Anti-Christian Fascism -- What Else Can It Be?

The surest sign of Fascism is when the government prohibits the free expression of religious speech. Each year around graduation time, there are stories about rulings that prohibit invocations or prayers as part of a graduation celebration, most of which are purely ridiculous but now a new ruling from Texas clearly destroys the first amendment in response to a disgusting grievance mindset which deserves little or no accommodation.

Naturally, Barry Lynn supports the decision, when it comes to faux-religion, Lynn is in a class of his own sounding in practice much more like Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, and Bill Maher than a man of God.

To defend the suppression of religious speech on constitutional grounds is ABSURD for the ruling is specifically forbidding the free speech and free expression of religion for the student speaker. To suggest allowing the discussion of religion in a graduation address violates the establishment clause is equally absurd since there is no legislative or executive branches of government attempting to mandate any particular religion on the population at large.

How thin skinned and emotionally fragile can this supposedly offended agnostic be that being exposed to a little bit of someone’s articulation of Christianity would cause “irreparable harm.” That notion is absolutely absurd. If one were subjected to some crass enforcement of Islamic Sharia, that would be understandable, but are we not capable of ignoring that which we don’t want to hear?

It’s not unreasonable to suggest that schools as mandated by the courts are more tolerant of pornography than they are any intelligent discussion of religion. It was clearly not the founders’ intent to silence the public expression of religion. It’s more reasonable to believe that they would encourage the open exchange of conflicting ideas creating a lively marketplace of ideas which is only possible if all are free to speak their believes as they think and express them.

Talk about being offensive, how should those of us who believe in a “creator” deal with a person like Barry Lynn who so emphatically attempts to brow beat us into accepting his radical ideology as if we’re some kind of mindless trolls for thinking anything else but his perverse secular humanism. For Lynn to slap around any kind of public expression of faith is an ideological and theological stance based on his warped assumptions imbued with way too much litigious nonsense.

If schools were to mandate daily prayer, teach classes designed to indoctrinate students into a particular theological point of view, or openly condemn religious choices of students and their families THAT would be unacceptable. Does it not appear that public school liberal curriculum is not forcing clearly secular humanist values on students and at lest implicitly promoting indifference if not true agnosticism or atheism on today’s students?

While the religious right has taken some unacceptable stances on attempting to mandate religious teaching in science classes on the origins of the universe and the theory of evolution and such cannot be tolerated, the left is going full speed ahead to destroy any possibility of accepting traditional Christianity in any context in the school house. That is just plain wrong.

Progressives and the Double Headed Snake

To hear what the left side big shots are saying these days, you'd think you're hearing from a slimy two-headed snake. Nowhere is this more apparent that dealing with the current escalation in gasoline and electric prices. Talk about rising gas prices, they'll bark and scream about greedy profit hungry oil companies ripping off "working" people or the "middle class." The facts don't matter, but their lust for power operates on attempting to divide and conquer by appealing to a class struggle. Naturally, they'll say much the same about utilities doing the same with electricity rates. When the cost goes up, some greedy corporations, almost always called "BIG" -- as in "BIG" oil and the ultimate shadowy control agency of all of them "Wall Street" are to blame. Don't try to talk to them about market forces, something as simple as supply and demand is too difficult a concept for them to understand. Somehow they see good people need stuff (that's demand) and that the suppliers as in sellers are the bad guys. So how can demand in excess of supply equal greed. In their world, they'd argue against gravity. Surely, if someone standing on a ledge fell to his death, someone pushed him and it was someone's duty to catch him. Right now, they're looking to someone to come to their rescue, supposedly the government, to force prices down.

Meanwhile, what's driving the cost of fuel up?  It's not having enough supply to satisfy the world's demand and no society demands more fuel than the United States. The left doesn't want the predominant source of fuel for power generation, coal, used because it is bad for the environment. They don't want nuclear power because they fear radiation will leak out and we'll all mutate into two headed something or others. They don't want hydroelectric power because it messes up eco-systems. They are against increasing domestic production of petroleum because they oppose off-shore drilling and forbid oil production in the Alaskan National Wildlife Reserve even though the area currently sought for oil production is only a small fraction of the entire reserve painting pictures of this bountiful land of lovely flora and fauna beautiful Arctic beasts running free. They'll run videos of the most beautiful scenery Alaska has to offer when the real area desired is little more than a frozen mudflat.

They speak of promoting alternate sources of fuel and urging companies to convert. Yet they won't support the kind of incentives that will encourage entrepreneurs and the corporate world to invest in inventing new technologies. They won't reduce capital gains taxes or provide tax benefits to make it economical for companies to upgrade their physical facilities to be more energy efficient. They won't allow for more domestic production of natural gas, a material we have in huge supply. They say they love wind power, but not in their backyards. Case in point, a wind farm was proposed off sure not far from Martha's Vineyard,  near the Kennedy compound -- oh no, not that close to the Kennedys' they don't want to see windmills from their wonderful yachts.

Government regulation both reducing supply and not helping to reduce demand is the main reason fuel costs are so high. When we depend on so much fuel from hostile nations or countries with dreadfully unstable governments,the slightest upheaval can disrupt the supply driving costs up. The best the Obama administration can do is offer to send OUR MONEY to Brazil to support their offshore oil exploration. Would that commit Brazil to contract with the United States to provide us fuel at below OPEC prices?  No!  It doesn't commit Brazil to anything. It simply rests on the hopes that they would return the favor. What if China outbids us for oil from Brazil?

There is much more to the total energy picture. We concede that coal is not a good material for generating electricity. It's the worst fuel for the environment and "clean" coal simply means less sulphur and mercury, it's still dirty. Much needs to be done to move away from using petroleum. The responsible blueprint for tomorrow's energy needs is a discussion for another day.

Right now, the government must stop being a roadblock to providing the United States the fuel supply it needs at a reasonable cost. The government must also provide the proper financial support to reduce dependence on foreign fuel and obsolete technologies.

That the "progressives" fail to recognize this is not surprising but they'll continue to whine and engage in their usual "killing babies, poisoning children" fear talk while nothing gets better. We'd like to show a great example of this recently published in the Huffington Post. The column writer, Michael Kieschnick (would that be pronounced CHEESE-NICK?), is a particularly loathsome leftist who runs a cellphone company for leftwingers pledged to contribute his profits to the usual causes and organizations fellows like George Soros dump their wealth upon, organizations and enterprises hell bent on creating a so-called open society -- the antithesis of a free enterprise representative republic.

Here's the CREDO cretin himself DEMANDING lower fuel costs and his two-headed snake reasoning. How can someone so stupid sound so self-assured (pompous)?

The bottom line is our way of life and economy is built on steady availability of cheap gasoline and electricity. The more we are dependent on unstable regions and hostile nations for that supply, the more likely it will hit us in the wallet. Not widely discussed is how much oil we import from Mexico. However, should we not be concerned about the chaos south of the border as even another threat to our fuel supply?

That leaves what we can produce ourselves and import from Canada as our only stable options for petroleum.

Electricity is perhaps not quite as tough. Can we accept new nuclear plants that would be far better constructed than those in Japan? What will it take to start maximizing our natural gas supply? Where do we stand on alternate sources that make sense?  We believe coal is a terrible option given that "clean" coal really only means less miserable and mining coal disfigures our planet.

Whether looking at petroleum or electricity generation, our country is not acting responsibly and refuses to move forward. If we're going to get anywhere in the future, the first thing we need to do is kill the two-headed snake.

Bill Maher and His Hip Pseudo-Intellectual Panelists Call O'Reilly's Inteview of Obama Racist and Call O'Reilly Things We Don't Usually Print

Bill Maher just might be the left wing figure who is equally whacked-out and crazy as Glenn Beck is at the other extreme. No doubt his audience consists or the angriest of the left -- the kind who'd be real cozy with Nancy Pelosi hating corporate America unless there are corporate bucks for them and total contempt for anyone who doesn't share their euro-centric socialist world view. Maher is also more than just an athiest, he is an anti-religion particularly Christianity bigot who openly ridicules the faithful acting as condescending as if one's belief in God is as childish as believing in Santa Claus.

Clearly, he's just as disconnected from reality as Glenn Beck, but he is not trying to establish a movement, urging his faithful to horde food, or engage in some talkshow directed self-improvement (or rather indoctrnation) campaign.

While pretending to be the paragon of liberal virtue, tolerent, respectful of diversity, and all the rest of the usual nonsense, Maher is a very angry man who shows total contempt for those who don't adhere to the self-described "progressive" agenda, so against that background, Bill Maher's characterization of Bill O'Reilly's pre-Super Bowl interview of Barack Obama should surprise no one.

Against that background, here's a link to Maher holding court with his like-minded faithful tossing obscenties at Bill O'Reilly and even suggesting that his questions about sports and nodding to the President's love of basketball is racist.  Get it -- that white people see blacks as interested in basketball is a racist stereotype even though we've seen nuerous media accouts of the President playing hoops, talking up the game, and saluting the Chicago Bulls.

How can there be any doubt that this episode from Maher's putrid HBO series is a baseless hateful attack which does not reflect on Bill O'Reilly or for that matter, Barack Obama, but attracts all attention to Bill Maher and his gang as purely close minded, bitter, hateful jerks who have no place in any kind of serious discussion.

Perhaps some of you readers are good hearted Christians who might pray for his troubled soul. What would his ilk do for you?

Keith Olbermann: Goodbye Chump!!!!

Striving to be "The Worst Person in the World" too much for departed talkshow mudslinger.

Drum roll, a moment of silence.

Keith Olbermann is gone. He has done his last show on MSNBC. What was apparent about a fellow who was responsible for some of the most bizarre hateful dishonest blasts at anyone more conservative than Barack Obama had nothing to do with his understanding or ability to articulate the left wing cause other than a catechismic recitation of their talking points. The substance of his show was trying to sound funny while engaging in infantile name-calling as in his "worst person" segments. The more obvious truth about Olbermann was this fellow is not tightly wound. He's a genuine  nutcase who perhaps doesn't stand out quite as conspicuously since Glenn Beck appeared to fill a similar roll on Fox News.

Tbe difference between Olbermann and Beck is that Olbermann is not radioactive. He preaches to a choir that already shares his views maybe less some of his paranoia. He doesn't drive folks on the left to go any further than they already are. Beck on the other hand digs deep into the darkest recesses of the human psyche creating phantoms of unseen forces, secret organizations, important news and history the authorities conspire to silence in extreme and irrational ways to work his audience into a frenzy to agree to pledge commitment to his cause creating a bunch of ignorant drones united behind the scary little man.

Like Olbermann, Beck will stumble over the edge and disappear from television. We can only hope it's sooner than later and that it's for something that clearly is so far over the edge his presence in the broadcast medium can no longer be tolerated.

The left is now short one scoundrel. It's time for the right to offer up its burnt offering.

Media Bias -- Worse than Imagined




Did even the most cynical among us think that the left-wing journalists had a truly orchestrated plan to slant the media?

Probably not.

The assumption many of us have thought is that the mainstream old media consists of a lot of likeminded people who reinforce their biases and beliefs through their interaction and socializing, but to think that some members of the media were actively engaged in producing purposely slanted news might have seen like a stretch, until now.

Starting with the issue of Reverend Jeremiah Wright and its possible harm to the Obama campaign, a group of journalists discussed how to keep a lid on the story and create smokescreens to bottle up those intent on making a big issue of the dangers Wright posed.

The strategy, label key conservatives as racists.

The story is being widely reported today, but rather than offer support from Fox News or Brietbart who the left will quickly attempt to smear as hostile right wing sources, let’s go to The Christian Science Monitor. Today they’ve published an expose revealing some very disturbing media tactics.

Numerous left wing media members belong to an Internet group called JournoList until the list was recently disbanded. It provided a means by which like minded leftists could communicate ideas and strategies to others including spin factors on how to cover certain news events. One journalist, Spencer Ackerman sought to create a smokescreen to divert attention from the Jeremiah Wright flare up by purposely attacking prominent conservatives to make that the big story to supersede coverage on Wright. Ackerman suggested, “Pick one of Obama's conservative critics, Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares – and call them racists."

He went on to state indicating it was meant to take rhetorically, “What is necessary is to raise the cost on the right of going after the left. In other words, find a right-winger’s [sic] and smash it through a plate-glass window. Take a snapshot of the bleeding mess and send it out in a Christmas card to let the right know that it needs to live in a state of constant fear.”

The conservative site, Daily Caller, went on to report that journalists for Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the New Republic, Salon, and the Guardian were outraged at what they considered rough treatment directed at Barack Obama in debates from George Stephanopoulos and Charlie Gibson (hardly known for having conservative outlooks).

Worse, Michael Tomasky of the Guardian urged Journo-List members to do “what we can to kill ABC and this idiocy in whatever venues we have.”

The implication is clear. What was written off as the ravings of rightwing talk show hosts and columnists has far more real substance than ever imagined previously. The voracity of news coverage must be further viewed with doubt and skepticism. Accusations directed at Obama critics must be further filtered for the motive behind the accusation. Clearly, the insinuation has been since the early days of the presidential candidate selection process – those who don’t buy into the myth of Obama, write gleefully about what a historical wonder he represents, or suggest any criticism of him whatsoever do so at their own peril at the risk of being branded a racist.

Since the victory of the civil rights movement and ascent of political correctness, there is no more damning accusation than one being labeled “racist.” Lives and reputations have been destroyed by such charges. However, with what has been played up in the media and the degree to which charges of racism are being so casually hurled about, the true evil of racism is being diminished where the charges themselves don’t carry the weight they once did because of the intense demagoguery and character assassination voices of the left have perpetrated especially in support of Obama and the attempts to destroy his critics. More and more, Saul Alinsky’s tactics defined in his Rules for Radicals have become the modus operandi of the radical left or self-described “progressives.”

The left have shown time and time again whether it is what the media has demonstrated in this reportage or how the Obama administration with the Pelosi/Reid led legislature attempts to ramrod its agenda into practice, in their world the end result justifies whatever means are necessary to achieve it. Lies, distortions, false accusations, and character assassination are all fair game when going against those who don’t support their agenda.

All right-minded Americans must find this conduct unacceptable and make sure those who practice it are held accountable for their behavior. Whether it is voting out of office corrupt leaders or refusing to support inflammatory media sources, their treachery will not be tolerated. Whether we like it or not, we are all soldiers or prisoners in a great cultural war. Do we support a constitutional republic or will we allow our society to degenerate into a socialist collective?

Zero Tolerance Discipline: This Nonsense Must Stop NOW!!!!




Earlier this week, we reported about a six year old Cub Scout who was expelled from school for bringing a “spork” to school from his scout gear, a device that can be used as a fork, spoon, and knife. The child was apparently so overjoyed to be in scouts he wanted to use the device to enjoy his lunch at school.

Now an Eagle Scout, 17 year old, Matthew Whalen, in upstate New York has been suspended for an extended period because he had a 2” pocket knife, given him by his grandfather, locked in a survival kit in his car. The missed school days could pose a “big problem” for his application to the U.S. Military Academy. The school in the Landingburgh School District in upstate New York is yet another institution that buys into the mad paranoia that creates this kind of academic Fascism. A board official described the penalty as “appropriate and fair.” Adding insult to injury, school superintendent George Goodwin quoted in the Albany Times Union stated, “Sometimes young people do things they may not see as serious. We look at any possession of any type of knife as serious.”

How bone-headed and arbitrary can discipline be and what lessons are being taught other than institutions are bullheaded, inflexible, lack common sense, and put their own bureaucratic standards above the well-being of the students?

In this episode, there was no clear and present danger or any intent to do harm. The knife was but one item among other camping gear secured in a car, not being carrying in a threatening manner in any way whatsoever.

If our school administrators can’t see the harm this does for students and what an ineffective joke their shallow-minded, mean-spirited policies are, is it any wonder public schools are such a waist heap today?

The lethal combination of political correctness and zero tolerance policies against the backdrop of a consistently far left-wing political agenda goes a long way to explain why schools are failing so miserably. They’ve invested their efforts in things that have nothing to do with helping students learn necessary skills, develop an appropriate knowledge base, and be encouraged to demonstrate positive meaningful values.

Enough! This must stop.

Meatless Mondays: What Are Meatheads Thinking?


There's a national campaign going around called "Meatless Monday" and that's supposed to be a good thing. Naturally, PETA's a big part of it, but now Baltimore City Public Schools is being praised for adopting meatless menus on Monday. WHOOPEE-DOO!!!

First, does this not presuppose eating meat is a bad thing? Second, don't the schools of Baltimore City have far more important things to deal with?

Quality meat is one of life's great pleasures and in the context of a balanced diet, a good source of protein and other vital minerals. There's nothing wrong with eating meat per se but done so responsibly shopping for lean cuts where possible and monitoring how much is consumed as part of one's overall diet. This writer is very chauvinistic on this matter. We did not go through millions of years of evolution to get to the top of the food chain to eat nuts and berries!!!
Yes, we should discourage massive Mickey D and Burger King infusions, but even there, an ocassional burger is not a terrible thing. When thinking through the school's program, what is the message and is it appropriate?

Of course, in the broader context of what's happening in Baltimore City schools, the whole thing seems silly. Where kids are beating the crap out of each other, attendance rates are low, drop out rates are high, and overall performance is terrible, there are lots of things to work on far more important than some silly reformist nonsense. Despite the state adjusting funding needs providing Baltimore tons of per pupil funding, where are the results? Surely not at the local school or in the classroom. What school system has the most bloated bureacracy? Duh, that would be Baltimore City.

The bottom line is eating meat is a personal decision and a responsible diet is not a matter of whether or not one consumes meat. If a person doesn't want to eat meat, that's fine. There are plenty of other possibilities -- soy burgers, tofu, and whey powder. Find a context where people are having eating meat forced upon them and that would be wrong. Why is it then that that so many vegitarians insist on making their business others' business?

Schools would be better off if every little cause-du-jour that the high-minded self-styled "progressives" would be avoided as clearly the emphasis needs to be on clearly expressed values: respect for authority, killing and beating up others is unacceptable, stealing and destroying others' property is wrong, and you're too damned young to have sex, got it? From there, reading, writing, and computation skills are essential, but all schools need to provide a good well-rounded program that prepares kids for responsible PRODUCTIVE lives.

More Obama Indoctrination in Elementary Schools

Here's the lyrics to the pro-Obama indoctrination piece children at Sand Hill Venable Elementary school were herded together to perform. Note not only the extent to which Barack Obama is portrayed in glowing heroic, almost savior like terms, but also the way his campaign themes and slogans are interwoven into the passage.

Marxist Style Indoctrination of Early Childhood Students Spreads to Asheville, NC

At Sand Hill Elementary school, elementary school children once again appear in a North Korean style salute to the Supreme Leader style presentation in which their chant works in Obama campaign slogans establishing him as a heroic figure for promoting hope and education.

Surely promoting critical thinking is a very low priority in this school!!! Using school children as pawns being brainwashed to support a specific political ideology and deifying the President of the United States through such mind-numbing techniques is as inexcusable as it is dangerous. Of what educational benefit is it to compel children to chant political slogans at the expense of helping them understand issues that these slogans promote from an explicitly left-wing point of view?

If the goal is helping kids understand the importance of education, having them recite slogans followed with “Hope” and “Yes we can.” is no way to do it.

This is the second example of blatant politicizing the learning environment for very young elementary school children attempting to indoctrinate them into the Obama agenda before they reach the instructional level where they’re ready to learn such concepts objectively (if there are still public schools that teach the political process devoid of liberal talking points). No one should be surprised if YouTube isn’t flooded with more examples of such insanity in the days ahead.

As disturbing as these events themselves is the deafness to criticism the holier than thou school officials demonstrate in response to criticism. They’re more concerned about punishing those who would post what they are doing on the Internet as if what happens in PUBLIC schools is a private matter than fulfilling their responsibility to the community’s they serve.

That children could be forced to act as stone faced innocent zombies giving voice to left-wing political messages is disturbing enough, but what does this say about the intellectual climate within public schools that make teachers and administrators think that staging such activities could ever be acceptable.

Once again, it shows the elitist, “we know what’s good for you and the rest of the world” attitude that permeates all institutions from education at all levels from small local elementary schools to the nation’s top universities where left-wing dogma prevails. Parents and the taxpayers in the community are seen as an intrusive enemy threatening their mission to do what they consider is necessary to achieve their agenda.

In so doing, schools have become laboratories of socialist indoctrination where teachers and students understand both implicitly and explicitly that no mention of God or spiritual values dare be expressed where students are even reprimanded and punished for expressing their faith in the classroom and school activities.

While forcing school prayer on students would be dead wrong, such a concept is essentially the same kind of abuse as making kids parrot idiotic pro-Obama talking points. The same forces who stridently support left-wing brainwashing are likewise the first to silence expression of traditional values especially when they involve any notion of a Creator.

It’s time for patriotic Americans to be angered into action against the garbage the radical left is spoon feeding our children.

Cry me a river, however, if she works out when Geraldo or Glenn Beck are on, who could blame her? If that's not the case, we forward her case to Bill O'Reilly. We think we found a pinhead.

A Little Rant


I love the prospect of folks protesting Barack Obama but what's going on in Pittsburgh in response to the G-20 summit is a different matter. It wouldn't matter who was President of the United States, there's a crowd that is a attracted to these events like a pile of poop draws flies, and their collective intellect and value to the planet surely put them somewhere between such flies and dung beetles.
Who are these dopes and where to they come from?
They try to find boogie men in the free enterprise system, big corporations, and just about anything that is a pillar of civilization. Between the ones who identify themselves as anarchists or extreme leftists, these are not folks who are true victims of society. They are not folks who've toiled in manufacturing for years to lose their jobs thanks to a shrinking domestic industrial base. They are not folks pushed out of jobs because government regulations regulated their jobs out of existence. Many of them look like nutcase groupies for types of pop music few sensible people would listen to. They look like direct descendents from the glue-sniffers of the 1960's -- stupid spoiled rotten white kids who have no clue just how damned lucky they are for all they have but somewhere they got their wires crossed and feast on the hands that feed them who allow them to be brooding, self-absorbed punks who really have nothing to say.
There is no excuse for busting up cities, smashing windows of "corporate" entities like KFC, Subway, and others that were mentioned as places hit during the Pittsburgh riot. We see they're full of anger, but if it's because no one takes them seriously and avoids them like the plague one good look in the mirror would tell them why.
While we deplore communists, radical environmentalists, and other extremists causes, at least with some of them, one can identify a true philosophy and logic, albeit it distorted and wrong, for the conclusions they draw. What's so obvious about the morons who roam the earth for opportunities like G-20 summits for their big coming out events is how superficial their instincts are. Their attitude is everything sucks, nilhists of the first degree.
The problem is should any of them get bloodied by police response or shot dead for resisting arrest and continuing their mayhem, who gets portrayed as the bad guys in the world press?
Behavior has consequences and these lowlifes need to pay for their criminal behavior. They can demonstrate all they like in an orderly way, but when their purpose is to do nothing more than stir up chaos destroying property and preventing citizens from going about their day-to-day business, they must pay the price. A good woody shampoo is fine with me. The civilized world needs to take the board of education to their seats of knowledge.

Jimmy Carter Plays the Race Card


Surprise, surprise, surprise, where else but on NBC Nightly News would the following take place an interview with former President Jimmy “Peanuts” Carter and the subject of opposition to Barack Obama’s policies would come up.

Jimmy Carter, perhaps the most incompetent President since Warren Harding prior to Barack Obama’s arrival, has gone off the deep end in left-wing politics in recent years redefining an image he earned as a lousy President but a noble former President for his work helping launch Habitat for Humanity and supporting other helpful causes. In the late years of the Clinton Presidency and surfacing in full bloom once George W. Bush was elected, Carter decided to become quite outspoken, his views far to the left of even prevailing liberal views in the Democratic party coming darned close to supporting 9/11 conspiracy theories but showing total contempt for Israel making comments that would come darned close to full-blown anti-Semitism.

One could certainly infer that if Carter is not a full-blown anti-Semite, certainly his sympathies lean in that direction, as such, isn’t it ironic that the Georgia peanut farmer would accuse foes of Obama policies as racist?

Surely right minded thinkers know exactly what to make of the following comments from Carter:

Let’s be clear, were Jimmy Carter to propose something as radical as Obama’s attempt to have the government seize control of the health care industry, the reaction would likewise be severe. If Jimmy Carter surrounded himself with known radicals who profess their support for communism, he would have paid a severe political price.

It’s unavoidable. For anyone to step up and disagree with Obama administration actions, policies, and proposals can only be motivated by one thing: RACISM. The left contends that those opposed to the rapid acceleration toward socialism; the attempts to seize control of the American health care system by the government; seemingly unconditional support of organized labor; the appointment of administration Czars, many of them with extreme radical credentials, outside the confirmation process to create policy; association with criminal organizations like ACORN; and support for unprecedented Federal spending racking up trillions of dollars in debt are doing so for but one motive, they cannot accept a black person as President.

Got that? So everyday Americans would accept the concerns mentioned above if Hilary Clinton, Chris Dodd, or John Edwards had won the Democratic nomination? If there’s anything peculiar that subjects Barack Obama to more intense criticism it could be the pure hypocrisy embodied in his approach, that he worked hard to present himself as above petty politics projecting a high-mindedness to rise above Washington pettiness when in practice, his approach has been the ultimate illustration of, “my way or the highway.” That he would indicate while not knowing all the facts, the Cambridge police acted stupidly shows how quick Obama is to pass summary judgment on those who confront his sacred cows, in this case, the arrest of one of his Harvard faculty supporters. To see the obvious contradictions and shoot from the hip opinions and characterizations is viewing the Obama administration through racist eyes, his supporters maintain.

After the initial tea party demonstrations, Janeane Garafulo blasted participants as exhibiting racism “plain and simple” that they could not deal with a black President. Such characterizations would not surprise anyone coming from the notorious Hollywood bomb thrower. However, the same sentiments have been echoed time and time again from Atlanta, Georgia, comments made by Atlanta Journal Constitution editorial writer, Cynthia Tucker to radicals associated with Obama himself.

No one could show this attitude better than Pulitzer Prize winner, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, a vicious critic of anyone daring to stray from left wing orthodoxy who blasted the previous administration’s every turn. Using the recent Joe Wilson episode as her launching pad, she used the matter to stomp on anyone with the audacity to suggest the Obama administration might be leading the nation off course.

She wrote:
“Joe Wilson yelled “You lie!” at a president who didn’t.

But, fair or not, what I heard was an unspoken word in the air: You lie, boy!”

She continued:
“Wilson clearly did not like being lectured and even rebuked by the brainy black president presiding over the majestic chamber.

I’ve been loath to admit that the shrieking lunacy of the summer — the frantic efforts to paint our first black president as the Other, a foreigner, socialist, fascist, Marxist, racist, Commie, Nazi; a cad who would snuff old people; a snake who would indoctrinate kids — had much to do with race.”

Through out her column, she ties together a mixture of assertions largely reinforcing stereotypes the ivory tower elitists have toward the south as if nothing’s changed since the days of slavery and segregation. Her pseudo-intellectual brow-beating Obama critics using grandiose posturing reveals unvarnished contempt for the rest of us who’ve reached our conclusions outside the constant drumbeat of the left-wing elite.

By labeling critics as racist, Dowd casts them as inferior people beneath the level of worthiness to engage in serious debate. Under this scenario, they’ll continue to prescribe what’s good for the rest of us and we’re just too stupid or bigoted to know what they’re doing is for our own good.

The huge turnout in Washington, DC this weekend to protest the “brave new world” Obama-nation is thrusting upon us shows thousands of Americans have had enough and will not be intimidated.

Once the fear of being branded “racist” could be a dangerous and effective tool of intimidation, but in recent months, the left has so blatantly resorted to this kind of vile manipulation those intent to support limited government, Constitutional rule of law, and traditional values will no longer be silenced.

The Democrats Are at It Again: Punishing Joe Wilson


The House Democrats Need to Chill

Get a load of this, Rep. Joe Wilson yelled out, “you lie!” during President Barack Obama’s health care sales pitch to Congress. While he was correct in pointing out the President was lying and yelling “BULLSHIT” would have been every bit as accurate, in civil society our elected officials should not behave in such an uncivil manner and behave like grown ups.

Mr. Wilson issued an apology. He said what needed to be said. Apparently, the White House accepted the apology though don’t be surprised if they don’t try to score political points for this episode later. The Democrats demand more. Wilson must make a formal apology on the House floor. Meanwhile the party leaders have activated the democratic Congressional Campaign to go wild raising money for his challenger, Rob Miller. Wilson maintains he’s apologized sufficiently and will not give into partisan demands that he apologize more publicly. CASE CLOSED!!!!

If we are to criticize inappropriate behavior making accusations of lying, let’s look at the accusations Nancy Pelosi hurled at the CIA on the record. Now there’s a charge that demands some major action and if she weren’t the mother hen of the House, surely she’d deserve a strong rebuke, possibly censure for her idiocy. WHEN IS NANCY PELOSI GOING TO APOLOGIZE TO THE FINE PROFESSIONALS IN THE CIA SHE TRASHED?

The difference between Wilson and Pelosi is that Wilson attacked a political target while Pelosi attacked a group of highly dedicated non-partisan professionals some of whom lay their lives on the line for our nation’s security which is more than anyone could ever suggest of the House Speaker with her sense of royal entitlement.

It’s always fascinating to see the Democrats play the “my shit doesn’t stink” game. There isn’t a sane person in the world who wouldn’t want to avoid a partisan farting contest, the elephant versus the jackass.

Meanwhile, back home in South Carolina where Joe Wilson’s behavior really matters, some folks are just fine with his situation. Within 48 hours of his outburst during Obama’s speech, he raised close to $750,000 for his reelection campaign.

The Democrats must be confident the press will cover their back when it comes to vicious accusations of lying. Run the tapes and see what folks like Barney Frank, Harry Reid and others have had to say about George W. Bush when they were in the minority party. At least there is substantial truth in Joe Wilson’s charge based on the track record of the efforts in congress to seize control of the nation’s health care.

If it’s fair to ask for Wilson’s apology, we demand the same of the Democrats for Nancy Pelosi accusing the CIA of lying and the many instances where similar accusations were hurled by several prominent Democrats at George W. Bush and Dick Chaney. In this farting contest, they’ll find out whose shit stinks the most.

Van Jones

The sickly bias or "slobbering love affair" as Bernie Goldberg calls it between the mainstream elite media and Barack Obama has never been clearer than their lack of coverage of Van Jones, a convicted criminal, a self-professed communist, vicious race baitor, and committed radical who served as the Obama administration's "Green Jobs Czar." Remember, the stimulus package was supposed to create thousands of "green jobs." While the notion of "green jobs" in itself is not a bad thing, considering the administration's ideology combined with a detestable figure like Jones being in the driver's seat is very disturbing.


Over the past couple weeks, the alternative media: Internet sources, blogs, Fox news, and talk radio have provided example after example, many simply You Tube video recordings of Jones' speeches, of intense hatred, extreme radicalism, contempt for the free enterprise system, and radical ideology. Further, Van Jones is yet another signature on a 9/11 "Truth" petition supporting the contention that the Bush administration had advanced knowledge or was complicit in the 9/11 attacks by radical Islam.
Anyone can simply enter Van Jones in for a Google search and VIOLA!!!

What every American needs to consider is how and why would the Obama administration appoint someone so vile to such a high profile or any post. If somehow they thought he was a qualified fellow and were unaware of his baggage how shoddy can their hiring procedures and background checks be? It is an almost impossible stretch to believe they could be that horrendous. More likely, they had some strong motives for wanting this fellow on their team. We hate to think what those motives are.


This should be front page news, but has received almost no press whatsoever among the top news papers and network nightly news. These same news sources do cover his resignation with headlines like the Washington Post noting, "Resignation Reveals Vetting Lapses."


Further adding insult was the way Jones resigned taking parting shots all the way on a holiday weekend when nobody would be watching. This fellow is one angry, committed radical whose rhetoric is more consistent with the Black Panthers than Franklin Roosevelt or Martin Luther King.
Given his spoken words are every bit as inflammatory as Jeremiah Wright's, this must be a wake up call that there is no denying, no hiding, no sugar coating that the President of the United States is a committed and dangerous radical who we must do everything to prevent from having his influence spread any further or for his radical agenda to succeed.

Ted Kennedy: 1932-2009


What is a more difficult moral dilemma than dealing honestly with the history of one’s adversary than during the immediate post-mortem of that adversary’s death?

Surely, we celebrate without gloating when evil dictators who threaten the world’s security and brutally oppress their own populations at the time of their passing. When a dangerous murder suspect turns up dead, we stand relieved. We look at those who lived reckless lifestyles who meet their end with a sense of, “they had it coming, didn’t they?”

How do we deal with those who function within our system but we feel are clearly dangerous to our way of life? How do we maintain our resolve when there is a genuine outpouring of grief for our greatest adversaries who we’ve worked so hard to defeat and discredit through the years?

What is the right way for us to put the death of Ted Kennedy in perspective?

One thing is for certain, the death of Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy will serve as a rallying cry for the extreme left, those who believe in big government solutions and all aspects of the Liberal creed as it has evolved to what it is today. From early in his career, Ted Kennedy championed notions of government run health care for all. What clearly will develop in the hours and days ahead is a highly emotional attempt to make Ted Kennedy a martyr for the current push for the government seizure of our ability to choose our own health care options.

Sure, this is not the time to trump up insults and personal attacks against Ted Kennedy, but we must be clear and truthful what he represented because his legacy will live on, and in the short term, his name and spirit will be attached to so much monkey business the Democrats will attempt to thrust upon us.

With the election of John F. Kennedy as President in 1960, the short-lived era of “Camelot” was upon us, for the romantic Democratic mindset, this youthful President with his fashionable wife represented an American kind of royalty. The association between Democratic leaders and Hollywood fell into place with even a drunken Marlyn Monroe singing a sultry happy birthday to the President. However, the concept of an American royal family ran deeper into the operation of government itself. Robert Kennedy became his brother’s attorney general. Thus it was in keeping with the family business that Teddy would run for Senator for Massachusetts in 1962. Just barely a year later, President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas so it was then Bobby’s turn to move up as the standard bearer for the Kennedy clan. He’d remain in the justice department long enough to antagonize Lyndon Johnson severely, but clearly his personality was too strong and his political differences too intense to stay with the Johnson administration. Using New York’s favorable laws, Robert ran for New York Senator putting the two surviving Kennedy brothers both in the United States Senate. The attention remained riveted on Robert as he became one of the country’s most outspoken critics of the Vietnam War leading him to run for the Presidency in 1968. Lyndon Johnson realized he couldn’t possibly battle the Kennedy charisma and political machine, so he stepped aside. As the primary season marched along, Robert Kennedy looked like the inevitable winner and more emotion went his way with the shocking assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King on April 4, 1968. Robert Kennedy wove the civil rights conviction of Dr. King in with the carefully crafted image of Kennedy idealism as his candidacy exploded. It was on to California which could very well have been the coronation of the Democratic nominee.

As the victory celebration was winding down, a 24 year old Palestinian shot Robert Kennedy at close range with a .22 caliber pistol throwing the Democratic Presidential sweepstakes in chaos and a family’s tragedy into misery beyond belief having lost the first son, Joseph, in an aircraft accident in World War II, but now with two more brothers both murdered, Edward Kennedy stood alone.

Ted had neither the great legacy of PT-109 fame and charisma of John, nor did he have the intense focus and drive willing to take on the Mafia and Lyndon Johnson’s war policies like Robert. He did have the Kennedy name, but Teddy was seen as the runt of the litter, the spoiled little rich boy with a little too much love for the party life, but now he was the family leader. He’d have huge shoes to fill and be under constant scrutiny.

As the days of Richard Nixon began, America wondered how Ted Kennedy would serve as a member of the opposition, but before his political identity could really take shape, he created his own disaster. While the whole story will never be known, while America was drawn to the Apollo 11 moon mission on July 18, 1969, Ted Kennedy was partying on Chappaquiddick Island at Martha’s Vineyard. Leaving the party with a former aide to his brother, Robert, Mary Jo Kopechne, he drove off the Dike Bridge into Poucha Pond Inlet leaving Kopechne trapped in the car while Kennedy swam for safety. Kennedy did not report to authorities until after Kopechne’s body was found the following day.

While the uproar was substantial and questions unanswered, Kennedy copped a plea of leaving the scene of an accident receiving a two month suspended jail sentence. Kennedy went before the cameras acknowledging, "I regard as indefensible the fact that I did not report the accident to the police immediately" but denied being drunk or having a relationship with the deceased young lady.

Subsequent investigations under orders from the Massachusetts highest court concluded parts of his statement were not true. A grand jury investigated but issued no indictment only confirming “negligent driving.” Despite a continuous buzz and much criticism over the Chappaquiddick tragedy, Kennedy won his second term to the senate with 62% of the vote.

Through the 70’s he became a firm fixture of the Democratic party in the Senate to where he would be seen as the true anchor of the most liberal faction of the Democratic party that was had been moving substantially to the left in the wake of the Great Society and Vietnam war becoming less the party of the working class but more one of a far reaching big government agenda.

Jimmy Carter, who was one of the first wave of “new Democrats” supposedly more pragmatic and less big government oriented, posed a contrary philosophy for the direction of the party, with the two of them forming opposing polarities of the party leading to Ted Kennedy to challenge Jimmy Carter, the incumbent President, in the 1980 primary elections which were hotly contested. Though Carter had enough delegates to win the nomination, Kennedy took his fight to the convention but the tactic was futile having won just 10 primaries to Carter’s 24. Kennedy’s attempt to free up committed delegates failed so Kennedy withdrew his challenge but he still had much fight left in him delivering a stinging address asserting the values of Liberalism. The Democrats beat up each other so badly in the 1980 campaign, but the tide of conservatism led by Ronald Reagan would be unstoppable, but Ted Kennedy would soldier on in the Senate as the personification of almost everything Reagan’s reforms were aimed at undoing.

As the tide of rational conservatism, a new sense of American pride, and renewed clout of the free enterprise system swept the land, Ted Kennedy was the most powerful voice for the big government, “great society,” welfare state approach. If Republicans and conservatives needed to mobilize their faithful, simply invoking the name of Ted Kennedy activated the forces. Kennedy fought Reagan’s build up of national defense and his foreign policy initiatives which led to the fall of Soviet communism.

While his political efforts continued, his health and behavior became the subject of scrutiny and ridicule shown as an obese heavy drinker. His reputation and perception of acting above the law as an immoral sot than being implicated with his nephew, William Kennedy Smith who many believe used the Kennedy clout and wealth to beat a rape charge. Ted Kennedy testified in that trial.

At no time did Kennedy’s ability to polarize the debate and perhaps set the stage for the partisan struggles that followed than his behavior during the hearings for Reagan Supreme Court Nominee Robert Bork. Viciously attacking Bork as the personification of everything the liberal movement believes, his angry tirade still echoes on Capitol Hill.

“Robert Bork's America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens' doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists could be censored at the whim of the Government, and the doors of the Federal courts would be shut on the fingers of millions of citizens ...”

These over-the-top remarks helped rally the forces sending Bork’s nomination to defeat creating a new concept in Washington politics where anyone whose reputation gets beaten and bloodied through vicious insinuations and character assassination is known as being “borked.”

Every subsequent Republican nominee except perhaps David Souter who proved to be one of the court’s most Liberal justices appointed by George H.W. Bush got the “Bork” treatment in some measure.

On a personal level, Ted Kennedy’s wild ways were tamed considerably upon marrying his second wife, Vicky, much younger who helped him overcome his health and behavioral demons focusing on his political goals. She ruled over him with a firm, caring hand.

He was no friend of the Clintons who were much more political opportunists than committed ideologues for Kennedy’s liking never the less, his position as the face of the Democrats in the Senate remained unchallenged. While President Clinton often pursued a more pragmatic agenda though appointing generally very left wing judges, Kennedy was seen as the heart and soul of the left wing base of the party but as the 90’s came to an end, more vicious and further left members of the Senate including Charles Schumer, John Kerry, and Barbara Boxer became much more vocal and more clearly hard left figures than Kennedy who took on more a roll of elder statesman.

To the surprise of some, he partnered with President George W. Bush to enact No Child Left Behind, a measure that was hard to take by both the extreme left and right, but on most scores, he was one of the Bush administration’s worst nightmares.

In 2001, Hilary Clinton became Senator of New York in much the same way Robert Kennedy did as only setting up residence in New York essentially in time for the election. Many saw their relationship as rivalry for supremacy within the party. Thus when the Presidential field for 2008 developed, Ted Kennedy enthusiastically endorsed Barack Obama for President giving the inexperienced Illinois radical senator a huge boost and instant credibility.

Kennedy suffered a massive brain seizure on May 17, 2008 which revealed he had a malignant glioma, a lethal brain cancer. Regardless, to the fullest extent possible, Kennedy supported Barrack Obama and the push for the government seizure of individual health care.

Having served over 46 years in the Senate, Ted Kennedy’s imprint is enormous. Unquestionably, as one of the Senate’s most staunchly left wing voices and one of the institution’s most outspoken voices, few senators appeared more polarizing than the Massachusetts Democrat.

Time will tell what his long lasting legacy will be and who will assume his high profile voice in the Senate. He unquestionably leaves a leadership void. Will there be a more moderate alternative or will it give members like Chuck Schumer and Chris Dodd to play a bigger role.

Right minded citizens cannot let opportunists use his death as an emotional wedge to elevate support for the government health care seizure.

How many public figures have less charisma than John Kerry? The self-righteous, humorless, dull-witted senator couldn't offer a few words of levity if his life depended on it. Nevertheless, in addressing a group of civic leaders, the Massachusetts dullard fancied himself his own David Letterman when he quipped:


“Too bad, if a governor had to go missing it couldn’t have been the governor of Alaska. You know, Sarah Palin.’’

First, we’re going to call Senator Barbara Boxer what this unfortunate general could not, “Bitch!” Oops, now we’ve done it, we do not mean to offend any dog lovers who have female boxers at their pets. In testimony, Madame Boxer was offended that she was addressed as ma’am not Senator, and that’s disrespectful?
To make matters worse, Boxer-bitch took a swipe at the General indicating she had worked hard to earn the title of Senator. Woo-hoo, and how many people did she stab in the back and abuse to get there? We will assume the General performed with far greater distinction and worked much harder than a shameless bitch who rode special interest support into the Senate.

We would consider the offense to be this arrogant, pompous Senator’s hectoring, condescending attitude to a member of the military who protects her freedom and power whether she is pro-military or a whacked-out far left idiot.

We couldn’t help thinking during the David Letterman scandal for his demeaning, sexist attacks against the Palin family, Alex Rodriguez, and flight attendants, we haven’t heard from Bill Maher recently. If anyone can come up with something more insulting and further out of left field, Maher will come through with flying colors.

Bill Maher just defined his perspective on the political landscape and where things stand on the left/right axis. One might infer that he would think Vladimir Lenin would be considered a mainstream centrist in Maher’s book.

Can anyone explain Maher’s irrational hatred of Christians? In his world, Christians are mindless little people who are barely worth his effort to talk down to. In response to Maher’s religion bashing movie, wouldn’t it be fun to do a counter production beginning with Maher’s appointment at St. Peter’s gate? Who’s sorry now, Billy?

Bill Maher is a great argument for cable and dish TV subscribers to save a few bucks and cancel HBO.

Obama Snubbs Mayors: Disturbing Insight into Priorities


President Barack Obama declined an invitation to address the 77th Annual Conference of Mayors to avoid crossing a picket line by Providence, Rhode Island firefighters protesting a contract provision seeking contribution to their health insurance, a fact of life for millions of employees who have employer provided health care. Not only did the President not attend, but the administration offered no surrogates to represent the administration.

On thing that is absolutely consistent about the Obama administration, its unqualified support for organized labor on every front whether it is stiffing the nation's mayors for their annual meetings, his support for the outrageous anti-democratic "card-check" provision, or the numerous concessions to the United Auto Workers in the Chrysler and General Motors financial settlements giving the unions a majority share of the industries they were culpable in destroying. Further, legitimate stake holders, those owning company bonds, were railroaded from what would have been entitled to them by law by standard bankruptcy law bumping the unions ahead of them in who gets what.

Labor has been in decline for decades and America has been better off as a result. Sadly, in just five months, Barack Obama has almost completely undone all the progress made to contain labor union abuse since Ronald Reagan exercised the kind of leadership required when he fired striking air line traffic controllers who were forbidden by law to strike.

There is nothing good for average American working people from Obama's pro-labor approach. Meanwhile, successful companies that provide value for millions of Americans such as WalMart are clearly targetted to use new laws to accomplish what unions have not been able to accomplish through fair and legitimate means.

Public employee unions represent even a bigger threat since there is no segment of the economy the current regime seeks to grow more than the public sector. To that goal, his stiffing America's mayors speaks volumes of whose more important between elected leaders who have many concerns to address on the Federal level to corrupt special interest groups who serve as the rock solid foundation for the President's political base.

Perhaps taxpayers should form a picket line around the White House and dare the President to cross the line.
