other reason than reporting to work as most responsible Americans do almost every day of their adult lives.
Those who attacked us were more than criminals. They were enemy combatants. Their actions were not simply crimes. They were acts of genocide. Their tactics, hijacking four airliners and using them as weapons to kill as many Americans as possible exceeds all known definitions of aggressive warfare which we can only best describe as terrorism. This was not the action of a rogue or tyrannical state against another nation. It was the action of an organized, well-financed and meticulously managed operation grounded in the most insidious perversion of the Muslim religion as justification to destroy as many of our fellow citizens as possible because our values and interests, that we stand for freedom, self-expression, free enterprise, the integrity of women and people of all faiths, and democracy stand as the absolute opposite of their vision of society which has only been seen on a grand scale when the Taliban ruled Afghanistan where, for starters, women were forced to hide behind clothing that best resembled burlap fertilizer bags while being denied the most basic necessities of civilized life including education and who could be beaten or killed for any action that displeased the males of Taliban society. Even the brutal regime of Saddam Hussein or radicalized Iran would be seen as too permissive by these evil thugs.
Because we are a civilization where the rights and integrity of the individual matters, we are very careful to resort to behavior where simply resorting to those actions where the ends justify the means is an acceptable response to even the most barbaric acts against us, but all philosophies have their limits.
While the radical left, the news media, and many politicians express their outrage against the “enhanced interrogation” methods employed by the Bush administration, we must put what was done in proper perspective. As the Obama administration could obviously care less at what is at stake revealing confidential matters of things done to assure our safety, the actions those who would ridicule President Bush’s decisions, the information reveals the layers of permission needed, the precautions taken, and the careful deliberation taken before any actions that go beyond regular passive means of imprisonment were taken. At no time was indiscriminate torture employed and every action taken was as a final measure when more passive measures failed.
What is never considered by figures in the media and most disturbingly the current administration is any sense of perspective. President Bush had to deal with the awesome task of having 3000 Americans killed on his watch and had to take every action conceivable to prevent any further threats to our people. Extreme situations demand extreme measures and let’s be real, when the whole story of how these interrogation episodes were handled with so much scrutiny and followed carefully scripted procedures. It’s not like our officials were just whaling away on these lowest scum of scum.
What rationale against “enhanced interrogation” stands up when the whole situation, who the detainees were, what we stood to gain from them, and how the whole scenario was conducted are considered. There’s been some mumbo-jumbo about if we act in such harsh ways against our adversaries, what are they going to do to us? Let’s see, how were our servicemen treated at Fallouja? What did the Islamic thugs do to American journalist, Daniel Pearl?
Lost in all the moralizing over the methodology of interrogation is the key issue: what measures are being taken by our government to destroy worldwide terrorist movements. While the United States turns inwards against itself, who is the next Khalid Sheik Mohammed? Where is he hiding? What does he know? What is he planning?
This citizen is thankful for the single-mindedness and resolve shown by our last President to keep our nation safe. It’s a very difficult job with many tough questions to answer and decisions to be made. When considering the big picture, how could there be any compassion against thugs like Khalid Sheik Mohammed?
Meanwhile, look how far our efforts have fallen in less than 100 days. Between President Barack Obama and Homeland Security Chief, Janet Napolitano removing concepts like “war on terror,” “terrorist,” and “enemy combatant” from their official vocabulary and seeking to deal with terrorists as ordinary criminals with all the protections afforded regular American citizens during peace time, clearly they do not understand the severity of the situation, just how wicked and determined our adversaries are, and just how much carefully focused efforts are required to succeed.
Instead, they are more worried about what potential threats might exist among those who are most likely to have political and moral values that don’t agree with theirs wasting precious time and resources on their shameful confidential report to law enforcement where even the servicemen who surrendered their personal freedom, put their lives on the line, and fought overseas to secure our freedom are seen as a pool of possible recruits for ultra-conservative domestic terrorist operations. They don’t mind throwing around concepts like terror when talking about our own people including committed Christians whose moral standards pit them against abortion and embryonic stem cell research, gun owners, listeners to talk radio, citizens dealing with the consequences of the failing economy, or are concerned about the effects of illegal immigration,
Their wild goose chase against our own citizens prefaces its key findings with the following rationale:
The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific
information that domestic rightwing* terrorists are currently planning acts of violence,
but rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about
several emergent issues. The economic downturn and the election of the first
African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and
recruitment.
Then the balance of the report goes on to define those they see as possible threats, threats with no specific information, our own citizens all engaged in lawful pursuits whose greatest threat is that when push comes to shove, their core values, lifestyle, or current situation might encourage values contrary to the orthodoxy of Obama administration dogma.
All of these perceived threats are spoken of in terms of terrorism with an entire section of the report dedicated “Disgruntled Military Veterans.” That the second most extreme act of terrorism in the United States was committed by a psychopathic former Gulf War soldier, Timothy McVeigh appears to have created a waive of paranoia enveloping the judgment and thinking of Ms. Napolitano.
While the administration is chasing windmills worried about what we, normal citizens, who are appalled at how his administration is behaving and is anxious to reveal every confidential action the Bush administration took that does not agree with them, what are they doing to protect us from our most dangerous threat, radical Islam. They won’t even call the threat by what it is. How can any of us feel safe in that context?
Who knows what revelations lie ahead or to what extent the Obama maniacs will go to discredit the previous administration who accepted the awesome challenge of putting our safety first? Clearly, the Obama administration is more concerned about its political standing and threats against its ability to saturate the public with its radical policies without dissent.
What is a greater abuse of power; making an Al Qaeda leader very uncomfortable streaming water in his nose to obtain much needed intelligence or developing a report which concedes having no “specific information” targeted against normal American citizens whose values and lifestyles put them at odds with how the Obama administration would want them to behave?
The conclusions are obvious. How could our enemies not feel profoundly embolden when they realize their threat is no longer taken seriously when our government is more concerned with scolding itself for how it dealt with those at the heart of the terrorist movement while at the same time showing extreme paranoia against the very citizens they are charged with protecting?
With the whole situation presented in its full context, we admire President Bush and his chain of command for exercising such remarkable restraint and considering their actions so carefully while doing what was necessary to obtain the most precious intelligence of all in the war on terror. Given all the crimes against humanity Khalid Sheik Mohammed and Abu Zubaydah were guilty of exploiting, that these examples of the absolute worst of human scum could be handled in such a purposeful, professional manner aimed solely at the goal of obtaining information and not pounding away on them for retribution shows the highest kind of moral behavior in the heat of warfare imaginable.
How these simple facts and principles can be so hard to understand is difficult to comprehend. These are the factors the news media should be presenting the American people not the constant Chicken Little ‘the sky is falling’ hysteria that our officials had to act very assertively against the absolute most wicked villains on the face of the earth.
This citizen thanks President Bush and prays that my fellow Americans will eventually appreciate his wisdom. If the news media won’t tell us the truth, how are we to know any better?

More Evidence Obama's Administration is Way Over the Line

Janet Napolitano is an idiot, a world class idiot who given the position of the head of the Office of Homeland Security could well be one of the most dangerous threats to our national security outside of the true terrorists themselves. Oh, hold on, she doesn’t like the word terrorist, nor terrorist attack, or “war on terrorism.” She’s part of the newspeak of the Obama administration. A terrorist attack in her witless world is a man made disaster.
What is most disturbing is a report issued by her office intended for law enforcement officials only serves no legitimate purpose for defending our national security, is strictly a matter of its authors’ opinions who offer no substantiation only poorly constructed inferences, and worst of all elevates the worst kind of stereotypes the radical left in American politics uses to trivialize its critics.
Among the report’s contentions were that armed forces veterans could be recruited by extremist groups or commit lone acts using their military skill to commit acts of violence. Does anybody see the elitist stereotype of dumb soldiers fulfilling some kind of Rambo like roll in this kind of thinking.

WHAT A CRUEL IRONY, THOSE WHO VOLUNTEERED AND PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN AS PART OF THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERROR ARE NOW BEING PROFILED AS POTENTIAL TERRORISTS BY THE INSANE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!
Those opposed to abortion, illegal immigration or the election of the nation’s first Black president also were identified as possible extremists who might cause trouble. For good measure they included attitudes directed at certain religions or ethic groups when it seems like some of the most obvious anti-Semitism today is found among the leftists willing to support radical Islam under the notion if they’re against the American status quo, they must be the good guys, but this report isn’t about the left just the right and its all dead wrong.
This report is quite revealing of the attitudes and biases of members of the Obama administration. More disturbing, while the department spends its time addressing concerns about good, law-abiding American citizens whose only perceived “crime” is disagreeing with the political orthodoxy of the radical left, WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO KEEP TRACK OF THE REAL TERRORISTS, RADICAL ISLAM?

All Crew Safe and Cargo Delivered, Only the First Step
Captain Richards is free and three of the four Somali pirates who held him captive are dead in what is an Easter Sunday triumph for the first major episode of piracy directed against a US ship in modern history. While the ship itself never fell into the Pirates’ hands, the cargo reached its destination – relief supplies for impoverished Africans, and all crew are now safe, disturbing questions demand immediate attention as a disturbing list of foreign provocations are mounting as a test of how the Obama administration will use US strength and intelligence in fighting the scum of the earth.
On the big stage, Barack Obama failed to project an image of American strength putting more emphasis on what he perceives as American failures before his time in office rather than assertively addressing the problems at hand and letting the world know the US will stand strong against all who stand in its way keeping the world safe from terrorism and safe for the world economy to function freely.
On the small stage, the US Navy and other resources acted promptly and forcefully without any apparent interference from the White House. That’s a good thing, but what’s next?
That the United States proved strong in the one episode directed against the country so far does not eliminating the threat. While this drama was playing out, the French were not as successful with an attack directed against one of their ships. An Italian ship was also taken.
Now that the United States has been drawn into the fight, solving it now becomes legitimate theater for an American solution. If the Obama administration is satisfied all our men are safe and our ship delivered its content willing to let the world community, as in the United Nations, address the broader issue, it will prove weak and spineless in a situation that can only get far worse if not brought under control now. That these goons have become bold enough to take on a US flagged ship indicates this is no minor little criminal enterprise. The safety and security of the world waterways cannot be compromised under any circumstances as there are way too many terrorists and criminal causes who could throw the world transit of vital commodities into chaos if allowed to flourish at all.
This is not a criminal matter. It is an act of war. We must target the command and control centers that direct these pirates and destroy them. Any operating bases must be attacked and wiped out. Forget out “bringing them to justice.” If some are taken prisoner, they must be tried in the strictest jurisdiction affected, and at very least thrown in jail forever.
Negotiations can only take place between two parties who have valid capital to exchange. Pirates have nothing but stolen assets as their bargaining chips so no concessions can be ever pondered as a solution. At the heart of the pirates’ operation is the heart of Islamic terrorism and anarchy. Such individuals have no moral principles or authority to begin with. Any willingness to grant them favor will be seen as weakness. Weakness breeds more consequences. There is only one correct response, overwhelming and never-ending force until the act of piracy is impossible to scheme.
The ball is in Barack Obama’s court. This is no small matter. How the administration responds will determine how the pirates react. They must be destroyed. There is no other option.

YOU GOT TO BE #$##!@#! KIDDING

Americans fell for the bait. They voted for change, and change is coming. Here's an example of change:
Overseas contingency operation? Overseas contingency operation??? OVERSEAS CONTINGENCY OPERATION???
This is what the Obama administration intends to rename the Global War on Terror.
You’ve got to be fucking kidding.

You’ve got to be fucking kidding.
Is that "change you believe in?"
