How do we put this politely? New York Times columnist, Paul Krugman is a genuine ass. He bares his soul to show his true sense of elitism in a recent posting "The Conscience of a Liberal" as if that term itself in today's world is not an oxymoron. The Liberal elites have long established themselves as the true and only intellectuals in modern society. In essence the extent to which one is intellectual is measured by how much one accepts the prevailing ideology of the left. Krugman all but concedes that point in this short essay.
Be assured, anyone who attempts to present a faith based position, argues from the point of view demanding strict interpretation of the United States Constitution in deciding matters of law, offers any argument to refute global warming, or does not buy into the notion of a society of exploited victims that it is the duty of the elites to protect from themselves and the free enterprise system are all intellectually inferior, bigoted, hateful, or religious fanatics whether they indicate any religious affiliation or not.
While calling themselves the champions of tolerance, their intolerance toward any diversity (a word they like) of opinion especially ones that favor traditional values or the capitalist system does not exist.
Whether its in opinion columns in the major newspapers like the New York times, views expressed in their select Internet sites such as MoveOn.org, the Daily KOS, and Huffington Post, broadcast outlets such as programs like Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann's on MSNBC, or the material on the David Letterman program or Saturday Night Live, the cult of demonization against all who dare to think for themselves or to live outside the box of the Northeast, Washington, DC, or the far left coast is overwhelming and stifling.
And then there are folks they are quick to embrace like Janeane Garofalo and Perez Hilton, YEOW!!!
