Hats Off to Sully!!! A TRUE HERO

HERO

Hats off to Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III. It was a heart-warming and touching moment to see this 21st century American hero and his crew be honored for their miraculous splash landing on the Hudson River when both of their US Airways Airbus blew both of its engines having sucked in geese flying around the plane's point of departure.

Every thing about this wonderful man speaks of dignity whether it was his few words and "just doing my job" attitude to the distinguished well-mannered behavior he has shown through out after a potentially fatal event that would have killed over 150 people.

Unlike many who would exploit such a situation by making the talk show rounds, "Sully" has maintained a low profile letting his behavior not his words do the talking.

Now we've found that he even reported that he had lost a library book in the cargo hold of that flight to his local library. What was he reading? A book on professional ethics.

What a guy!

We are thankful to be able to honor some real heroes from time to time on our blog. In a world of moral cowardice and sleazy oportunism, here's a man who is the real deal, a role model to all.

God bless Captain Sullenberger!
