Obama Believes He Knows Who Makes Too Much Money

Somehow it seems ironic that we should report this on May 1st. After all, May Day is the great day of celebration for the world wide socialist movement, and we’re looking at some very revealing words from their most powerful adherent, Barack Obama, who absolutely showed his true stripes with a little impromptu comment. (We’ve learned that his impromptu remarks are far more revealing – such as “The Cambridge Police acted stupidly” and back on the campaign his spread the wealth around remarks that made Joe the Plumber famous.)

Here it is – what’s left to say – in his own words…

"Now, what we're doing, I want to be clear, we're not trying to push Financial Reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money."

Every right minded person must make sure these words will live in infamy and cost Barack Obama dearly even more so than elder Bush’s “read my lips” comment harmed him. While talking off-the-prompter this week pushing financial reform and demonizing Republicans for their deliberate approach, once again the former Chicago organizer, friend of William Ayers, and congregant of Jeremiah Wright reveals his true character. For those not comfortable with calling Obama a socialist, what is a socialist?

We’d like to know who Barack Obama thinks makes too much money. Would it be Warren Buffett or George Soros, billionaires who could buy half the countries in the world? Would it be Hollywood stars who make over $20 million a film but spend most of their time lounging around their palaces of excise in Malibu and Beverly Hills?

Where this writer comes from, we might suggest Mark Teixeira’s contract with the Yankees. How about public school teachers in the Washington, DC area who make more than $100k not for their teaching prowess but simply for their longevity reaching the top of the pay scale?

We’d also suggest tons of government workers who do little but waste our tax dollars well represented by SEIU. Has anyone needed a lawyer lately? Check out legal fees these days. How about the situation in California where the state teeters on bankruptcy. Their obligation to unionized state workers and their out-of-site benefits package has the state handcuffed.

We think we know who Obama has in mind, folks who make a lot of money through being successful in the corporate world.

The bottom line – the American way to do it is to let the market decide who makes what.

For those who still haven’t had their wake up call, these words this week should serve notice. While the debate whether the label, socialist, fits Obama, his sentiments are absolutely against free enterprise on a very gut level.

We can’t let these infamous words fade into the background. Obama must wear these like a scarlet letter.
