The future is at hand. One road leads to stability and measured reform. The other road leads to the destruction of the American economic system that has given the United States the highest standard of living in the world and greater opportunity to achieve unbelievable wealth and success by the virtues of free enterprise, hard work, and respect for the rule of law envisioned in the Declaration of Independence and spelled out in the Constitution which of course includes the Bill of Rights. One road leads to judicial appointments for justices who hold The Constitution as the decisive authority guiding all judicial action. The other road leads to an activist judiciary that defines its own judical values and rules accordingly often in stark defiance to the Constitution.

Travel one road, success and wealth are virtues when obtained through hard work and creating goods and services of value. Innovation for the good of society can come from anywhere and the opportunities are immense. Jobs are created out of geniune need for talent and service. Travel the other road, and wealth is seen as ill-begotten. The government should determine what the population's income needs are and the tax system, in turn, would be used to seize the assets of the wealthy and be reallocated to those the government considers worthy.

Barack Obama is the most liberal Senator of all 100 members even figuring in his dreadful attendance record. Only Senator Chris Dodd, the chairman of the committee overseeing the housing mortgage industry has received more contributions than Barack Obama, sums of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

From the days of Obama's adolescence, he has sought out radical and Marxist influences. The first was outspoken African American Marxist writer, Frank Marshall Davis, who Obama cited in his memoirs as helping him develop his sense of identify as a young black man coming of age.

In college, both at Occidental and Columbia University, Barack Obama acknowledged seeking out Marxist and Socialist professors. Reflecting on his time at Occidental, Obama stated in his memoir, Dreams From My Father: "To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully," .... "The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."

His love affair with extreme radicalism continued as he transferred to Columbia University where he participated in "the socialist conferences I sometimes attended at Cooper Union."

Additionally at Columbia, Obama noted in his memoir, "In search of some inspiration, I went to hear Kwame Toure, formerly Stokely Carmichael of Black Panther fame, speak at Columbia."

Upon moving to Chicago, Barack Obama quickly sought out the hotbeds of radical activism as championed by some of its most radical figures, notably William Ayers, who as recently as 2002 affirmed "I am a Marxist." Ayers has never denounced his terrorist behavior nor has his wife Bernadine Dohrn who has written and spoken on numerous essentially communist ideas.

Unlike many young people who embraced some aspects of radical philosophies while in college only to return to mainstream American values after maturing or being influenced by the Reagan Revolution, Obama remained steadfastly committed to his radical roots. For a young man starting to become politically ambitious, appropriate spirituality would be a plus, thus he strongly embraced the Church of Reverend Jeremiah Wright, an outspoken racist and anti-American who served as the inspitration for another Obama publication, The Audacity of Hope.

In pursuit of political fortune on Chicago's south side, Barack Obama worked through the corrupt Richard Daley machine to work toward elected office.

All these pursuits would require financing, enter Tony Resko, a convicted felon, slum lord, and influence peddler who has been cited for numerous illegal and corrupt property deals including quite a sweetheart deal on the Obama Chicago mansion.

Given Obama's record of accomplishments are so thin having arrived on the National scene just four years ago not sinking into his responsibilities as Senator to focus on his Presidential run almost immediately, we have to look at his background, the choices he has made, and the kind of people he has indicated or shown are his influences to assess his worthiness as President. He had one golden opportunity handed to him, the chairmanship of a subcommittee that deals with NATO and defense issues, but rather than seizing that moment, he never called a single meeting.

From his college days to the present, Barack Obama has dedicated his life to following the most unsavory of characters a politician could embrace, extreme radical influences: explicit Marxist radicals like William Ayers and racial demogogues like Jeremiah Wright. His ascent into politics was financed largely by dirty money -- funding from Tony Rezko. The environment from where he emerged politically was the corrupt and heavy-handed Richard Daley machine in Chicago.

With influences such as Ayers and Wright who have made no secret of their vile hatred of America and its institutions, what can we infer about Obama's intentions when his campaign rhetoric so heavy relies on trashing success and wealth, stirring up class resentment, and seeking to "spread the wealth around."

For all the greatness America has contributed to its citizens and the world, we have elected some absolutely terrible Presidents in the last half of the 20th Century. Lyndon Johnson escalated the Vietnam War into a blood bath which between his administration and Richard Nixon's lead to close to 60,000 American soldiers being slaughtered many of whom who were draftees plucked from productive lives or college and rushed off to Vietnam to die. Richard Nixon carried on the war and engaged in some of the most corrupt abuses of power revealed by the Watergate break-in. Then there was Jimmy Carter, a fellow who was into something way over his head, who let an American ally, the Shah of Iran, hang out to dry, and the Islamic Revolution seized control in Iran holding American embassy staff hostage for long over a year until Ronald Reagan was sworn in. Meanwhile, inflation and unemployment were running out of control as a rapidly shrinking industrial base and skyrocketing fuel costs helped provide mortgage rates as high as 20% while inflation continued to destroy the average citizen's buying power.

Johnson, Nixon, and Carter were far more qualified to be President with Barack Obama who enters the race with more baggage than all of them combined.

America, you must vote for John McCain. There is no wiggle room here. Yes, we have concerns about McCain's campaign, but McCain is an honorable man with tremendous experience including some personal experiences that make him uniquely qualified to deal with crisis.

Voting isn't always a matter of voting for a candidate as much as it is a matter of voting against one who is totally unacceptable. The case couldn't be clearer, you must, you absolutely must, vote against Barack Obama. Don't waste your vote on a 3rd party candidate. Though it's understandible to want to chose one of them to send the big guys a message, every vote for one of them is one that won't succeed in providing an alternative to Obama-Nation.

The choice is clear. If you love you country and believe in its future, you must cast your vote for John McCain. If you don't, you will be responsible in part for the hell that awaits our Republic should this socialist extremist be elected.

Ugly Fight In North Carolina

Elizabeth Dole was once the model of public service beginning in the Johnson Administration and working in various assignments including Secretary of Transportation for Ronald Reagan and Secretary of Labor for George H.W. Bush. For most of the 1990's, she served as President of the Red Cross then finally once her husband retired from active service returned to her home state of North Carolina to run for Senator in 2002 replacing controversial Senator Jesse Helms.

During her first term as Senator, Ms. Dole has served a rather low-key, competent term serving on the Armed Services, Banking, and Select Committee on Aging.

In a traditional Republican state, even in a difficult year for Republicans, Ms. Dole should have been a sure bet for re-election if she had run a competent campaign. Granted, she makes an easy media target given her past associations, but outside of the "Research Triangle" and Charlotte, her conservative orientation would succeed well.

For a public figure noted for her warmth and candor, she has campaigned looking downright edgy at times, but in the heat of a contested race, her campaign has sadly stepped way over the line in an attack ad against her opponent her opponent, Kay Hagan, is "godless." The athiests advocacy group, Godless America, staged a fund raising party for Hagan from which Hagan failed to disassociae herself. For this, Hagan is to be condemened as this is at the heart of the blatant secularism that is a scourge to today's Democratic party. However, the suggestion that Hagan is "godless" herself is way out of bounds clearly contrary to her background.

While we still stand behind Dole's re-election, we do so reprimanding her in strict terms. Her sensitivity in correcting this issue is expected in a prompt response. For the harm this horrible snub represents, Ms. Dole has a long record of stellar service and the danger of another Senate Seat falling to the Democrats is a risk that no Republican voter can accept. Right now, there is a very good chance the Democrats could hold sixty Senate seats enough to effectively silence the Republican opposition and make fillibusters impossible. For this alone, Dole still deserves support; however, she also deserves a very firim scolding.

Media Banned From Obama Plane

Now that the endorsements are in, the print media has performed as expected. Most major big city newspapers endorsed Barack Obama essentially echoing his themes of "change," while taking some of their left wing jabs at John McCain, once their Republican darling until he became a serious contender for the party's presidential nomination.

As Right Minded Fellow has been reporting, Barack Obama has little tolerance for anyone who would dare critique his mantra in an way or ask probing questions that reveal the contridictions and true intent of his positions.

So much for the promises of being the post partisan candidate promising an open administration where all views are respected.

Effective immediately, three major newspapers that endorsed John McCain have been booted out of the traveling press contingency that travels with the Obama campaign. The papers are, The New York Post, The Washington Times, and The Dallas Morning News.

As voters seek answers to disturbing questions about Obama's background, his political philosophy, and those who've influenced his political philosophy, the Obama campaign is acting to censor through denial the ability for truth seeking reporters to do their job.

Not since Hilary Clinton's possession of the FBI files and Richard Nixon's systematic attempts to maintain a list and investigate his critics, has the United States seen such blantant contempt for a free, open, and honest press.

In light of the investigations lead by Obama supporters working for the Ohio state government to see what dirt they can dig up on Bill the Plumber's financial and legal status for he dared to ask a heartfelt question of Obama when the candidate was canvasing this private citizen's neighborhood.

Folks who need to understand just how dangerous Obama's politics are should read George Orwell's novel, 1984, as those concepts are even more relevant today in the "information age." Also, read The Communist Mannifesto as composed by Karl Marx as not only does it reveal much insight into the economics of Obama-Nation but also how the socialist revolution seeks to corrupt society to futher its goals and create a socialist state.

Support Working America

Barack Obama urges everyone to ask their boss or professor for Tuesday off so each American can spend the day working to help his presidential campaign. While surely we'd hope that our employers would show us a little leeway to work voting into our schedule, this is one more example of Obama's brash overconfidence and total disconnect from the world of work. The best way for the economy to be strong is for people to show up and do their jobs to the best of their ability not passing out leaflets and making phone calls to support a candidate who'd glady take their money and give it to somebody else if he thinks they make too much.

Part of Obama's lack of experience is never holding a conventional wage earning job of any kind in his life. He's never been involved in any profit making operation and hasn't a clue what that reality is all about.

Naturally, that he has never had any management experieence is one of the primary factors which disqualifies him from the Presidency.

Don't let your vote do to America what the Soviet Union never could accomplish -- the destruction of the free enterprise system as we know it and your rights as a wage earner and property owner.

Remember America was founded in part from what evolved out of a tax revolt in Boston. From those origins came the Declaration of Independence which defined our basic freedoms and what the purpose of government is. Years later, the Constituion set forth the rule of law and what our rights are under that law.

Given Obama's attitude toward taxes and the court system, it's easy to see his contempt for the principles on which our republic was founded. His intellectual treason cannot be tolerated.

Obama/Biden: Continued Intolerance of Criticism

This is far from the worst example of how the Obama campaign has dealt with its critics. Quite a long trail of actions against media that doesn't report the Obama campaign through rose colored lenses has been piling up since early in the primaries whether it involves trying to get broadcasts cancelled, threats of boycotts and action against advertisers, and just a simple tirade of insults such as the frequently barbs against Syndicated Talk Show Host and Fox News Debater, Sean Hannity.

For all the talk of the Bush/Chaney administration being intolerant of dissent, where's there ever been ANY documentation. It's not like Laura Bush had an FBI file of administration critics like Hilary Clinton did. The only thing the administration has ever done is write asking for retractions of false coverage or to tell the rest of the story when news programs editted out key information to slant the message from the story.

Not since Richard Nixon has a presidential figure been so hostile toward criticism as Barack Obama. You can bet the so called "Fairness Doctrine" that will censor conservative voices on radio will be a shoe-in unless somehow the Senate can filbuster it in the next congress.

Whether it's a matter of trying to criminalize some forms of expression as "hate speech" totally contrary to the first amendment, the political sanitizing of language through political correctness, or the attempts to intimidate alternative news sources through sources like "Media Matters" which professes to correct conservative lies when in fact it generally misquotes or cuts from context items that they can create provocative snippets designed to rally their forces against their critics.

Here’s a segment from a recent CNN interview of Sarah Palin.

GRIFFIN: Governor, you've been mocked in the press, the press has been pretty hard on you, the Democrats have been pretty hard on you, but also some conservatives have been pretty hard on you as well. The National Review had a story saying that, you know, I can't tell if Sarah Palin is incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt or all of the above.

PALIN: Who wrote that one?

GRIFFIN: That was in the National Review. I don't have the author.

PALIN: I'd like to talk to that person.

The author was, in fact, distinguished National Review writer, Byron York, who actually wrote:

Watching press coverage of the Republican candidate for vice president, it's sometimes hard to decide whether Sarah Palin is incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt, backward, or — or, well, all of the above. Palin, the governor of Alaska, has faced more criticism than any vice-presidential candidate since 1988, when Democrats and the press tore into Dan Quayle. In fact, Palin may have it even worse than Quayle, since she's taking flak not only from Democrats and the press but from some conservative opinion leaders as well.

CNN used a technique that has become standard operating procedure by the left-wing attack media and the Obama campaign to skillfully lift words spoken out of context to suit their purpose and then run with the vicious distortion as if it were true. In this instance, Byron York was commenting about the press coverage slamming Palin, yet only a small portion of his commentary was yanked out of context to fulfill the sinister purpose to mislead Governor Palin in this interview.

If voters listen to the accusations from the Obama campaign, the lying socialist pig, the democratic candidate, Barack Obama, himself, you’d have some very different ideas about some important things John McCain discussed.

In frequent stump speeches spewing insults and putdowns of the distinguished senator, Obama frequently quotes McCain’s works, “…the fundamentals of the economy are strong….” not giving the full context in which McCain was discussing what was wrong with the economy but that our work force and some other “fundamentals” were strong despite the impending crisis.

Likewise, how often have we heard, the master distortionist, Obama, state matter of factly, that “John McCain is okay with our war in Iraq lasting for at least 100 years?” In fact, McCain was discussing the broad context of what the aftermath of US military actions brings about allowing us to establish spheres of influence such as our bases in South Korea and Germany, strategic centers of power vital for national and world security.

How often has the press set the record straight on how Barack Obama has used material out of context to misconstrue the meaning of what John McCain was explaining in a thoughtful through way?

Clearly, very little because as this dreadful episode of what CNN, the press is playing the same game. Their aim is not to report the news but to make the news. The activist left-wing media is gushing to have Barack Obama and all the extreme left wing ideals and socialist policies he embraces succeed. How they look forward to being part of history to report on the great accomplishment of the United States electing its first African American president while ignoring completely the long list of dangers and total lack of qualifications the candidate Obama represents.

Anyone who does his or her homework will quickly become hip to what’s going on with the media and the Obama campaign. Sadly, what gives most voters motivation to go beyond the conventional readily available news sources like NBC, CBS, ABC or their local newspapers for their news coverage? If the public goes deeper and watches cable news, MSNBC is the most extreme of all news sources spare some newspapers. CNN often does a professional job reporting but they have jumped off into ideological grandstanding and manipulative reporting way too often. As such, CNN is not a trustworthy news source. Beyond that, the public has talk radio. Many talk show reporters offer valid perspectives but they are not journalists. They are entertainers. Their programming is opinion driven. There is a wealth of good information on the Internet, but there is also a lot of trash. Who certifies the validity of Internet sources and Blogs such as the one you’re reading right now.

We pull no punches and excuse us if we use some graphic language in discussing the treachery the Obama campaign and left-wing extremists represent, but standard objective reportage does not provide language choices that provide the sense of outrage and passion to communicate the horrors of what is happening right before our eyes. We make no apologies for being judgmental. To do an honest job telling the truth requires us to do so. Isn’t it interesting how little the news media covers the travels of Barack Obama’s Vice Presidential nominee? The story that follows provides one of the most compelling reasons not to vote for Obama especially when one considers Obama would deal with such a possibility. Ironically, as significant as these remarks from Senator Biden are, NBC chose not to report them even though their correspondent Andrea Mitchell reported on other remarks from this rally, held in Seattle, Washington.


"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy." "I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,"

"And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."In the course of this talk, Biden suggested that problems could arise from sources ranging from the Middle East to Russia. Then Biden then went on to translate these possibilities into political as well as dollars and cents terms.
"Gird your loins. We're gonna win with your help, God willing, we're gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It's like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than – think about it, literally, think about it – this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy."

Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. He went on to note that Russia tested John Kennedy’s resolve when it staged missiles in Cuba. We can also look at the Iranian revolution during Jimmy Carter’s regime where the American Embassy was besieged and its diplomats held hostage for the balance of his administration. These terrorists understood the implications what a Reagan administration would mean to them. The hostages were freed the morning Reagan was inaugurated President.

Take an honest look at the situation, those who would exploit the United States testing our security and might would see Barack Obama as a pushover compared to John McCain whose reputation and accomplishments tell them they’d be dealing with certain destruction for their actions should they test his resolve.

Samuel J. Wurzelbacher is an ordinary guy. When Barack Obama came to his community in Ohio, he decided he should attend the campaign visit to become better informed about the candidates. Wurzelbacher has saved his money and expressed his interest in buying the company that employs him. Part of his decision making process is to understand the full extent of his financial commitments including what possible tax liabilities he might face. Buying the plumbing company might put him in the $250,000 range which would, as stated frequently, put him over the threshold for higher taxes under the Obama economic and tax plan. When given the opportunity, Mr. Wurzelbacher, “Joe the Plumber,” was acknowledged by the candidate and given the opportunity to question.

"Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it?..... "more and more for fulfilling the American dream."

Obama responded, "It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too. My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

Is this the kind of CHANGE patriotic American’s would HOPE for? Where in a free society is it government’s responsibility to “spread the wealth around.” In classic economic terms, a private middle class citizen is exploring the opportunity to own his own business as a private citizen in a free enterprise system. Our Republic was founded in part on a conflict involving taxation without representation as citizens of Boston rebelled against a levy on tea imposed by the British colonial government, hence the famous “Boston Tea Party.”

Under what economic theory is the free enterprise system seen as evil and the middle class villainized (the hated bourgeoisies)? The Communist system, of course is the answer, and today’s citizens would be well served to review the historic document which paved the way for so much oppression, suffering, and death in the 20th Century. The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels is a scathing attack on the development of the growth of the middle class and free market economy developing in Europe, the United States, and around the world, as the last remnants of the feudal system where royalty was at the top, then there were layers of privileged elite, the dukes, duchesses, earls, counts, countesses, lords, and ladies all titles which identified members of the chosen families as part of the ruling class. Beneath them was a small middle class of shop owners and service providers, but the bulk of the population was the peasant class. With the emergence of democracy and the industrial revolution, Marx saw the power distributed in the upper realms of the middle class who subverted the working class into economic submission. The bourgeoisies were the “haves” and the proletariats were the “have not’s.” All struggle was, in essence, class struggle between those who controlled the means of production and those who labored to produce those products.

How revealing it is to read the Communist Manifesto in 2008 and see how much of its ideology is at the heart of what makes up Barack Obama’s vision of society, and the concept of class warfare as manipulated by the Democratic party comes directly from Marxist dogma.

Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, understood Marxism, when they became politically active in the 1960’s. Their political goals went beyond that of civil rights and stopping the Vietnam War. They sought the destruction of the American system as it existed to be overthrown and replaced by a classless society where the means of production would belong to the state and private property would not exist.

It is chilling to read the writings of Marx and Engels see how much modern liberalism, the philosophy of the far left, the views articulated by groups like MoveOn.org, The Daily KOs, and Media Matters reflect their beliefs. Further, the corruption and destruction of traditional values, the sanctity of the family, and all forms of spiritual expression were clearly articulated in the Manifesto itself.

Perhaps more chilling was how Marx and Engels recognized by infiltrating the press and the institutions of learning would be essential to help indoctrinate society into a socialist point of view.

It’s all there, plain to see in the document of world communism itself. Look through Barack Obama’s past associates and see how many of them were committed Marxists on a wide range of issues. Further, the Liberation Theology espoused by Jeremiah Wright is essentially the imposition of Marxist social and economic theory over a radicalized form of Christianity the essence of which was so clearly stated in Wright’s speeches last spring and in the video clips from his showmanship at his Chicago church.

Our society’s vision was established by the “Declaration of Independence” which established:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

The articulation of government which follows is that of a limited government to secure these goals.

In socialist society as stated by Marx, there is no individual freedom, instead, basic justice is based on the concept of:

From each according to his ability. To each according to his need.

In other words, it’s okay to “spread the wealth around. It’s good for everybody.”

Another aspect of Marxism is that their ideology is so reverent that no morality or human decency governs the spread of their control. In the pursuit of Communist revolution there is no recognition of a “Creator” who has granted us rights and responsibilities. Instead, to the devoted Marxist revolutionary, the end justifies the means. The hundreds of thousands who died as Mao Tse Tung marched east to control the Chinese mainland was absolutely justified in the context of communist teaching.

Besides the Democratic party, where is extreme left wing thinking promoted? Take a look at the news media, the college campus, and labor unions. The end justifies the means. As such, the Democratic party supports labor’s desire to eliminate secret ballots in union elections so members can be ridiculed and coerced if their vote doesn’t conform to the party line.

Small businesses like “Plumber Joe’s” are of no interest to the radical left. Of what good is entrepreneurshio? Why should an individual decide how he thinks he can best contribute to society? Maybe the state thinks his talents would be better served elsewhere. Besides that, might small businesses like his threaten larger unionized plumbing operations?

For right now, Obama will give lip service to some aspects of small business creation, but nothing reveals his inner political philosophy better than his assertion that his government is best suited for deciding where “Plumber Joe’s” money should go. The government can decide how much is too much and it’s perfectly okay to transfer one person’s earning to anothers.

Okay, enough of the intellectual documentation. Wake up and realize Barack Obama is a goddamned communist. He sure is not an American constitutionalist. Once again, I do question Mr. Obama’s patriotism. To believe in socialism is to believe in the destruction of the amazing society that grew out of the principles signed off by a dedicated group of visionary patriots in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776. Out of the carefully crafted vision of mankind and its relationship to government, the Declaration of Independence set the framework for what would become the United States of America. Years later, many of these same men would contribute to the United States Constitution and its first ten amendments we know of as the Bill of Rights.

William Ayers' Influence Makes Obama a Traitor

Barack Obama’s relationship with William Ayers alone is reason to vote against him and do everything possible to destroy his political influence. Once responsible citizens understand what William Ayers has done and what he represents coupled with his close association with Obama’s growing career in Chicago, it is obvious we’re dealing with a figure who has values that are contrary to basic American principles and one can infer border on traitorous.

There’s a person who is very interested in your knowing more about William Ayers and why Obama’s relationship with this traitor is so damaging. The gentleman is John Murtagh, a Yonkers, New York councilman, whose home was bombed by the Weather Underground when he was a child growing up. His father was a New York State Supreme Court Justice who was presiding over the trial of a notorious “Panther 21” on trial for conspiring to bomb New York landmarks and department stores. Weathermen slogans were spray painted on the sidewalks around the Murtagh residence and Bernadine Dohrn, Ayers mate, warned of more bombings. Murtagh details his experience in an article in the October 13, 2008 New York Post.

Ayers is far more than some weirdo college professor from the 1960’s, he is a traitor and conspirator in bombings that resulted in at least the death of a San Francisco police officer. People don’t understand what the Weather Underground represented. Few had any idea just how extreme some of the Radical groups of the late 60’s and early 70’s were. When the nightly news consisted of the latest bloodbath in the jungles of Vietnam and the chaos in Washington as our leaders couldn’t develop an effective exit strategy, not enough focus was dedicated to the revolution that was building in major cities and on college campuses across the country. There were plenty of anti-war groups and gatherings exposing alternative lifestyles. While many of them were pretty wacky and almost always from way out in left field, they weren’t mean spirited. They weren’t threatening the fundamentals of American society. They did not seek to topple the American government. As such, groups like the Weather Underground were often casually dismissed as just another bunch of pot-smoking weirdoes. While that might have been an appropriate stereotype for a lot of the rebel groups, that was not true of Bill Ayers and his confederates.

The Weathermen grew out of a radical faction of the Students for a Democratic Society, (SDS), one of the most extreme and overtly Marxist of activist groups of the time. While many protest groups looked to figures like Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi as roll models for their movement stressing nonviolent resistance appealing to a higher spiritually to guide their idealism. The SDS was a militant political organization drawing influence from Norm Chomsky and Herbert Marcuse, prominent social Marxists whose beliefs were widely popular among left-wing intellectuals on the college campus. Their philosophy attempted to articulate Marxism (THAT’S COMMUNISM, FOLKS!!!) in a relevant manner as a means to overthrown the American government "the destruction of US imperialism and achieve a classless world: world communism." (Quoted from You Don’t Need a Weatherman to Know Which Way the Wind Blows, their founding document.) The Weathermen drew their name from that line in Bob Dylan’s song, “Subterranean Homesick Blues.” Of course, Bob Dylan vehemently denied and constantly condemned any association with the extreme radical left even drawing fire from former friend and social activist, folk singer Joan Baez who passionately pleaded for Bob Dylan to join “the movement.” William Ayers, his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, and the rest of their organization established themselves as allies of the Black Panthers, Che Guevara’s guerillas in Latin America, and Communist movements around the world including prominent student revolts in Europe. The White race was the great oppressor, and their goal was the total subversion of Democratic Free Enterprise systems of which the United States was the most powerful and hated. Violence was a justifiable means to their ends.

Among the criminal and treasonous acts the Weathermen committed were:

Their big kick off event on October 8, 1969 was designed to riots as part of their “Days of Rage” whose mission was articulated by William Ayers who explained, “The Days of Rage was an attempt to break from the norms of kind of acceptable theatre of 'here are the anti-war people: containable, marginal, predictable, and here's the little path they're going to march down, and here's where they can make their little statement.' We wanted to say, "No, what we're going to do is whatever we had to do to stop the violence in Vietnam.'" The Weathermen had expectations of drawing thousands to participate in their kick-off riot, only to have a few hundred show up. Of the 200-300 who attended, some broke into smaller mobs that spread rioting through Chicago’s upscale Gold Coast community vandalizing a bank and smashing car windows. Eventually, the police used tear gas and drove squad cars directly at the mob. Twenty eight officers were injured and 68 of the thugs were arrested.

Their violence had another side to it, destroying properties that symbolized their “oppressors” or going after institutions that supported the war or symbolized Capitalism. Their first target was as an outgrowth of the “Days of Rage” blowing up a statue in Chicago which honored police officers who died in the 1886 Haymarket Riot. The statue was rebuilt and unveiled on May 5, 1970. The Weathermen destroyed the second statue on October 6, 1970.

After the Chicago police and FBI raided the Chicago Black Panthers headquarters at the home of Panther Fred Hampton, killing Hampton and fellow Panther Mark Clark, the Weathermen pledged even more violent rebellion. Ayers’ wife and fellow treasonous villain Bernadine Dohrn issued their position,

“We felt that the murder of Fred required us to be more grave, more serious, more determined to raise the stakes and not just be the white people who wrung their hands when black people were being murdered.”
Soon, the organization issued a “Declaration of War” against the United States government, as the “Weather Underground Organization” pledging to stage covert activities to destroy our civilization. First were preparations to bomb a non-commissioned officers’ dance at Fort Dix in New Jersey intended to be the biggest attack on the US Government within its own territory.

After that failure, the Weathermen’s next target was out west bombing the San Francisco Park police station where a pipe bomb was detonated on a window sill killing police sergeant, Brian V McDonnell and severely injuring a police officer, Robert Fogarty, who was left partially blinded by the attack.

Their violence would then spread to New York City exploding three gasoline based fire bombs at the home of State Supreme Court Justice Murtagh who was presiding over a trial of the Black Panthers for plotting to bomb New York landmarks and department stores. Also that night, bombs were hurled at a police car in Manhattan and two military recruiting facilities in Brooklyn.

In March, 1970 a group of Weathermen blew themselves up attempting to create a nail bomb at their Greenwich Village residence. Conspirators Diana Oughton, Ted Gold, and Terry Robbins died while Cathy Wilkerson and Kathy Boudin escaped. Andrew W. Mellon professor of politics and history at Emory University noted, "The only reason they were not guilty of mass murder is mere incompetence. I don't know what sort of defense that is."

Witnessing their attempts were not close to as successful as their leaders had intended, the Weathermen attempted to go “underground” and be more clandestine in their activities. They chose to attack symbols of American power such as the FBI Headquarters, Capitol and Pentagon. On June 9, 1970 they took credit for bombing a New York police station as retaliation against the death of Soledad brother, George Jackson, killed by police guards when attempting to escape prison. On May 19, 1972, Ho Chi Mihn’s birthday, they detonated a bomb in the woman’s bathroom in the Pentagon causing flooding which destroyed classified data on a computer tape in an area damaged by the flooding.

The Weathermen continued their activities most notably publishing the Prairie Fire Manifesto articulating their ideology of hatred toward all things associated with the Capitalist system and the Imperialism they asserted it represented. Ayers and Dohrn were main architects of that publication.

As the legal charges mounted, Ayers and Dohrn lived in hiding as many of their surrogates turned themselves in or were arrested. As the Vietnam War concluded and Gerald Ford pardoned draft resistors, their reason d’être was difficult to assert and the group splintered. Ayers and Dohrn turned themselves in on December 3, 1980 amidst a media circus. Though the evidence against them was overwhelming, charges were dismissed because it was revealed some evidence was seized by illegal FBI wiretaps.

Ayers and Dohrn, as a married couple, would dedicate themselves to above board causes through which they could further their radical ideology through legal means setting up shop in Chicago where they continue to prepare the world for a Communist classless society one brick at a time.

Since charges being dropped in 1980, Ayers and Dohrn have attempted to go more “mainstream” but they have never repented for their actions and their goals remain the radicalization of America and have chosen as the subversion of the educational process as the place to devote their efforts.

On September 11,2001, ironically the date of the most extreme terrorist attack ever committed against the United States, interviewed by the New York Times, Ayers stated, "I don't regret setting bombs" and "I feel we didn't do enough.” He further reflected, “do it all again" noting "I don't want to discount the possibility."

Ayers has never refuted his belief in Marxism and the methods of Chinese Communist leader, Mao Tse Tung. He has described himself as a (c)ommunist not a (C)ommunist, alleging his connection more with the actual writings and philosophy of Karl Marx not of the Communist governments allied with the Soviet Union.

It is little wonder that Ayers should seek education as a place to continue his revolutionary ideology. The grant money he administered in collaboration with Barack Obama was designed to indoctrinate students through radical teachings contrary to traditional American values. One of the fundamental positions of the Communist Manifesto as professed by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels was to “rescue education from the influence of the ruling class.” His focus in education is largely devoted to “social justice” which can translate into all kinds of radical influences and children in trouble with the law (as victims of an oppressive society.)

While a huge misinformation campaign is being waged by sympathetic elements in the press to minimize the Obama/Ayers connection, those who have a vested interest in vetting the truth such as John Murtagh can demonstrate the connection is a deep one of mutual support and one of Obama finding in Ayers a mentor to help further mold his radical political beliefs.

As our column has noted in previous discussions, the more Obama’s past is revealed and the figures who influenced him become better known, we find that his background consists of political activists full of anti-American resentment who in many instances openly embrace Marxism, religious figures like Jeremiah Wright, whose “liberation theology” adds a veneer of Christianity over essentially communist assumptions, and finally major figures in the Richard Daley political machine, one of the most corrupt and abusive political enterprises in the country.

Further, the more Obama is vetted and his biography is subjected to investigation, what no one is able to produce are those figures in Obama’s life who might have a more moderate or traditional view of America. His ideology comes from extreme anti-American activists whether they are secular influences like William Ayers or corrupted spiritual figures like Jeremiah Wright. His political methodology is a product of how things are done in Chicago, the ability to manipulate the system and engage in political opportunism for the sake of his amassing of power and influence.

Once aware of these circumstances, there is no excuse, none whatsoever to vote for Barack Obama. To do so is to vote for the destruction and corruption of the democratic and free enterprise system that are the basis of our culture. In essence, a vote for Obama is in some small but significant way, a petty act of treason, one tally against the United States of America which has afforded its people with the liberty and Constitutional rights to pursue the principles on which our country was founded in the Declaration of Independence.

Sadly, a large portion of our society came of age after the threat of communism evaporated and either weren’t born or were young children when the radical movement reached its highest levels in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Given how gruesome the war was and then to be followed by Watergate as the war began winding down, the evils committed by domestic terrorists like William Ayers was seldom given much of the attention those actions deserved.

As time passed, the radical influence prettied itself up and has become a major part of modern day journalism and education. This influence can also be seen by how activist judges have rewritten laws and issued rulings that have attacked straight on traditional American values in favor of the kind of secular, amoral society envisioned in the Communist Manifesto.

Dear Senator McCain,

What are you doing? I am furious that you suggest your supports be "respectful" of Barack Obama. You just don't get it, do you? Barack Obama is an evil man, a socialist, a slick opportunist who has a long history of involvement with extreme American haters and has been involved in enterprises that undermine the very integrity of the American system.

It would be nice if you were running the kind of campaign that would get enough voters to vote for you to win the Presidency. That's not going to happen. A lot of people need to vote for you because while they might not be wild about you, they surely want to vote against Obama-Nation.

If the truth is told, there should be plenty of fear, uncertainty, and doubt in the voters' minds that they couldn't possibly vote for Obama. Your opponent has two kinds of influences in his background, the extreme radical left that grew out of movements like the Weather Underground founded by William Ayers. His other main influence are folks associated with the corrupt and wicked political Daley machine in Chicago.

Where are the positive and uplifting influences in Obama's past? Where are there any real patriots? Where are the former military heroes? Where are the leaders from business and industry?

There are plenty of people who hate America, but he spent twenty years closely related to Reverend Jeremiah Wright who we've heard shout "God damn America."

How can we call Obama a patriot when his notion of "change" is that America is essential a bad country that needs to be rebuilt from its roots as a socialist, anti-free enterprise naion absolutely contrary to what has made our country strong for over two hundred years.

Many of us hate what Obama stands for. We seek his positions as wicked and his attitude treasonous. We see how he has a gift for sucking up to the media creating a false imagine of himself that betrays his basic politics.

You must draw the line of distinction between what you stand for and what he is all about. You must be hearing it at your "town hall" forums, the American people are pissed off. We've had enough of the kind of world the media is trying to stuff down our throats.

Look at Obama's involvement with ACORN for instance. How about all the money he got from Freddie and Fanny?

Show us the warrior. Fight, fight, fight as if the future of America depends on it. Because in truth, it probably is. I for one think you could be a pretty good President but the voters won't give you a chance if you don't give yourself a chance. You're taking shots from that traitor and not fighting back. He's also setting himself up for one issue after another that you should be able to counter and set the record straight that you are letting slide. You have to fight, fight, and fight some more.

You can do this. We're just waiting for you to show us you really want to win this thing. You keep giving Obama way too many freebies. This must stop.

Over the last thirty years, NEA and AFT through its local and state affilates have sought to politicize the classroom to conform to its dogmatic labor politics and support of far left causes and organizations. MSNBC Runs Viciously False Ad About McCain's Health

How Dirty is it Going to Get?

MSNBC saw fit to run an ad stirring up lies about the extent of John McCain’s previous bouts with cancer to suggest his health is a smoking gun issue and is trying to make forcing disclosure of his medical issues an issue in the campaign.

Meet DFA, Democracy for America. They are another one of those so-called advocacy or political action groups, which functions as surrogates for the Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate without being directly accountable to the Democratic National Committee or the Obama Campaign. As such they can function as the hatchet men for these concerns who can in turn plausibly deny their involvement (wink-wink) and say they (nod-nod) had nothing to do with their activities.

This is the link to their site which currently features perhaps the lowest of the low political ads shown so far. It suggests John McCain is purposely covering up the dangers of his previous bouts of cancer suggesting that he already has one foot in the graveyard.

The insinuation of course is that does John McCain have something to hide?

The ad has been aired by MSNBC for $50,000 paid for by Democracy for America and Brave New PAC. Democracy for America (DFA) is headquarted in Vermont headed by James Dean, brother of Howard Dean, Democratic Party Chairman, how convenient! Incidentally, these groups attempted to get Fox News Network and CNN to broadcast this hate ad. Both networks declined.

The ad shows a stark blank and white computer enhanced photo of John McCain showing his face with bandaging on the left side of his face after his 2000 surgery for skin cancer. The performer, supposedly a doctor, announces: “John McCain is 72 years old and had cancer four times.” With almost a science fiction horror movie production, the announcer then concludes, “Why won’t John McCain release his medical records?”

This hideous attack ad is a vicious attempt to make Senator McCain’s health and age an issue in the campaign. Additionally, Brave New PAC has circulated a petition with 2,500 doctors signing to urge the Republican Nominee to release his medical records.

In truth, last May, Mr. McCain released 1,173 pages of medical information to a group of reporters to examine for several hours. The records themselves were not released nor were reporters permitted to make copies. These texts cover 2000-2008 including his most severe outbreak of melanoma. Other reports have clearly stated John McCain is in superb health and his health should not be of concern.

Barack Obama has not released his health records either. Maybe we’d find out something about the extent of his admitted drug abuse including cocaine. One can only imagine.

Regardless, this is the latest of a series of ads run by various Democratic party support groups representing the most extreme faction of America’s far left.

Once again, MSNBC found no problem airing a malicious ad attacking the Republican party while on air anchors openly fawn all over Barack Obama. The network has abandoned any pretense of reporting the 2008 election honesty. They’ve established themselves as a pro-Obama advocacy group masquerading as a cable news network.

It’s time to use the remote control and avoid NBC programming to the fullest extent. The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, Dateline NBC, and all other news programming should be held as highly suspect and viewers seeking honest insights into the election must realize no such coverage is possible in such a conspicuously biased organization.

Under Jeff Zucker, NBC has gone from a network consistently producing top-rated programming to a pathetic also-ran in the TV industry. The news entity which once boasted names like Tim Russert, John Chancellor, Chet Huntley, and David Brinkley is now home to Keith Olbermann, David Gregory, and Chris Mathews, all committed and conspicuous left-wingers.

Is it any wonder, MSNBC is the only network to run the horrible hate ad discussed in this article?

Florida Congressman Takes Obama Style Prejudice Against Small Town America as Represented by Sarah Palin to a New Low

Presidential Candidates Have a Day Job To Do

If there ever was a test to show why John McCain MUST be our next President, here it is. Seriously, if you think Barack Obama is the answer there is something seriously wrong with you. Wake up!

John McCain understands something, don't quit your day job. Until and unless (hopefully) he is elected President of the United States, he is the senior Senator from Illinois. All Senators including John McCain and Barack Obama are honor bound to the people who elected them and their states to do their job. The recent economic developments cannot go unchecked. How much of the crisis is being hyped up for political opportunism is hard to assess. Anyone claiming to have quick answers, and is quick to simply the matter, is being very short-sighted and is essentially blowing smoke at this point. While the media and politicians are quick to want to assign blame, the real important job is to fully understand what led to this mess and come up with responsible solutions not to provide knee jerk, politically sexy, reactions.

Barack Obama has never taken his responsibility as Senator serious as his record, while present, puts him to the furthest left extreme beyond even the independent Socialist, Bernie Saunders from Vermont, or figures like Barbara Boxer. While never calling a meeting for a key sub-committee he chaired, Obama's tenure in the Senate has been a platform to satisfy his own enormous vanity and lust for power. Seldom in American politics has there been a more damnable figure. Obama isn't just a candidate from the opposition party, he is an enemy to the American people who must be defeated at all cost. While Obama continues to air political adds that are pure lies and deceptions, the nation's business calls upon him to be a Senator first and candidate second, but chances are he'd be on the wrong side of any solution regardless, he owes it to the State of Illinois to do the job they elected and are paying him to do. While he works with his campaign staff looking through statements from Senator McCain and Governor Sarah Palin for just the right sequence of words that can be taken out of context to create yet another sleazy attack ad, John McCain is answering the call.

What better way to see a small dress rehearsal of what kind of President each man would be. There is a crisis at hand in America which demands leadership. There are always plenty of more politically expedient things to do. John McCain has chosen to deal with the crisis. Obama is out for his own good and nobody else's except for the creepy oportunists and left wing traitors who'd benefit from an Obama Presidency while the United States as we know it goes to hell. Here it is in clear view, the American way against Obama-Nation. Take your pick.

Statement from John McCain:

America this week faces an historic crisis in our financial system. We must pass legislation to address this crisis. If we do not, credit will dry up, with devastating consequences for our economy. People will no longer be able to buy homes and their life savings will be at stake. Businesses will not have enough money to pay their employees. If we do not act, ever corner of our country will be impacted. We cannot allow this to happen.

Last Friday, I laid out my proposal and I have since discussed my priorities and concerns with the bill the Administration has put forward. Senator Obama has expressed his priorities and concerns. This morning, I met with a group of economic advisers to talk about the proposal on the table and the steps that we should take going forward. I have also spoken with members of Congress to hear their perspective.

It has become clear that no consensus has developed to support the Administrations proposal. I do not believe that the plan on the table will pass as it currently stands, and we are running out of time.
Tomorrow morning, I will suspend my campaign and return to Washington after speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative. I have spoken to Senator Obama and informed him of my decision and have asked him to join me.

I am calling on the President to convene a meeting with the leadership from both houses of Congress, including Senator Obama and myself. It is time for both parties to come together to solve this problem.
We must meet as Americans, not as Democrats or Republicans, and we must meet until this crisis is resolved. I am directing my campaign to work with the Obama campaign and the commission on presidential debates to delay Friday nights debate until we have taken action to address this crisis.

I am confident that before the markets open on Monday we can achieve consensus on legislation that will stabilize our financial markets, protect taxpayers and homeowners, and earn the confidence of the American people. All we must do to achieve this is temporarily set politics aside, and I am committed to doing so.

Following September 11th, our national leaders came together at a time of crisis. We must show that kind of patriotism now. Americans across our country lament the fact that partisan divisions in Washington have prevented us from addressing our national challenges. Now is our chance to come together to prove that Washington is once again capable of leading this country.

The World Doesn't Have Time To Blink As Far As Russia Is Concerned

Right Now Is No Time To Ignore EXTREMELY DANGEROUS THINGS Are Rapidly Advancing Overseas

Any pretense of "friendship" between the United States and Russia at this stage of the post Soviet Union world is illusionary at best. The Georgia Crisis was a flagrant attempt by the Russian Government to test Western resolve on its support of fledgling democracies that were once captive entities of the Soviet empire.

More troubling are some actions Russia is involved with outside the bounds of the old Soviet Union. First, and RMF should have made an issue of this but will monitor, are the military games Russia intends to carry out with Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. While much is made of Sarah Palin's inability to articulate what the media fabricated "Bush Doctrine" is, Russia's incursion into our hemisphere violates the most famous Presidential doctrine of all, "The Monroe Doctrine." Could it be Hugo Chavez is posturing his country to be for Russia in the 21st century what Castro had established as Cuba's roll for the Soviet Union in the late 20th Century?

Still far more dangerous, perhaps the single most dangerous issue in world events today is the probability of a nuclear-armed Iran. Given that the Iranian government is essentially one ruled by Islamic terrorists and the long list of statements of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad concerning the destruction of Isreal and even the United States and the West in general and the documented activities of Iranian scientists, how can any reasonable world leader not take this threat very seriously? Even the old Soviet Union was careful to keep the "Nuclear Club" limited.

That Russia will not join the rest of the world in doing everything possible to keep the absolute most dangerous technology out of the hands of Islamic extremists illustrates just how dangerous Putin and Medvedev are.

To what end? How does a nuclear armed Iran bordering Russia Caspian Sea region benefit the nation at all? Is Russia so desperate for quick economic gain it will gamble the world's future for the quick fix of money for its nuclear technologies? Is this a political move to show its defiance to the rest of the World?

Regardless, with all the other things our government must deal with without pause, every move Russia makes outside its boundaries has to be carefully watched for the potential danger it could represent.

Within the last two months, the Russian army invaded an independent nation, has planned war games in our backyard, and is helping Iran join the list of nuclear armed nations against the backdrop of using its energy resources to commit economic blackmail against Europe.

Political observers are found of saying, "If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it must be a duck." It doesn't take a quack to understand Russia is behaving like a first rate adversary not a friend in 2008. The reality that the rising Russian threat melding with the longstanding Iranian threat developing right before our eyes is terror in its grandest scale as the possibility of the nuclear warfare and the slaughter of millions could be just around the corner.

Does anyone for a moment think Mahmood Arhmadinejad understands "strategic deterents?" In a world where life means little and martyrdom (suicide for the sake of genocide) reigns supreme, this is the true ultimate nightmare scenario.

Paying more taxes is the “patriotic” thing to do, really?

This is from the man we recently documented gave so little to charity over the past ten years, a miserly pittance of his annual income, never more than $400 a year while earning between $200-$300 thousand a year. The patriotic thing to do is pay more taxes. This issue goes right to the heart of the cynical depravity of the prominent liberals of today’s political scene. Patriotism is something a person feels within himself or herself. Patriotism is a part of a person’s character. Patriotism requires an individual makes choices and acts upon those choices. Patriotism is not just being quiet and smiling while the government fleeces an individual regardless of wealth of more of his or her capital.

Walk through any major hospital and see the names of wings in that hospital bearing the name of some “rich” person in the community who provided substantial funding for its construction -- THAT’S PATRIOTISM.

Having an idea or a dream, following it through starting a business, and creating jobs for others, THAT’S PATRIOTIC.

Investing in America wisely, its businesses, its charities, its public and private institutions of learning and health care. THAT’S PATRIOTIC

Shut up and let the government take more of your money, that’s BULLSHIT not PATRIOTISM.

The conservative free-enterprise position is that the government should provide the fair playing field where more people can invest more of their money in enterprises that benefit others and put more money in everyone’s pocket. It’s not the government’s job to decide who has to much, STEAL it and give it to whomever it feels according to its political ideology most deserves it. That’s not just BULLSHIT that SOCIALISM.

As the current financial crisis filters down to the primary causes and whose actions helped cause it, it will be revealed that politicians were looking out for their self-interests and not keeping the playing field clean so these kinds of financial atrocities are not possible.

How much will the press notice that the second largest recipient of funds from the troubled Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae was Barack Obama himself (second to Chris Dodd who is in the bovine fecal matter up to his chin in mortgage crisis favors)? While Barack Obama rants and raves about how horrible it is that John McCain’s staff has employed many (former) lobbyists, he’d better take a good look at his own house and where’s his money coming from like Tony Rezko for instance.

When it comes to fixing up the economy, the Obama solution is to push the United States to the kind of socialism that all but destroyed the British economy until Maggie Thatcher liberated it. What a bitter irony! Increasingly, London not Wall Street is becoming the IPO center of the world as the American economy, high taxes on business, and over-regulation is forcing world class corporations to conduct their highest priority business anywhere but here.

Look at it this way, corporate America seeks to find the most intelligent and articulate talent available to represent its case in Washington through the lobbyists it hires. In a regulation-happy Capitol Hill where measures like Sarbanes-Oxley seek to prevent corporate corruption but instead burying companies in wasted productivity, higher overhead and costs, complying with the picayune details of this overreaching legislation, surely it is part of every public company’s responsibility to educate our elected leaders the real cost of their actions on the nation’s bottom line. Drive up the cost of doing business, companies are less profitable with less money to compensate workers, less profit to add value to their stock which is the backbone of pensions and 401K’s and in part helps contribute to the mess the economy has become today.

If John McCain wants a strong administration with top talent, who has the better pool of talent those who’ve survived corporate America or a federation of lawyers, “activists,” union officials, and other special interest advocates who comprise the Obama/Biden effort.

Sarah Palin put it nicely in her remarks about how politicians are addicted to OPM (yeah, read aloud it sounds like Opium), Other People’s Money. In Mr. Biden’s shameful interview, he continued to address the need of the governments need to “take” more money. Take more money.

There’s another fallacy of the Liberal Lie. Tax revenue is the people’s money, all the people’s money, to be spent prudently on that which benefits all the people.

While the Obama/Biden ticket and the Democratic leaders scream about oil company profits, they forbid those same companies from putting their money where it will benefit the American people the most, producing American oil, drilling off-shore, in Alaska, and other areas they have put off-limits. Contrast this to how Sarah Palin’s administration dealt with oil company profits in Alaska. In exchange for the state’s support to facilitate the industry functioning profitably in that state, the taxes levied against the oil companies go directly as rebates to Alaska’s citizens. The citizens share in the wealth generated by business in that state.

Analysis:

Let's examine what's hopeful and what's audacious. This should show us so clearly just how out of touch this man of great academic elite distinction stands so far apart from the world of real people with real hopes.

Barack Obama's most significant attempt to define himself was writing The Audacity of Hope; however, in the title of that work itself is the true essence of why Barack Obama is so off-target on defining what's going on in the world today.

A severely disabled person who is struggling with Medicare to get desperately needed health care that could help him return to a productive life hopes for the promise each new day brings...that's not audacious, that's real.

A volunteer who goes into the toughest neighborhood to work with disadvantaged students hoping to help them raise above their environment...that's not audacious, that's real.

A CEO who has a vision for his company's future despite struggling with more and more government regulations like Sarbanes-Oxyley, stiffer foreign competition, rising health care costs hoping to bring the highest quality products at the best cost to markete....that's not audacious, that's real.

A young musician who plays her heart out every night putting in hour after hour performing and recording hoping to record her first album .... that's not audacious, that's real.

A young girl who loves science dreams of her future hoping she'll find a break through medicine to treat a dreadful disease..... that's not audacious, that's real.

An airman curls in pain in an enemy's prison, his body broken and tortured, yet he hopes and dreams of his trip back home...that's not audacious, that's real.

What's audacious is Barack Obama himself. Here's a man who has given so little but wants so much. When citizens listen to John McCain talk of his experience and the things that motivated him to seek high office or were introduced to Sarah Palin who spoke of one thing after another she acccomplished in her short political life even selling the governor's jet on eBay, we see a something very different and a completely different idea of hope than what Barack Obama has to say. Regardless of issue or audience, in speech after speech and numerous interviews, the public constantly hears Mr. Obama set up his positions with, "I've always thought...." "I've always said....." or "It's always been my opinion." Those remarks continue to beg the question, not just what have you done for us lately, but what have you done at all. The truth is "saying" and "thinking" are not accomplishments. Making opinions sound good are not jobs well done.

For Barack Obama to believe he should be the leader of the most powerful and greatest country on this planet is not just wrong, it's very audacious. So if we want to see the real meaning of audacity, it's the life of Barack Obama himself. Just look it up in Webster's above. His arrogant disregard of normal restraints defines who he is. In all the situations listed above, we looked at examples of how people pay their dues and work hard to earn their ability to hope. Barack Obama thinks that's something he's entitled to on a silver platter.
