Barack Obama: Big Government, Bigger Lies

Hi boys and girls. We're used to the what comes out of what is pictured on the left. That's the standard fare of Washington, DC. On the right, we see something far more threatening that has done more to destroy America's financial future in six weeks than over three decades of the Cold War could accomplish. This is "change you can believe in?"

It hasn't even been six weeks, but Barack Obama is rapidly exceeding the worst of Jimmy Carter and Lyndon Johnson with a sense of radical fervor and ideological posturing that is unprecedented for the United States Presidency.
The American public is used to exaggeration and self-serving bending of the truth not to mention the time-honored technique of commission by omission...as in "Oh you don't say!" Listen to it long enough the spin will make you dizzy.
Give Barack Obama credit, given his extreme sense of overconfidence and overwhelming ego, why spin things a little, let's just go for the bold-faced lie.
A nauseating theme of Obama's claims to clean up Washington is his constant harping that lobbyists and special interests have no place or influence in his White House. After severely restricting hiring lobbyists and putting stiffling restrictions on staff members who might seek lobbying jobs after leaving his administration, he quickly exempted that policy to facillitate hiring some top officials. Hypocrisy or dishonesty? How about BOTH!!

A moron could look through almost every major policy initiative the Obama presidency has developed and see the hands of special interest concerns through out the policy specifics ones that specifically favor unions and activist groups like ACORN. One has to wonder what access groups like the thugs behind DailyKOS and the crazed true believers of MoveOn.org will have in Obama-Nation.

Barack Obama has made no secret that he is a strong believer in the "labor movement" which in the current economic mess our country faces is worse than a "bowel movement." Examine the bailout provisions and kid glove treatment labor issues are given with the loans to help save General Motors and Chrysler Corporation. Is it any wonder that the administration supports the "Employee Free Choice Act" which is Orwellian new speak at its most extreme. This is the name given the card-check provision which eliminates the requirement that employees should be given the right to a secret ballot to vote on whether or not they seek union representation. Card check, of course, means union organizers distribute and collect votes leading to the spector of harassment to coerce members to vote as the union thugs direct them to do. What restrictions could there be? Might a Walmart worker, for instance, get a knock on the door from a couple of union reps stopping by to make it easier for them to place their vote with card in hand ready to provide their "suggestions" with a certain degree of "persuasion."
The big lie is part of the big ego. If unions and so-called grass roots organizations are not special interest groups who actively lobby in Washington, what are they?
It makes promises of quality health care for all and guaranteed college educations sound as reasonable as Fannie and Freddie offering a new round of subprime mortgage loans for ocean front property in Arizona.
